It’s Back To Work For DJ AM

Jay-Z and DJ AM

It’s been less than a month since DJ AM and former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker walked away from a jet crash that claimed the lives of four others. Two skin-graft surgeries later, AM (born Adam Goldstein) was back to work last night, manning the decks for Jay-Z‘s concert marking the reopening of the Hollywood Palladium.

It’s great to see AM getting back to his pre-crash routine. While we’re still not sure when Barker will be well enough to return to the stage, he is expected to make a full recovery, like AM. Perhaps it won’t be long before AM and Barker return to doing what they were doing just hours before the accident. One thing’s for sure: We will be seeing Barker back on that stage some day, because — let’s face it — musicians need to perform. It’s good to see AM’s doing so well after such a harrowing experience.
