Growing up, I went to the Palisades Mall in Nyack, New York, all the time with my friends. In high school, it was our hangout on Friday nights. So, as you can imagine, going back there now, all these years later, to cover an assignment following the Jonas Brothers around for MTV News — the job I told everyone in high school I would have one day — is quite mind-boggling.
First off, traveling to the Westchester airport to attend a press conference featuring the most famous group of guys in the world is pretty cool as it is, but it's not often that these types of assignments give you the opportunity to go home, even if it's only for a few hours. To say the least, it was a trip.
NEW YORK — Jesse McCartney's tour came through Times Square yesterday, so it wasn't surprising to walk into the Nokia Theater and see a room packed tighter than a "tin" of sardines (that's Brit Tim Kash wearing off on me). As the steamy sea of folks, growing impatient, began to push and pull, a tiny angelic voice soothed the crowd with her first few words, "Hey there, folks, I'm Anjulie."
If a grown man who occasionally dresses up in women's clothing, complete with a blonde wig and fake boobs (purely for comedic purposes of course), and who has a very unhealthy obsession with all things pop culture ("American Idol," "The Hills," "ABDC" ... you name it, he loves it) asks you if he can borrow your beloved dog for a shoot — you probably would say, "NO!"

And Megan Joy Corkrey, Jesse Langseth and Matt Brietzke also failed to make the top 12 cut. Is this the last we'll see of these Idol wannabes? Who will get the wild card? Check out our
