Every day a multitude of stars wanders through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with our intrepid correspondents. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.
One of the greatest things about pop music is that it is universal. No matter what language the artist or fans speak, a good hook or a sweet melody will completely transcend the communication divide. Just look at the far-reaching success of Tokio Hotel, who became an international phenomenon well before they started singing in English. "American Idol" runner-up Adam Lambert's debut album For Your Entertainment contains a number of American and British rock influences, but he clearly speaks the boundary-free tongue that is a catchy chorus. Lambert took his show to Tokyo, Japan for a concert on Monday (March 15). He performed at the Japanese capital city's Club Eleven and spent some time interacting with fans all while wearing an impressive spike-adorned leather outfit and his signature makeup.
Lambert wasn't the only star rubbing elbows with the people, as "True Blood" stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer hung out in the sun in Santa Monica, California, while the stars of "Glee" gathered in Los Angeles for PaleyFest. Click here for these photos as well as the entire "Spotted!" archive, which features over 400 candid shots of stars like Britney Spears, Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers, Justin Bieber, Mariah Carey, Jay-Z, Rihanna, Kings of Leon, Shakira, Jessica Simpson, Pete Wentz, Miranda Cosgrove and Ludacris!
