Now that the late night landscape has calmed down a bit, it's back to the grind for everybody on the interview and performance scene. With the movie awards season still in full swing and the Grammys not yet fading in the rearview mirror, there are plenty of opportunities this week to catch your favorite stars on your favorite pre-bedtime shows.
The one that we're most excited about? Monday night's (February 1) guest appearance by New Kids on the Block on "The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon." (MTV News will be visiting the show today to get a few minutes to talk with both the host and the band). In fact, music fans of all colors and creeds will get something they love on Fallon's show this week, as he will also welcome Motion City Soundtrack on Tuesday (February 2) and Hot Chip on Thursday (February 4). There's also an eclectic music lineup over at "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" The host will have Lady Antebellum on Tuesday (which will also include an appearance by "Lost" producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse), Nick Jonas on Wednesday (February 3), the Bravery on Thursday and Barry Manilow on Friday (February 5).
Over on CBS, David Letterman returns to talk to Bruce Willis and Ne-Yo (Monday), Jamie Foxx (Thursday) and the always-charming the Swell Season (Friday). Meanwhile, arch-enemy Jay Leno will talk to Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday, which should be an interesting segment.
Daytime TV is a little weak this week, though Sarah Silverman on "The View" on Thursday should be good for a laugh or seven. Also, Rihanna is a guest on "Ellen" on Monday, which should not disappoint.
