Hi, all! It’s Jocelyn Vena here, MTV News' fashionista for the evening. I’m here to share my thoughts on tonight’s hits and misses as the celebrities roll up on the Grammy Awards red carpet. (And of course, you’re here to tell me if you agree or disagree, so speak up in the comments section!) I can’t wait to see what everyone is wearing!
5:10 p.m.: Death Cab for Cutie have made their way onto the carpet wearing four suits, two beards and no Zooey Deschanel in sight.
5:25: Best New Artist nominees Lady Antebellum arrived looking like mixed bag of styles instead of one cohesive group.
5:45: Jason Mraz just showed up wearing, wait for it, a hat. This guy loves his fedoras and luckily this one, much like his music, is beach friendly and appears to be made of straw.
6:07: Paula Abdul is a hot mess of yellow and sequins and giant beehive of a bun. It's like if Frenchie went to that school dance in "Grease" in the future. Flo Rida followed up her appearance looking very tame in a suit.

6:17: Self-proclaimed gentleman Ne-Yo has made his way onto the carpet sporting an ascot and looking dapper. He looks like the R&B Chuck Bass.
6:20: Leona Lewis' nude-colored, sequined halter gown has a very lovely fabric, but why did she decide that her hair and her dress should match? Maybe she should have done something in a different color. Fellow Brit Estelle looked like she was wearing makeup from Motown and borrowed Judy Jetson's dress. We're assuming this was done on purpose.

6:28: Ryan Seacrest has managed to remind LL Cool J that he's kind of old. And, LL seems reluctant to take off his sunglasses.
6:31: OMG!!! Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift on the carpet at the same time and they're both in black! They match! Taylor's deep V-neck gown complements Miley's one-shouldered, flower-embellished one very nicely. They look like best friends going to an awards show together. It's kind of cute!

6:41: OneRepublic like bow ties. Enough said. T-Pain is wearing his signature top hat and the rest of his outfit looks like it's made of cardboard... Eww! He popped out his grill! That is inappropriate red carpet behavior. Carrie Underwood has arrived in a white sequined dress and a hairstyle that's a little less country than her usual big hair choices.
6:48: Decked out in diamonds, Katy Perry is wearing a bubble-gum pink gown with a rhinestone-emblazoned bow on her hip. We have to say we sort of love her shiny heart clutch. She looks lovely.
6:57: Fantasia sparkles in silver and black. Lots of sparkles. Lupe Fiasco is nerdy chic, emphasis on the chic. Duffy is wearing her signature, modern looking bouffant and a pretty little black dress that is a fun take on the “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”/Aubrey Hepburn look.
7:02: Also on hand is fellow Amy Winehouse knock-off (and we mean that in a good way), Adele who should have brushed her hair, but managed to wear a very sophisticated black dress. Sheryl Crowe matched her baby blue Grecian gown to her eyes. Brilliant idea. "Legend" John Mayer is there (that's Seacreast's term, not ours). Legend? Really? Ugh!!!! He's in black and looks boring.
7:15: Update: Zooey Deschanel is there wearing lavender and peep-toe heels! Adorable.
7:29: It's nice to see Jennifer Hudson back on the scene, but why in a bib? This is the Oscars metallic shrug debacle all over again! But, once again, we are happy to see Jennifer back out there!
7:33: UM! M.I.A is there, still pregnant. And wearing colors that make her appear to look like a globe. T.I. in a camel blazer with matching vest, no tie. He's casual and cool. Jay-Z is also on hand in a classic black suit. He's there with Solange, who is once again taking a fashion "risk" in a yellow, very mini-dress. No Beyonce...We quickly spied the Jonas Brothers, who all seemed to be wearing suits. How James Bond of them!

7:44: The Kings of Leon are there and look rocker chic, very chic!
7:57: Paris Hilton in a sparkly dress that could also double as a bathing suit cover. How functional!
8:00: The carpet is closed. Let show the begin!
If you missed anything, here are the highlights from the Golden Globes red carpet.
