· Diddy loves what Weezy is doing. Puff Daddy told the world on his video blog that he considers Lil Wayne's Tha Carter III a classic. "The hype is real. He's definitely the greatest, youngest rapper alive. ... Lil Wayne's album is crazy," Diddy declared. "Go get that. I'm just giving love where love is due."
· A New York judge ruled that 50 Cent may not sell the Long Island property where a $2.4 million house he owned was destroyed by what fire officials dubbed a "suspicious fire" last month. 50 was further ordered to put any insurance proceeds he may receive into a trust account, pending the outcome of a prolonged dispute with ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins, who claims 50 promised her the house a decade ago. The rapper tried to evict her and their 10-year-old son, Marquise, before the fire gutted the Dix Hills, New York, structure.
