You know all that crazy talk about the real lives of the "Gossip Girl" cast? You know, how everyone says Blake Lively and Leighton Meester hate each other? Or how Leighton was born in jail?! Or that Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick are not only roommates, but also secret lovers?!?
Well, the cast assures you that what you hear is merely the work of some real-life gossip girls spinning half-truths and complete lies into fantastical tales about the cast. And in the new issue of Rolling Stone (in which a photo of the cast in bed is eerily similar to one from last year's New York magazine cover photos), the stars clear up some of those rumors.
Blake and Leighton hate each other: FALSE
"We're very close. We're friends," Meester told the magazine. "I can't even remember a reason why people would say we're not."
(Check out more rumors -- plus we've got photos of the cast from the new issue of Rolling Stone -- after the jump!)
Leighton was born in prison: FALSE
"She did serve part of her sentence while pregnant with me," Meester said of her mom, adding that she was transferred to a halfway house when the time came to give birth to the girl who would be Blair.
Taylor Momsen is only 15: TRUE
"It's a badass rock-and-roll record," the teen said about her upcoming album. "It's not what people are going to be expecting." We expect you to act 15, so you're probably right.
Ed and Chace are lovers: FALSE
"I love this dude," Ed told the magazine about the rumor, "but we are so into women it's ridiculous." Actually, Ed, that quote is ridiculous.
