Even though the MTV Newsroom is still a little bit jet-lagged from last weekend's trips to Chicago for the launch of the Jonas Brothers' tour and for Lollpalooza, we still hit the ground running this week, delivering big stories about some of the most massive stars in pop music, including Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Weezer and Kanye West. There were also a number of other pop culture moments that made their way onto the blog. So before you fire up the barbecue, head to the cinema to see "The Expendables" or just sit in a hammock doing the Jumble, be sure to check out everything you might have missed on the MTV Newsroom Blog this week. And be sure to join us again on Monday, when we'll do it all over again.
