Apparently, Thanksgiving means one of two things for talk show hosts. Either you come back the week after the holiday with some top-shelf talent promoting all the biggest Oscar-bait movies and high-profile mid-season television premieres, or you take the week off to decompress from all that eating. David Letterman and Jimmy Fallon have both taken the latter path, while the rest of the field return with big shows. "The Tonight Show" will feature appearances by 2010 MTV Video Music Awards host Chelsea Handler (Tuesday, November 30), presidential hopeful Mitt Romney (Wednesday, December 1) and hilarious comedian Louis C.K. (Friday, December 3). Meanwhile, Jimmy Kimmel will say hello to Ben Affleck and Nicki Minaj (Monday, November 29), Magic Johnson (Tuesday) and former Hootie and the Blowfish frontman Darius Rucker (Thursday, December 2).
However, the real fireworks are on cable. "The Daily Show" will feature visits from "30 Rock" star Judah Friedlander (Monday) and Sting (Wednesday), while "The Colbert Report" will feature a chat with columnist and author Dan Savage (Monday). In addition to visiting "The Tonight Show," Chelsea Handler will have John Stamos (Monday), Flo Rida (Tuesday) and Cee-Lo Green (Wednesday) on her own show. Conan O'Brien will talk to fellow TBS family member George Lopez (Monday) as well as Charles Barkley (Tuesday), Tim Gunn (Wednesday) and the three Kardashian sisters (that's Kim, Kourtney and Khloe) and Deerhunter (Thursday).
The Kardashians will also be on Monday's episode of "The View" along with Susan Boyle. You should also tune in to "The View" for Bob Saget's appearance on Tuesday and David Hasselhoff's visit on Wednesday. The Kardashians will also be on "The Talk" on Thursday, which means that no matter where you look this week, you'll get a fix of America's favorite sisters (sorry, Tia and Tamara).
