This morning, the rumor that reality-TV fixture Kim Kardashian would be participating in the next season of ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" was confirmed. But according to news reports, Kardashian may have hurt her chances on the show before her first fox-trot, now that she's damaged her twinkle toes.
TMZ.com is reporting that Kardashian cut her foot Sunday night, in her New York hotel room. Apparently, she sliced her foot open on a glass coffee table and was then rushed to New York Presbyterian Hospital. There's no word on what treatment she received, and it remains unclear whether Kim will be well enough to take the floor.
The mishap couldn't have come at a worse time. The "Dancing With the Stars" lineup announced this morning also features Susan Lucci, Toni Braxton, Lance Bass and Brooke Burke. But in an interview with The Associated Press, Kardashian said, "I will be able to dance. I went to the hospital. I'll be fine."
