Well, he's done it again. Following up on his masterful performance on Monday night's "Tonight Show," William Shatner returned to Conan O'Brien's stage in Los Angeles to once again lambaste the words of former Alaska Governor and Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin. In Monday's segment, Shatner did dramatic readings of portions of Palin's jumbled farewell address. Last night, the "Star Trek" veteran and Emmy winner brought his best bohemian voice to Palin's Twitter. Like her speech, O'Brien assumed that Palin's tweets were simply poems in disguise.

On her exit, Palin promised that she would keep in touch with her fans and followers via the microblogging service, though she has yet to update her feed since exiting office. Still, her history of tweets provided plenty of fodder for Shatner and his accompanying bongo and bass players. "Tourists from across America/ Here loving their 49th state/ I'm reminded on heart, one hope, one destiny/ One flag from sea to sea," Shatner said, barely able to keep a straight face. In another, he intoned, "Awesome Alaska night/ Sensing summer already winding down/ With fireweed near full bloom/ Finally sitting down to pen/ Listening to Big and Rich." Palin's message isn't any clearer when delivered from the soothing throat of the original Captain Kirk, but it certainly becomes more entertaining.

In Conan O'Brien's still-nascent tenure on "The Tonight Show," Shatner has become something of a fixture and has taken part in some of the more memorable moments in the show's run. In addition to this week's dramatic poetry readings, he also sat down for an interview a few weeks ago where O'Brien chastised him for being unable to do the Vulcan peace sign (which earned the host a flip of the bird) and told a story about getting out of a speeding ticket while in his "Star Trek" costume.

Baltimore, Maryland has a lot of nicknames. B-More. Charm City. The City That Reads. Bodymore, Murderland. Monument City. The lively city has given the world Baltimore club music, former Vice President Spiro Agnew, David Byrne, Parker Posey, Pulitzer Prize-winning author Upton Sinclair and filmmaker John Waters, and it was officially established on this day in 1729. Perhaps the city's greatest cultural contribution (in this millennium, anyway) was providing a setting and inspiration for "The Wire," the shockingly gritty and realistic HBO series that portrayed the struggle between law enforcement, government and the drug lords who threaten everyday life. It was an incredibly complex, subtle show that built a remarkably deep tapestry of characters and locations that reflected Baltimore better than any piece of fiction has ever depicted a city (for better or worse, of course).

"The Wire" also contributed to the music world, relying a great deal on local musicians and rappers to provide the soundtrack for the show. It also employed a handful of people from the music world, including Felicia "Snoop" Pearson (who played a vaguely fictionalized version of herself) and the Wu-Tang Clan's own Method Man. Meth spent four seasons on the show as Melvin Wagstaff, Prop Joe's nephew who was known on the streets as "Cheese." It was the best performance in an excellent acting career for the rapper, who has also made memorable turns on HBO's "Oz," "CSI" and the Zach Braff film "Garden State." It's no wonder that Meth ended up being an excellent actor, as his rhymes have always been some of the most cinematic and character-driven in the entire Clan. Need proof? Check out his 1995 collaboration with Mary J. Blige "I'll Be There For You/ You're All I Need to Get By."

We always knew Madonna was a workout fiend, but we didn't know she worked out this much. In a new photo taken on Sunday in London, Madonna's arms seem to be looking a little too buff. Her veins are protruding and her biceps look somewhat misshapen, as though she has a monster from a science fiction movie growing in there, or she is training to fight UFC lightweight champion B.J. Penn (which wouldn't be entirely shocking considering the strange championship belt she was wearing on the cover of last year's excellent Hard Candy).

According to her personal trainer Tracy Anderson, Madonna works out two hours a day for six days a week and drinks coconut water to keep her energy levels high. Anderson told the U.K.'s sometimes dubious tabloid Daily Mail, "I have completely changed Madonna's body. I told her to forget everything she had been taught before and to give up yoga, which can make you look terribly veiny. Madonna's very healthy and looks fantastic but those veins have nothing to do with me."

Whether she got those seemingly zero-body-fat arms from doing too much yoga or going overtime in the gym with Anderson remains to be seen. But the Queen of Pop's arms weren't always so well-defined. Check out just how much she's changed throughout her three decades in the public eye.

(Check out the complete history of Madonna's biceps, from the early years right up to her current tour!)

"I had been to his place in Neverland. He wanted to do 'Spider-Man.' I'm not sure whether he just wanted to produce it or wanted to play the role ... Our conversation never got that far along."

-Comic book legend Stan Lee, speaking about his relationship with Michael Jackson at the 2009 San Diego Comic-Con. While with Marvel Comics, Lee co-created some of the most iconic super heroes in history, including the aforementioned Peter Parker, the Fantastic Four, Iron Man and the Hulk. Lee met Jackson several times over the course of his life — in fact, there was talk of Jackson and Lee going into business together and purchasing Marvel Comics when the company declared bankruptcy in the '90s. Jackson also had an extensive comic book collection. Of course, the "Spider-Man" films ended up being produced by Marvel's film arm and starred Tobey Maguire as the titular web-crawler.

About a month ago, the Internet was lit ablaze by a segment on "The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon" where former "Saved by the Bell" actor Mark-Paul Gosselaar appeared as his character Zack Morris, creating a hit viral video and keeping Fallon's dream of a full-scale "Saved by the Bell" reunion alive. Though the news of the reunion went quiet for a while, there are a few updates that answer some questions and raise even more.

First, there's the issue of the latest edition of People, which features a "Saved by the Bell" reunion on the cover. The magazine got together former castmates Gosselaar, Mario Lopez, Elizabeth Berkley, Tiffani Thiessen and Lark Voorhies to talk about their hair, their favorite show moments and how their lives changed since the end of the show. But how could People call it a reunion without any appearance from Dustin Diamond or Dennis Haskins? It wouldn't be Bayside without Screech and Mr. Belding, so the dream of a full reunion remains just that — a dream.

And it could stay that way for some time, because Thiesson is really, really busy. In a hilarious new clip that just premiered on the former Kelly Kapowski directly addressed her involvement with the reunion, and she comes to the conclusion that she's got a lot of stuff going on: She's directing a "live action cat comedy," working for NASA, knitting and sitting by her pool looking hot. All that leaves no time to get together with her old "SBTB" friends. Check out the hilarious video — featuring a great stinger — below.

It's a little late to the party, but there is one song making a stealth bid to become one of the best jams of the summer of 2009. Since it's debut two weeks ago, Shakira's "She Wolf" has been in constant rotation here in the Newsroom, mostly because nobody can seem to believe it when the Colombian singer bellows like a wild lupine every time the chorus comes around again. And the moment you start thinking, "This is way too wacky," the thing gets stuck in your head for days at a time.

The video for "She Wolf" premieres tomorrow, but MTV's Buzzworthy blog has a sneak peek of the clip. Shakira already told MTV News that the clip contains several actual wolves and finds her trapped inside a cage for most of it. She also explained exactly what a "She Wolf" is. "She-wolf is the woman at daytime and the animal at night," she told MTV News' Tim Kash. "She defends her freedom and her liberties and she does it with her teeth and claws, like a wild animal." According to the teaser clip and the still photo below, the she-wolf is also quite a gymnast.

Stay tuned to MTV News for more on Shakira's new video and her upcoming new album of the same name, and be sure to check out MTV News' RAW with Shakira, where she talks about wolves, Wyclef and Robert Pattinson.

What do you think: Does "She Wolf" make you howl with pleasure or pain? Leave your thoughts in the comments or head on over to Your.MTV.com to make your voice heard!

When police searched the offices and Las Vegas home of Michael Jackson's physician Dr. Conrad Murray on Tuesday, they were looking for medical records tied to the late singer and "all of his reported aliases."

According to authorities, the King of Pop may have used as many as 19 aliases in an attempt to obtain prescription drugs, a list that allegedly includes 19th century American author Jack London (best known for such popular novels as White Fang and The Call of the Wild) and legendary 20th century black expatriate singer/actress Josephine Baker, also known as "Black Pearl."

But he also reportedly chose a variety of other lesser-known pseudonyms, including the frequently used Omar Arnold and Michael Amir (the latter the name of one of his employees), as well as Paul Farance, Bryan Singleton and Jimmy Nicholas. According to a recent Rolling Stone story, Arnold was also a name Jackson used when making prank calls to Kenny Ortega, the director of his planned "This Is It" comeback tour. Jackson even appeared to use an adulterated version of one of his tormentors, Blanca Nicholas, from time to time. The name seems to be a play on Blanca Francia, a former maid who claimed that Jackson inappropriately touched her young son.

Other names on the list include Roselyn and Faheen Muhammad, as well as Frank Tyson, which may be a reference to the iconic British cricket player from the 1950s known as "Typhoon Tyson." While he seems to have cooked up the name Fernand Diaz, another alias, Kai Chase, is actually the name of one of the singer’s personal chefs.

But one alias hit even closer to home: Prince Jackson, a false handle that isn't really false at all, but rather the birth name of Jackson's oldest son.

Despite what "My Super Sweet 16" has told us, most Sweet 16 birthdays are low-key affairs: Dinner with the family, maybe get your driver's license or have a small gathering with friends. I should have known better when I was invited to Taylor Momsen's sixteenth birthday party that she would take it a huge step past the usual celebrations.

When we first walked into the Hiro Ballroom, we were quickly escorted backstage as friends and fans began trickling in. We saw Taylor sitting and her band the Pretty Reckless warming up with an acoustic version of Britney Spears' "...Baby One More Time." Her raspy voice resonated in the room, and I was quite shocked that such a mature sound was coming out of such a tiny body.

The biggest story in Hollywood right now is the "Twilight" series, and the biggest news within that series is this morning's news that "Spider-Man 3" and "The Village" star Bryce Dallas Howard would be taking on the role of Victoria starting in the franchise's third film "Eclipse." She replaces Rachelle Lefevre, a Canadian actress who scored her big breakout when she appeared in the first film. The Victoria character begins to beef up in the third film as she becomes a primary threat to Bella, and rumors are swirling about why the continuity has been changed — especially considering the two actresses bear a striking resemblance to one another.

So we hit the street to interrogate the "Twilight" enthusiasts who happened to be waiting to get in to see today's episode of "It's On with Alexa Chung." We asked: Is replacing Lefevre with Howard a good move for the future of the "Twilight" movies?

The hilariously unscientific results show us that it's a pretty even split, with 56 percent of respondents wishing that the move hadn't happened. The reasons why were pretty varied: Some fans were actually attached to Lefevre and thought she had done a good job with the character, while others thought that, despite their similarities, that Lefevre was the more attractive choice. Those who were fine with Bryce Dallas Howard cited her acting experience and her higher profile as justifications for the switch. Either way, we'll be hearing about the results soon, as "Eclipse" begins shooting in just a few weeks.

What do you think: Did Rachelle Lefevre get the shaft or will Bryce Dallas Howard do a better job sinking her teeth into the Victoria character? Leave you thoughts in the comments or head on over to Your.MTV.com to make your voice heard!
