· They don’t call him Johnny Rotten for nothing. The notoriously nasty Sex Pistols singer (born John Lydon) has been accused in a lawsuit of punching a woman in the face and berating her with a string of expletives after she allegedly booked him into a hotel room that didn’t have a door adjoining his assistant’s room.
· The inaugural All Points West Music & Arts Festival has added some more acts: Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals, former Phish front man Trey Anastasio, Robyn, Matt Costa, Duke Spirit and Ben Jelen.
· Franz Ferdinand are wrapping up work on their new album, which may include the songs "Lucid Dreams," "Ulysses," "Dream Again" and "A Severed Head."
· We know it’s kind of against the whole vibe and whatnot, but if you don’t hurry, you might not get a spot on next year’s Jam Cruise. In which case, you'd miss floating sets from Keller Williams, Michael Franti, Medeski Martin & Wood, Leftover Salmon and Galactic.
· Ozzy Osbourne has won libel damages against English tabloid the Daily Star over a story that said he suffered a health scare before the Brit Awards.
· Bad news for Solange Knowles: Beyoncé’s baby sis broke her foot during a show in Kansas City on Sunday. Solange is down but not out and will perform the rest of the shows on her Art of Love Tour while sitting on a stool. Trouper!
