Who Is The ‘Hottest MC In The Game’? Cast Your Vote Right Here!

All hands on deck! Once again, the MTV News Hip-Hop Brain Trust members are picking, sorting and battling over their choices for the top 10 Hottest MCs in the Game. They are considering everyone who has been active from the time of the highly controversial first “Hottest MCs in the Game” — which published in July of last year — up until now.

The artists are being judged on lyrics, flow, swagger and overall impact. You’ll get to see the Brain Trust go at it again on Friday, May 16, at 10 p.m. ET on MTV, when MTV News Presents the second edition of “The Hottest MCs in the Game.”

Obviously, true hip-hop fans will have more than a mouthful to say after the results are in — but why wait? We’re giving you the chance to have your say right now: While we encourage you to send in your full top 10, right now we want you to participate in this poll and tell us your pick for the #1 Hottest MC in the Game right now.

Please note: This audience poll will have no impact on the Brain Trust’s final top 10, but the results will be included in our coverage.

I voted for Game only cus the list is very weak and has garbage rappers on it. What about Canibus? He's not mainstream but he dropped an album last year and had an infinite track on there where he spit over 1,000 Bars! He should get recognition off that track alone! lupe fiasco is the hottest mc out there. his first 2 albums were both instant classics and both have some of the best rap i've heard in recent years. he actually has a purpose behind his raps, unlike mcs like lil wayne, and his beats and samples are all sick. i recently saw him on kanye's glow in the dark tour and he was great live, but i wish he would have performed longer than the roughly 45 minutes he was given (or at least more than rihanna and n.e.r.d., who was also great). kanye has to be second for reasons similar to lupe, but i have him behind lupe because i wasn't a huge fan of graduation as a whole. nas is also hot with his new album, as well as hip hop is dead being one of his best efforts in years. nas and ghostface both embody true gangsta rap, a rap form that is presently in the gutter because of the likes of t-pain, flo rida, and soulja boy, who are destroying rap music as we know it. i could not believe black thought from the roots was not on the list. the new roots album is awesome and he has some really great and meaningful raps throughout.

Lets stop the hate crimes people! Fact, love it or hate it, WAYNE HAS THE MOST ANTICIPATED ALBUM COMING OUT THIS YEAR IN HIP HOP! Those are my top ten becuse 50 sucks and no one like him in the south or west coast. Gucci Mane sucks because all his beats are the same and he rap about the same ol s*** and besides hes not from atlanta and until he rep where he is really from (Alabama) I will never respect him. I would have put Rich Boy on there but he's new. Shawty Lo is a good one his cd is good also but he is stupid for coming at T.I. but when he get back he will shut down both Gucci and Shawty Lo. Rocko is also a great rapper but just like Rich Boy he is new. Plies & Joe Budden? You can't be serious why tha hell they are on the list...Plies was dope until he came out wit that Bust it baby s*** then he fell off and Joe Budden!!! No comment on him...do he even rap anymore.... Young Buck was too talented for G-Unit. And if it wasn't for Jay-Z, 50 cent wouldn't even have a career...now the old 50 (power of a dollar) is good but now he is slowly falling off...

This is a wild card to some but if you truly know ur hip hop than you'll understand this. Atmosphere is a very underated and deserves top 10 consideration.

The dude had top 5 album in the first week without pullin stupid publicity stunts like 50 cent runnin off his mouth. This dude did it without a major single or major radio or major publicity. The dude is deep with his metaphors and he is veteran of the game.
