· First she was tapped to save the world, now "Heroes" star Hayden Panettiere will try to bail out the music biz. The pintsize actress' reggae-flavored debut single, "Wake Up Call," will be promoted heavily by Candie's in an ad campaign due to kick off in July.
· "Regulate" rapper Warren G was arrested in Hollywood on Sunday after the car he was riding in was stopped by police for allegedly running a red light. When cops pulled the car over, they say they found enough marijuana in the vehicle to arrest the pair for possession with intent to sell.
· We totally told you Led Zeppelin were going to reunite for more shows. OK, so maybe it was just guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones, but they totally rocked it Saturday night at Wembley Stadium in London when they guested at a Foo Fighters show.
· Maybe it's just us, but it kind of looks like Pharrell edited the new Madonna video, "Give It 2 Me," to give himself some additional screen time.
· Why go see the real thing when you can see the cover band at a Save New Wave show? Love the Smiths and Morrissey? Check out Sweet & Tender Hooligans. Depeche Mode? Try Blasphemous Rumors. The Cure? Meet the Cured. OK, that last one isn't even trying.
· The new Girl Talk album, Feed the Animals, will debut online in the next few weeks, in a Radiohead-like pay-what you-want format, on Greg Gillis' site, IllegalArt.net.
· The good news is that AC/DC will soon release their first new studio album in eight years. The bad news: It will be available only at Wal-Mart, so we're going to assume it won't include a "Big Balls" sequel.
