· That was quick. Season-six "American Idol" runner-up, beat-boxing '80s-lover Blake Lewis, has been dropped by his label, Arista Records, after only one album. Audio Day Dream only moved 300,000 copies. The "Idol" boys curse strikes again.
· So, it turns out the California blogger who posted those nine Chinese Democracy tracks over the weekend didn't just get shut down by Guns N' Roses' label, he also got a visit from the FBI.
· Radiohead are offering 10 live recordings of In Rainbows tracks on the iTunes store. The songs are from a recent show at the Hospital in London and were recorded by frequent collaborator Nigel Godrich.

· R. Kelly got off on those child-pornography charges, but the fan who was held in contempt of court for yelling at the jurors in the case? Still in jail. Debra Triplett, 48, a grandmother, has been in jail for 34 days for yelling "Free R. Kelly!" because she can't post the $5,000 bail. While legal experts told the Chicago Tribune that Judge Vincent Gaughan can keep Triplett in jail for up to six months without a grand jury indictment, she could be released at her court appearance Wednesday (June 24).
· We've already established what an awesome rapper Shaquille O'Neal is based on his Kobe-bashing freestyle. But apparently "America's Toughest Sheriff," Joe Arpaio, isn't a fan. The Maricopa County, Arizona, top cop has stripped O'Neal of his special deputy and colonel badges in response to the obscenities in the Shaq attack video that's been making the rounds.
· You can have your Lollapalooza and Coachella. The biggest, baddest music festival of the year is always Milwaukee's 11-day Summerfest. Among the acts on the roster this year Sean Kingston, Paramore, Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, the Jonas Brothers, Gnarls Barkley, Rush, Sevendust, Flobots, Filter, Stone Temple Pilots, Plain White T's, the Roots, John Mayer, Coheed and Cambria, and Dashboard Confessional. But, strangely, no Vampire Weekend.
· In Broadway news, India.Arie is set to make her Great White Way debut in a revival of "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf," which is being produced by Whoopi Goldberg. And Danity Kane's Aubrey O'Day will step into the role of Amber Von Tussle in "Hairspray" from July 18-August 31.
