Who Is The ‘Hottest MC In The Game’? Cast Your Vote Right Here!

All hands on deck! Once again, the MTV News Hip-Hop Brain Trust members are picking, sorting and battling over their choices for the top 10 Hottest MCs in the Game. They are considering everyone who has been active from the time of the highly controversial first “Hottest MCs in the Game” — which published in July of last year — up until now.

The artists are being judged on lyrics, flow, swagger and overall impact. You’ll get to see the Brain Trust go at it again on Friday, May 16, at 10 p.m. ET on MTV, when MTV News Presents the second edition of “The Hottest MCs in the Game.”

Obviously, true hip-hop fans will have more than a mouthful to say after the results are in — but why wait? We’re giving you the chance to have your say right now: While we encourage you to send in your full top 10, right now we want you to participate in this poll and tell us your pick for the #1 Hottest MC in the Game right now.

Please note: This audience poll will have no impact on the Brain Trust’s final top 10, but the results will be included in our coverage.

Now in days, the game is very rough and artist come back and fall back here and now today. You got cats like The Game with 2 and possibly 3 classic back to back albums and dudes like Jay-Z who leaves the game and come back and still keeps it relevant and bs on tracks just for the do, but still is better than all mc's on the hip hop market. Next we have Fabolous, who's swag is hot and lyrics are crazy but is an unspecified character due to his laid back feature and then we have the people champ, Lil Wayne, which is by the most over rated rapper of all time and with people exposing that opinion has gased up his head and confidence to the point now he is one of th most non lyrical rappers in the game, one who had legendary potential and still have people in his cocky corner, but is not fooling the Hip Hop politics. If you are the best rapper alive and the hottest MC of 2007, why is your album keep getting pushed back and leaked on purpose, is it because your not constant not as hot as your appear.....with that being said, there are still names on the list who really need more votes, even some south artist...but its up to you to make the right decision

Listen to this. Game is the best MC out right now. Not only is he doing well lyrically, musically, and financially, he's got his own label. He's got Clyde Carson and Juice under his belt with Black Wall Street, and both are hot. That just adds points for Game. I mean seriously man, his name is "The Game". He owns the game. Listen to Big Dreams. Crazy a** lyrics. Pain, just shows how he can switch his style up. Still a good song if the hook wasn't so damn long. 911 is a joke is a brand new song and that has some crazy a** lyrics too. You guys got to compare s*** from The Game and all these other guys. Have you heard most of the songs from YKWII Volume 4? All these songs are f***ing hot. Listened to the song Lyrical Homicide that features Wayne? Game f***ing kills. He lyrically kills half of the mainstream rappers out these days easily. 2 albums that easily went multi-platinum. F***ing third album might even go diamond. Hottest rapper right now, no doubt, is The Game. Lil' Wayne is just lucky that everyone jumped on his d*** so fast.

I'm done. I'll write a f***ing list of Game songs that are hot.

Of course Lil' Wayne will have a lot of hot songs on his mixtapes. He does a f***ing remix of every song that comes out.

At least Game writes his own lyrics and isn't ***.

I'm disgusted in the committee even considering Soulja Boy an MC, that's like saying MC Brains, Hammer or Luke are MCs just because they make hiphop music, NO! It doesn't work that way! Also, i like game, but dude needs to step his work ethic up if he wants to be considered as a top 10.....now i like prodigy and styles p more than anyone in the list, but they are not going to be top 10 on a national poll right now.....but their work ethic should have them CONSIDERED....game puts out good stuff but i don't be hearing him as much, maybe i'm not as exposed on the east coast...

No disrespect to any emcee not mentioned in my top ten list...however, the brothers on this list are not only gifted and profound but extremely detailed. Each emcee has the ability to breakdown a subject and paint a picture so vivid you always look forward to hearing they're next verse.

Yes 50 cent is dope, but lyrically he's average. Wayne is also a dope emcee, but come on I recently heard other niggas write his rhymes, now thats a no no to me. Kanye is dope but come on Big L is # 10 on my list do you really think Kanye is touching B.L.

Now I understand being the hottest should have something to do with sells and radio spins, and if thats the case 50, Wayne, and Kanye are the greatest but I bet you atleast 8 of the emcees on my list would be on their top ten list too.
