· Snoop Dogg cousin and “Regulators” crooner Nate Dogg was sentenced to three years’ informal probation after pleading guilty last week to aggravated trespassing and battery stemming from a 2006 domestic-violence complaint, according to TMZ. The former Death Row artist will have to complete a domestic-violence treatment program and can’t own a weapon for 10 years. It’s been a rough few months for Dogg, who suffered a mild stroke in December.
· Diddy settled a lawsuit for an undisclosed amount yesterday in which a Los Angeles real-estate agent claimed the music mogul had punched him and insulted his girlfriend at an Oscar-related party at a Hollywood hotel in February. [via TMZ]
· Oasis and the Foo Fighters will be headlining the Toronto edition of the Virgin Festival, on September 6-7. Also scheduled to perform are Bloc Party, Paul Weller and Spiritualized.
· A judge in California has upheld a ruling from last month that gave Britney Spears‘ father control of her life. As co-conservator for his daughter’s affairs, James Spears will be able to restrict visitors, oversee caretakers and have access to Britney’s medical records.
