FROM MOVIES BLOG: Thursday night, on a flight from Los Angeles to New York, I settled into my emergency-exit-row seat next to a woman with ginger-colored hair who looked familiar but I couldn’t quite place. We talked casually during the flight -- I taught her about Google video chat and she told me about her daughter, Caprice Crane, a writer and producer who is working on the new "90210." (I then launched into a rant of how obsessed I am with the original "Beverly Hills, 90210," which I immediately regretted -- I can be a little fanatical about that show …)

This week, Aubrey O'Day became an honorary member of the MTV News team as our celebrity correspondent for New York Fashion Week. We've been going to shows, fittings and parties with the fabulous former Danity Kane member.

So, it was with a heavy heart that Christina, Akshay, Micaela and I met up with Aubrey for our last day of shooting with her on Thursday. First off, we sat down with her for an interview at the W Lounge in the tents to get all the latest news about her career (new music, Playboy, her clothing line), which we'll share with you at a later date. During that sitdown, Aubrey told our camera guy, Akshay, that she thought his hair looked "sexy." It was sort of adorable. I mean who doesn't like to be called sexy by a celebrity?

After our time with Aubrey at the lounge, we headed off to the Christian Siriano show. Christian and Aubrey met for the first time (and seemed to really hit it off) when she interviewed him about his collection, which can be described as both sassy and lady-like. The collection was full of earth tones with touches of "Persian green," and celebrity attendees like Tori Spelling, Nina Garcia and "30 Rock" 's Katrina Bowden seemed to love it. Read More...

Need a cheat sheet for your Oscar pool? Our MTV Movies team — with the help of special guests Fonzworth Bentley and NY1's George Whipple — weighed in on who will win and who should win at Sunday night's Academy Awards.

A photo that appears to be of a bruised Rihanna following the alleged altercation with Chris Brown surfaced late last night on TMZ. The leak is now under investigation by the LAPD.

Heads up, Twilighters! MTV Movies Blog revealed the new logo for the second installation of the red-hot vampire series, now officially called "The Twilight Saga's New Moon."

Ex-Danity Kane singer-turned-Playboy-cover-girl Aubrey O'Day was multitasking at New York Fashion Week: In between working as MTV News' special correspondent, she hit the catwalk for friend Richie Rich.

MTV Newsroom compiled the top five Conan O'Brien sketches we hope he'll bring to "The Tonight Show." (Triumph the Insult Comic Dog must live on!)

Conan O'Brien

On Friday night, Conan O'Brien will deliver one last "Late Night" monologue, banter with a still-secret roster of celebrity guests, and then permanently shut off the lights in his studio at 30 Rock. After 2,725 shows, the goofball with the orange bouffant is heading west to take over "The Tonight Show" from Jay Leno.

There's been much talk about whether Conan's loony comedic style will translate to the more traditional confines of the 11:35 p.m. time slot. Even more worrisome, though, is the notion that the transition to the more family-friendly "Tonight Show" will necessitate an O'Brien overhaul to the point where "Late Night" fans no longer recognize their gleefully sophomoric Conzey.

With this troubling thought in mind, MTV News took a look back at the past 16 years of "Late Night" brilliance and selected the bits and sketches we can't live without. The masturbating bear and sexed-up manatee might have to go, but we hope these picks make the cut for the new "Tonight Show," which debuts June 1.

In the Year 2000
In the best "Late Night" bit of all, Conan and a rotating cast of celebrities take turns making faux-futuristic predictions about what will happen in the oh-so-far-off year 2000. The segment is really just a platform for absurdist jokes ("This holiday season, aliens that look exactly like fresh-baked gingerbread men will pick the worst possible time to invade Earth"). And yet when Conan and company don toy-like space collars and shine flashlights on their faces as if they were kids on a sleepover, the true charm, simplicity and genius of the show comes through: funny people saying funny things — and there's nothing like it on TV. Or maybe we just dig the bit because of how awesome it is to hear house trombonist LaBamba croon a falsetto "In the year two-thousaaaaaaand!" (Watch Alec Baldwin and Seth Rogen taking a look into the future.)

It's not every day that I talk to an A-list actor about his penis. In fact, it's seldom that I even speak of penises. However, I welcomed the penis of Billy Crudup into my life with open arms last night (so to speak) as I stepped into the fan universe of "Watchmen," the latest film directed by Zack Snyder.

When I arrived on set, I was overwhelmed by a slew of "Watchmen" costumes, shirts, masks (see: Rorschach) and other creative and/or frightening paraphernalia worn by the kids who came to see our exclusive screening of the film.

So, about halfway through our taping, I welcomed Billy Crudup and Matthew Goode onstage, otherwise known to fans as Dr. Manhattan and Ozymandias. Now, if you haven't read "Watchmen,” you aren't aware that Dr. Manhattan basically appears as an iridescent-blue naked man for the entirety of the film. (Think CGI meets Blue Man Group meets full-frontal nudity.) So, I felt it necessary to point out to Mr. Crudup that I was a bit uncomfortable with interviewing him as I (along with the audience) basically had been staring at his package for two hours and 45 minutes! I had read somewhere that Snyder wanted Crudup’s penis to be smaller on film so that the audience would pay attention to the other 99% of the visuals onscreen — I figure either that's true and was the director's choice, or maybe Billy was worried that his true colors would be exposed and less, er, vibrant than his fans expected. Either way, I asked him how comfortable he was with everyone watching his junk for about three hours. His response? He laughed and said three hours was "pretty good" for him.

Oh, and what did Matthew Goode/Ozymandias have to say about Billy's manhood? "NICE CO--!" he exclaimed, just before we finished the interview. Truly a golden moment of my career at MTV News.

Billy Crudup was a good sport when it came to dealing with my (perhaps inappropriate) questions — he had a really, really big ... sense of humor about it. And I appreciated that.

For more "Watchmen," goodies, plus first looks at "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" and "Star Trek," be sure to watch "Spoilers," Saturday at 8 p.m. on MTV.

I had a chance to sit down with another president — Bill Clinton. When I walked into his Harlem office, Bill said, "Hey, man, how are you doing?" It was like we were old pals!

The former commander in chief was in great spirits. He always seems to be in storytelling mode if you can spark his interest. He's very aware, very warm, very jovial and very genuine, all at the same time.

We had actually met before, in 2008 at the MTV/ Clinton Global Initiative event at the Apollo along with Shakira, Alicia Keys, Chris Rock and Bono. This time, the purpose of the interview was to talk about a film that MTV made about "Real World" star Pedro Zamora and his courageous fight to make the world more aware of HIV and AIDS.

The Comedian's blood-splattered smiley-face pin is one of the most iconic symbols in the comic book world, so when I hosted the latest "Watchmen" edition of our hit MTV Movies show "Spoilers" last night at the Pacific Design Centre in Los Angeles, I thought it would be a nice addition to my outfit.

After all, with the beautiful Kimmy Stolz co-hosting in a little green dress, I had to do a little something to hold my own — plus, I have to admit, wearing the Comedian's pin appealed to my geek side.

However, as it turns out, the "Watchmen" pin is not exactly the easiest thing to find in L.A.

For those of us who are anxiously counting down to Sunday's Oscars, there's something better than golden statues to look forward to: a good-old red-carpet showdown. The contenders? In one corner, the reigning champions: Brad Pitt and his baby mama, Angelina Jolie. In the other, Brad's ex Jennifer Aniston and her arm candy, John Mayer.

So which power couple's got the edge? Let's break it down.

Buzz: Both Brad and Angelina are nominated for Oscars, but since Mayer's quotes about being "an Oscar boyfriend" lit up the blogosphere last night, the anticipation of seeing Jen and John together seems to be all anyone can talk about.

The winners: Aniston and Mayer. Brangelina have ruled the red carpets for many awards seasons, but Janiston (Jayer? Johnnifer? This couple needs a moniker ASAP) have hype on their side.

Style: Brad's and Angelina's overt sex appeal has taken a backseat to the sophisticated, slightly more mature look they've been sporting lately. (Angie's gown at the SAG Awards was downright mother-of-the-bride.) Aniston will most likely go for something tight and youthful that screams "I'M OVER YOU." Read More...

Any fashion show that seamlessly combines ballet dancers, a performance by Kat DeLuna and hot models clad in sequins, ruffles and platform shoes cannot be bad. But when that fashion show has not only models but the likes of former Danity Kane member Aubrey O'Day and Pamela Anderson gracing the catwalk, it can only get better.

That's what Christina, Micaela, Mary and I got to experience last night at the Richie Rich show at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York. First we met up with Aubrey backstage, where she was getting made fabulous in hair and makeup. The backstage area could only be described as a hot mess of Richie Rich and his crew of scenesters, models, drag queens, Davis from "The Real World: Denver," Aubrey and us. Pamela was apparently getting beautified at an undisclosed locale in the hotel.

Take one graying former Smashing Pumpkins axman, a Hanson brother-turned-father, a 57-year-old Cheap Trick drummer and the Fountains of Wayne bassist, and what do you have?

Tinted Windows, the music world's latest, relatively head-scratching supergroup.

That's right — James Iha (Smashing Pumpkins), Bun E. Carlos (Cheap Trick), Adam Schlesinger (Fountains of Wayne) and Taylor Hanson have joined forces as the curiously named Windows. They even have a MySpace page, so it has to be legit.
