"Yo, yo, yo. What's up? What's up, swag? Yo, what's up? I found the magic skull, swag. We can finally switch back to our original bodies, yo! ... I gotta get out of this [body] — it's like living in a haunted house!"
-Comedian and "The Daily Show" host Jon Stewart, speaking as Justin Bieber trapped inside his body. In the opening segment of Thursday night's (February 3) episode of the hit late night show, the lights came up on Bieber wearing Stewart's traditional dark suit. He began the show introducing himself as Stewart and began to ran through the show when he was interrupted by Stewart himself (who was wearing a purple sweatshirt and carrying a skull).
In the sketch that played out, Bieber-as-Stewart explained that the two had accidentally switched bodies, and now it was time to switch back. Stewart-as-Bieber initially resisted but eventually gave in, but not before he gave the most popular head of hair in the pop music world one more stroke. "It's just so natural!" he joked.
At the end of the bit, it was revealed that while Bieber was inhabiting Stewart's body, he left his mark in more ways than one, as he left a tattoo reading "#NeverSayNever" across the host's lower back.
The whole event was a funny, surprising plug for Bieber's film "Never Say Never," which just had its New York premiere and is set to hit theaters next Friday (February 11). The flick got the endorsement from Stewart. "Seriously though, you should go see the movie," he explained to the audience once the status quo had been restored. "It's actually quite good, not that I'm the target demographic, even though inside, I am a 10-year-old girl."
