Apparently most of the late night talk show hosts don't want to miss a minute of any of the NCAA men's basketball conference championships this week, as just about everybody is off. (Or maybe they're just all on Spring Break?) In any case, you'll have to dig pretty deep to find fresh voices on the late night landscape (or just watch cable). "The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson" is the only network program running new material this week, so if you stay up a little later you'll be treated to the likes of Aaron Eckhart (Monday, March 7), Topher Grace (Tuesday, March 8th) and Amanda Peet (Friday, March 11).
For the rest of your fill of celebrity interviews and woozy comedy bits, you'll have to wander into the jungle that is cable. In addition to the usual blast of topical comedy, "The Daily Show" will feature visits by Aaron Eckhart (Wednesday, March 9) and "South Park" creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone (Thursday, March 10). Conan O'Brien will welcome Travis Barker (Monday), Gary Oldman (Tuesday), Pee-Wee Herman (Wednesday) and Seth Rogen and Lykke Li (Thursday) to some all-new episodes of "Conan," while "Lopez Tonight" will feature Lupe Fiasco (Wednesday) and another visit by Herman (Thursday).
(As an aside: If you haven't seen Conan O'Brien's real life version of "Angry Birds," you should check it out as soon as humanly possible.)
The lack of late night action means you can wake up a little earlier to catch some daytime shows, all of which are running fresh this week. "The View" will feature Russell Brand (Tuesday), Avril Lavigne (Wednesday) and Sarah Silverman (Friday), while "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" will welcome Paris Hilton (Monday), Mike Tyson (Tuesday) and Tyra Banks (Thursday).
