Throughout his still-young career, Justin Bieber has met and conquered every challenge put before him. Topping the Billboard album chart? Done. Making memorable hit videos? Not a problem. Massive headlining arena tour? Taken care of. Singing for the President? Did that, too. But it's possible that Bieber will meet his greatest match later this summer when he appears on the ABC television show "Shaq Vs.," which pits NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal against other stars in various competitions to see if Shaq can be dominant in arenas outside of basketball.
In the show's first season, which aired last summer, O'Neal challenged Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, Olympic beach volleyball gold medalists Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh and boxer Oscar de la Hoya in competitions specific to their specialties. This time around, Shaq will engage in a competitive eating battle with recent Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest winner Joey Chestnut, race Dale Earnhardt Jr. and box welterweight slugger "Sugar" Shane Mosley. The new season premieres on August 3.
Sadly, Bieber will not be putting his impressive hoops skills to good use against O'Neal, as the two will actually go head-to-head in a dance-off (perhaps they'll re-enact the climactic scene from Bieber's "Baby" video). Though Shaq didn't win any of the challenges from the first season (he went 0-for-5, though he came closest to beating Roethlisberger), he could give Bieber a run for his money in a dance competition. That's why Bieber should turn to Aaron Carter for advice, best explained in Carter's tune "That's How I Beat Shaq."
