Every day a multitude of stars wanders through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with our intrepid correspondents. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.
As MTV's own Deanna Caligiuri pointed out this morning, Super Bowl weekend is as much about the high-profile parties and concerts as it is about the football game. With all eyes on Miami over the weekend, some huge stars descended on the city to take in the sun, rub elbows with other luminaries and find a rooting interest in either the New Orleans Saints or the Indianapolis Colts. A handful of headliners even made it to the game itself, including Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, who escorted son Maddox to the big match-up (which of course saw the Saints prevail over the Colts by a score of 31-17). Fellow famous couple Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez were also at the game, while Ashton Kutcher (fresh off his hosting gig on "Saturday Night Live") and Demi Moore also attended.
In some events surrounding the big game, "New Moon" stars Taylor Lautner and Kellan Lutz both participated in the DirecTV Celebrity Beach Bowl on February 6, while Justin Bieber made the party rounds following his performance on the VH1 "Super Bowl Fan Jam." Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Cameron Diaz, the Black Eyed Peas, Chris Daughtry, Jessica Alba and Paris Hilton were also in Miami.
