Who Is The ‘Hottest MC In The Game’? Cast Your Vote Right Here!

All hands on deck! Once again, the MTV News Hip-Hop Brain Trust members are picking, sorting and battling over their choices for the top 10 Hottest MCs in the Game. They are considering everyone who has been active from the time of the highly controversial first “Hottest MCs in the Game” — which published in July of last year — up until now.

The artists are being judged on lyrics, flow, swagger and overall impact. You’ll get to see the Brain Trust go at it again on Friday, May 16, at 10 p.m. ET on MTV, when MTV News Presents the second edition of “The Hottest MCs in the Game.”

Obviously, true hip-hop fans will have more than a mouthful to say after the results are in — but why wait? We’re giving you the chance to have your say right now: While we encourage you to send in your full top 10, right now we want you to participate in this poll and tell us your pick for the #1 Hottest MC in the Game right now.

Please note: This audience poll will have no impact on the Brain Trust’s final top 10, but the results will be included in our coverage.

When makin a list like this i think it's important to view the whole package of what an emcee is. Lyrics, flow, swagger and performance. You can't play favorites in a list like this either if u wna make a real list. Ghostface is dope, Andre 3k is dope, Clipse is dope but this year they arent putting on enough content for them to be hott. Real fans know Joe Budden is a top 5 lyricist on the list but with all the other factors invovled an no album out since 05 he cant b put up there.

Lil' Wayne is not a consistant rapper!! Period!! Everybody wants to put Wayne up there but he has a average song in "Lollipop." Nobody can can he has 2-3 consecutive hot singles,not mixtapes songs!!! His mixtapes songs don't even hit the radio, not in NY, NC, or GA for that matter. 50 mixtape joints hit the radio much more than anyone on the list, because he knows the science in making songs.
Talib Kweli is my favorite artist hands down, as well as Lupe. But reality wise, you got to give it to 50 because he came out with what he calls "a dud" and went back to the basics and now is throwing hot ass songs for your ride and at the clubs.
Real talk, Lil' Wayne got mad mixtapes, but had no album in between those, meaning everyone is going to compare this Carter 3 album to his mixtape songs and people will be disappointed at the outcome.

P.S. - People really need to take a business class or something because no one is going to sell 5 million plus records for a while, THE ECONOMY IS BAD!!!!! I got more but you will have to email with more....

How come Max B aint up there. Only argument u could have on that is because he doesnt have any albums out but he has been featured on several semi successful tracks.
