Every day a multitude of stars wanders through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with our intrepid correspondents. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.
Now that Britney Spears' wildly successful Circus tour has wrapped up, she can take some time off to figure out what her next move is. In the meantime, she'll no doubt be celebrating Christmas with her family, and she stepped out last night in Beverly Hills to do a little holiday shopping. (As you can see, it was an unusually chilly day in southern California.) Spears is always roped into strange news stories, and her name was recently brought into the death of professional wrestler Edward Fatu (who competed under the ring name Umaga). The pair were both on the same flight from Australia back to the United States (Spears was returning from the end of the Circus tour, while Umaga was coming back from a tour of the country with Hulk Hogan). It wasn't the first time the two had crossed paths, as Umaga was involved in the wrestling show that featured Spears' ex-husband Kevin Federline back in late 2006.
Spears wasn't the only star engaging in commerce yesterday, as Jennifer Lopez browsed her way through a West Hollywood boutique and Diddy visited the New York Stock Exchange.
