They say what goes on in Vegas should stay in Vegas, so I will keep this brief.
The TRL: 2007 MTV Video Music Awards Nominations Special (breathe) was a monster show with Lily Allen, Kanye West, Common, Chris Brown, Robin Thicke, Timbaland and Rihanna. Kanye tore the house down with his performance on TRL that day from the headquarters in NY as we linked live via satellite to our new temporary base at the Palms, LV for the 2007 MTV VMAs. (I'm working on the "temporary" part!)
Joined by Lily Allen (who honestly has a gift for the game of roulette) we checked out the site where the VMA's are going down come September 9th- from the bustling casino floor to the Hugh Hefner Sky Villa suite where Kanye will be performing and later hosting his VMA after-party. There's no doubt in my mind that with what we have planned for this years VMAs — this years show is going to be the biggest yet and will set a new standard for awards shows around the world.

I mean, the MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas. It's over.
Now, even though it was meant to be a hit-and-run trip, I decided it was only best that I stay on a couple of days to survey the site and scope it out before the big week — for work purposes of course.
