Every day a multitude of stars wander through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with our intrepid correspondents. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.
Over the course of his long career, Foo Fighters founder Dave Grohl has been a giving and productive collaborator. He has tag-teamed with the likes of Queens of the Stone Age (Grohl played drums on their breakthrough LP Songs for the Deaf), Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister (they got together on Grohl's Probot project, which also brought Grohl together with a number of metal legends) and Tenacious D. His latest collaboration? He appeared on stage with the cast of wacky characters that make up "Yo Gabba Gabba," the hugely popular kids' television show that bridges the gap between learning, psychedelic comedy and the indie rock world. Grohl was one of several special guests at the Los Angeles stop for "Yo Gabba Gabba Live! There's a Party in My City" at the Nokia Theatre. Gwen Stefani, Kiss guitarist Paul Stanley and Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden were also in attendance for a show that no doubt thrilled kids and their parents alike.
Grohl wasn't the only star dancing in the spotlight, as Red Hot Chili Peppers members Anthony Kiedis and Flea sat and cheered the Los Angeles Lakers as they fell to the Indiana Pacers in a strange game and Justin Bieber made his way around Spain.
