Justin Bieber is a busy guy. This week alone, he has been on "The View" and will be on "The Late Show with David Letterman" tonight (March 23) and the Kids Choice Awards on Saturday (March 27). He'll be bowling tonight in celebration of the release of his new album My World 2.0, and he'll be embarking on a massive tour this summer (beginning June 23 in Hartford, Connecticut). And then there is his non-stop tweeting, which seems to infiltrate most of his waking hours.
That doesn't leave very much time to just hang out and, say, work on his basketball game. Luckily, it appears as though his skills on the court are on point.
That clip is from the upcoming special "The Diary of Justin Bieber," which will air this Sunday (March 28) at 7:30 p.m. on MTV.
Bieber's combination of ball handling skills, speed and deadly-accurate shooting remind us of a combination of three music-centric hoopsters.
Romeo Miller
Master P's son began his recording career when he was only 12 years old and scored a giant hit called "My Baby" in 2001. He continued to record for his dad's label, No Limit Records, but all the while was perfecting his roundball skills. In fact, he was good enough to earn a hoops scholarship to USC, where he currently plays.
Mookie Blaylock
Over the course of his career (his best years were with the Atlanta Hawks), Blaylock became known as an excellent ball handler, deft defensive player and killer three-point shooter. Bieber seems to share all of these traits (we imagine he'd rack up steals on unsuspecting opponents). What's Blaylock's musical connection? He helped inspire the dudes in Pearl Jam.
Steve Nash
Because they're both Canadian and have incredible heads of hair. Nash already received a star on Canada's Walk of Fame — something that Bieber seems destined for.
