Fans lucky enough to catch Dutch house music producer Afrojack on his recent series of dates in the United States may have noticed a new banger nestled in his just over two hour set. In fact, during his show at Pacha, one of New York's hottest night clubs, Afrojack introduced the joint as a hopeful crossover hit, following up on the success of "Take Over Control" (which featured a guest appearance by Eva Simmons) that performed solidly on American radio late last year.
We don't have any new details on the upcoming, much-buzzed-about tag-team between Tiësto and Afrojack (though he did confirm they do indeed have material in the can), nor is there any news about what is to come of his studio sessions with Steve Aoki and Omarion in Las Vegas. But Afrojack did give us an exclusive first listen to his as-yet-unnamed single while he chatted with MTV News via Skype last week. He has completed the song with space for a vocal, though he has not committed to adding one yet. He also hasn't decided if he's going to drop it soon or hold it in the bag for a big coming out party in Miami in March. Still, we hear potential for a big hit.
What do you guys think of the song? When do you think Afrojack should unleash the full finished track — now or in Miami? Tell us all your thoughts in the comments below, and stay tuned to MTV News for more updates from the dance music universe in the run-up to Miami!
