That was quick. Less than a day after speculation emerged that Lenny Kravitz might be trying out for the empty Velvet Revolver singer slot, the clotheshorse rocker quickly shot down the rumor.
"I know and love the Velvet Revolver guys but there is no truth to the story about me joining their band," the former schoolmate of VR guitarist Slash told RollingStone.com on Tuesday.
Apparently, The Sun's report about Kravitz jamming in the studio with VR was unfounded, mostly because Lenny is touring Europe at the moment and hasn't had any contact with the VR dudes at all.
So, for those of you keeping score, not fronting Velvet Revolver: Sebastian Bach, Royston Langdon, Lenny Kravitz and (we hadn't even heard this one) that creepy guy who won, then lost, the "Rock Star: Supernova" gig, Lukas Rossi.
