Golf? Not so much.
I mean, I watch the highlights on ESPN of Tiger Hood (yeah, we claimed him — Woods is 'hood) obliterating the competition, but it never really inspired me to want to play. Well, unless you count putt-putt. I'm a miniature-golf fiend when I get a chance to play in VA (Bad News, what up!!!).
But doing what we do here at MTV News, there are some things you have to see for yourself. So when our good friend Theda Dotcom told us that one of her clients, Scarface, not only loved to play golf, but invited us to come with him to play while we were in Houston for the Ozone Awards, no way could I say no.
Sure enough, 'Face was up bright and early on the greens showing us his skills. He can play pretty cool, too, for a guy who's been at it for less than two years. I couldn't resist when his instructor, Bruce, asked me to take a stroke. After my go at it, Bruce said I was a natural. Even better than 'Face when he first started. LOL!!!!
I'm too busy running around trying to get the scoop from all your favorite rappers like Nas and Ludacris, but trust: In about 10, 15 years when I'm getting all old, I will throw myself into golf. I'm hoping that people like Michael Jordan, Scarface and Charles Barkley will still be around. I'm coming for that tournament money!!!!
