About a month ago, the Internet was lit ablaze by a segment on "The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon" where former "Saved by the Bell" actor Mark-Paul Gosselaar appeared as his character Zack Morris, creating a hit viral video and keeping Fallon's dream of a full-scale "Saved by the Bell" reunion alive. Though the news of the reunion went quiet for a while, there are a few updates that answer some questions and raise even more.
First, there's the issue of the latest edition of People, which features a "Saved by the Bell" reunion on the cover. The magazine got together former castmates Gosselaar, Mario Lopez, Elizabeth Berkley, Tiffani Thiessen and Lark Voorhies to talk about their hair, their favorite show moments and how their lives changed since the end of the show. But how could People call it a reunion without any appearance from Dustin Diamond or Dennis Haskins? It wouldn't be Bayside without Screech and Mr. Belding, so the dream of a full reunion remains just that — a dream.
And it could stay that way for some time, because Thiesson is really, really busy. In a hilarious new clip that just premiered on the former Kelly Kapowski directly addressed her involvement with the reunion, and she comes to the conclusion that she's got a lot of stuff going on: She's directing a "live action cat comedy," working for NASA, knitting and sitting by her pool looking hot. All that leaves no time to get together with her old "SBTB" friends. Check out the hilarious video — featuring a great stinger — below.
