First off, please keep in mind that Heart gave the world two of the raunchiest tracks of the 70's in "Barracuda" and "Magic Man." Hell, some of you were probably conceived to that music. If you were conceived in the back of a Chevy Impala.
So we mean no disrespect. But it looks like Heart's Nancy Wilson made a ridiculous faux pas while doing a press conference for "American Idol." (Lots of "Idol" this morning, but trust us on this one...)
When asked what she thinks of Paula Abdul's talents, Nancy surprisingly waxes waaaay poetic about her music, calling her new single "velvety." (As velvety as this...?) Problem is, she's talking about another famous pop/R&B diva. You know, one who's not actually judging the major, major show they're guesting on.
For some of that, um, "velvety" sound, check out old-school Paula's take on "Flashdance" after the jump. If you dare. Remembers, this video is from the days when Arsenio Hall was considered fashion-forward...
