At 19-years old, Porter Robinson is already among the most explosive, versatile DJ-producers in electronic dance music. With banging tracks that range from electro house to dubstep to moombahton, Porter has come a long way since MTV News first met the then-18-year-old high schooler from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, with buddies Aero, Tommy Lee, Sofi and deadmau5 at Miami Music Week in March of this year. Since then, he’s dropped his stellar Spitfire EP and toured the U.S. with Tommy Lee, Aero and Skrillex. And when it came time for one of dance music’s biggest icons to hit college campuses across America this September, Porter was handpicked by Tiësto to join him on his "College Invasion Tour." Beyonce

Beyonce is one smart cookie.

Today, everyone is going a little crazy with the news that the pop star may be welcoming her baby with hubby Jay-Z a little earlier than everyone expected. In a YouTube clip from the set of her video for "Countdown," King Bey holds up the Sept. 23 edition of the New York Daily News and responds to its "Oh Baby!" headline by saying she is six months pregnant.

"Hello, it's Sept. 23. Oh baby! Oh baby! Oh baby! Oh baby! This was on the cover of the Daily News. Right now I'm actually shooting the video for 'Countdown' and I'm six months pregnant, pretending that my stomach is flat in body suits," the superstar says in the clip. "But thank god you can't really tell from the front, but when I turn to the side ... Oh baby! Oh baby!"

But wait! That would mean that she is due in mid-to-late December and not February, as was reported earlier during a sit-down interview with the star on Australia's "Sunday Night." That's a pretty dramatic shift in time! And it makes us wonder if Beyonce isn't maybe trying create a little bit of confusion around when she's actually due so she can give birth in peace. It's a totally understandable trick – Beyonce is notoriously private and unlike many modern celebrities, who quite literally invite cameras into the delivery room, our girl Bey has never been one to give in to the prying eyes of the press.

We've compiled a little evidence after the jump. Read More...

Now that Thanksgiving is over, Taylor Swift can now focus on her absolute favorite thing – Christmas! With her massive, special guest-heavy "Speak Now" world tour wrapped, Taylor can focus on the important things, like making homemade snow globes.

Yes! Swift posted a bunch of completely adorable pics to her Instragram feed with captions like, "Home made snow globes with friends. The whole fleet!" and "Christmas in a jar, with glitter."

Taylor is also ramping up her collaboration with American Greetings with a holiday collection includes collectible ornaments and Christmas cards. "The latest cards from Taylor are highlighted by her appealing casual writing style, inspiring photography, expressive hand lettering, and joyful designs that make every greeting memorable," an American Greetings press release wrinkled its nose and said. "This year's holiday collection features everything from festive scenes like stockings hanging on a mantle, beautifully wrapped packages, and elegant decorations to the small, charming joys of children catching falling snow and a deliciously warm cup of hot chocolate just begging for a little whipped cream."

But that's not all. The greeting card giant and the pop-country megastar are taking things even further with its "13 Days of Taylor" sweepstakes, which features 13 days of giveaways "inspired by the singer-songwriter's love of the season." The fun begins tomorrow and continues through Dec. 13, Taylor's birthday (squeal!), with three winners being selected randomly to receive gift packages that change daily but always include a copy of Swifts "Speak Now World Tour – Live" DVD. Fans can register now on American Greetings Facebook page.

Most music fans are aware that songbird of the year Adele is currently on the mend from vocal surgery after canceling her North American tour for a second time earlier this year. However, the singer is getting by in high-tech fashion, using a smartphone app to communicate.

The Sun reports that the British singer has a fancy new app that essentially reads messages aloud as she types them into her phone, which allows the star to still run errands while she’s on complete vocal rest.

A source revealed to the tabloid, “She’s been using the speaking app to buy coffee at Starbucks and order cabs. … It is far easier to communicate using it rather than writing everything down on paper and showing people.”

Adele is still recovering stateside in Boston, where she underwent vocal surgery earlier this month, and while vocal issues have been a setback, she’s still having an amazing year. Her album 21 continues to sell like crazy, recently topping 12 million units worldwide and easily on track for 13 million by the end of the holiday season. The album has spent an impressive 39 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart, where it has basically lived in the top five (it is currently No. 3) and spent more weeks at number one than any album since Santana's Supernatural in 2000. It is increasingly rare in today’s modern music world to see a band make it past the ten year mark. It’s even rarer to see a band do it while maintaining musical credibility. Case in point, Every Time I Die – a group of headbanging, enthusiastic Bills fans from Buffalo who feature some of the dirtiest, awesomest metal riffs you’ll ever hear and just so happen to throw the hottest damn concerts in town.

Every Time I Die started off with brothers Keith Buckley and Jordan Buckley on vocals and guitars, respectively, before adding Andy “Paul Bunyan” Williams as a second guitarist. Original drummer Mike “Ratboy” Novak handled sticks for the group from their 1998 inception until 2009 when Canadian Ryan Leger (a madman on the drums nicknamed “Legs”) replaced him. (Insert name here) has been with the group since… sorry, inside joke since the bassist position in ETID has been an eternally revolving door of musicians (they’re on number six or seven) most recently filled by the re-joining of Steve Micciche, who originally handled bass duties for the group from 2001-2005.

ETID are a cast of colorful characters – brothers Keith and Jordan operate two of our favorite Twitter feeds (entertaining as hell is all I can say) and they are some of the nicest guys you’ll ever be lucky enough to meet. Keith Buckley (who was once an English teacher) just oozes badass – he was sporting some bitchin’ snakeskin cowboy boots when I met him backstage at Warped Tour many moons ago (not to mention his name sounds destined for porn), and he has an onstage swagger matched by none in his music circles. If Jordan Buckley ever has an Oasis-style falling out with his brother, he will always have his insane art skills to fall back on. Much of his work is showcased through the band’s own album art and he also runs an online clothing store featuring a bevy of righteous T-shirts. And just forget about all of Andy’s tattoos – the guy is a giant teddy bear. Read More...

Getup Marriage Ad

By Damian Vaca

Over the weekend while many Americans enjoyed a tryptophan-induced nap and 5K turkey trots – our friends Down Under released a video that is on its way to getting worldwide attention. Late last week, the Australian non-profit organization Getup! Action for Australia, released the 2-minute video, which some are saying is hands down the greatest video supporting marriage equality that has ever been made. The clip, titled "It's Time," has already been viewed over 2.25 million times on YouTube.

Paul Mackay, Marriage Equality Campaigner for GetUp! Action for Australia, tells MTV News, "To say we’re surprised [by the attention this video is getting] is an understatement. When we were working on scripting, we knew the idea was good, and when we finished production we knew the video was good, but you never know how a piece of work will be received."

"We’re still aiming for a mention from Ellen and Gaga," he says, "but we’re pretty darn excited with what we’ve had so far."

"The scripting process started quite simply, by identifying key moments in any relationship: a meeting, a first date, sharing time with friends, moving in, meeting parents, obstacles and hardship and eventually, a proposal," Mackay says. "We were then able to draw those moments out, and since we were shooting on such a tight schedule and budget, had to make up a lot of it as we went. The end result meant that many of the most powerful reactions and scenes were unplanned, but simply the hard work of our director of photography and leading man identifying casual moments that could be captured as they arose. We ended up shooting the entire thing over a weekend then spending a similar amount of time picking out the best moments. And we couldn’t be more proud of the result."

Britney Spears

It's time for the Britney Spears Tournament: 30 Videos for 30 Years, MTV News' celebration of all things Britney to honor the pop star's 30th birthday! In the lead up to the big day, we're asking you, Brit's most loyal fans, to help us decide which video from her legendary career is your favorite by participating in a winner-take-all tournament. MTV News' resident Britney experts assigned 30 of Britney's videos seeds and put them up against one another in a series of single-elimination match-ups. Fan voting will determine which of her amazing clips is named the fan-favorite. So vote now and vote often for your favorite video. The winner will be announced on December 2 – Britney's 30th birthday!

Man, you Britney fans are a surprising bunch!

We've pretty much given up trying to forecast the outcome of MTV News' Britney Spears Tournament: 30 Videos For 30 Years because as we go into the Final Four things look nothing like we expected … with one notable exception!

From the beginning, we had a feeling "I'm A Slave 4 U" would be one of the clips to survive the intense competition and we were right. The sexy clip marked a major transition in the Princess of Pop's career as she moved away from the wholesome image she'd carved out with her first two albums, …Baby One More Time and Oops! I Did It Again, and moved into more adult territory with her third album, Britney, and was one of her biggest "TRL" hits.

The other remaining videos indicate fans' affection for Britney Spears: Version 2011. Early on, we thought nostalgia would rule the day and her older videos would dominate the competition. That hasn't been the case as newer clips have proven themselves to be Britney fan favorites. So much so that two of the final four videos come from her most recent album, Femme Fatale. One of the biggest surprises of the whole competition – as far as the Britney experts here in the MTV Newsroom are concerned – has been the incredibly strong performance of Brit's latest clip "Criminal." It's a great video (and we know she loves it), but we are shocked that such a recent clip has destroyed Britney classics like "Baby" and "Stronger" to make it to the final four.

It's getting down to the wire and we only have three days and two rounds to go until Britney's big day. Our winner will be determined on Friday, Dec. 2 – Britney's 30th birthday! Cast your vote now through tomorrow, Dec. 1 at 7AM in the Final Four showdown after the jump. Read More...

Howie D wants someone, really anyone, to lie to him in his new video for "Lie To Me." His latest single off his first-ever solo album, Back to Me, is a sweepingly romantic song about heartbreak and loss.

The video follows Howie as he shoots a music video (how meta!), while also trying to reconnect with the woman he thought he'd spend forever with. The look and vibe of the video sort of reminds us of the classic Backstreet Boys video "Shape of My Heart."

The song and video was a long time coming for the Backstreet Boy, who recently chatted with MTV News about the album, which dropped earlier this month. "I started working on this record a little over five years ago. ... I really felt like I wanted to make sure it was the right record," he explained. "I didn't want to rush something out there. I believe that first impression can be the last impression, and the last thing I wanted to do was have people be like, 'Oh, wow, he should be in that box.'"

And if the song and video are vaguely reminiscient of something BSB would have cooked up, well, Howie thinks that's just fine. Read More...

The always-controversial Miley Cyrus found herself in some hot water again when a video surfaced of the star, at her 19th birthday party, telling her pals (including Kelly Osbourne), "You know you're a stoner when friends make you a Bob Marley cake—you know you smoke way too much f***in' weed.”

That comment quickly spread across the Internet like a wild fire and once again reminded everyone that Miley may always be Disney’s baddest girl. As everyone woke from their turkey comas on Monday and headed back to work or school or whatever people do on Mondays, Miley decided to address the situation on Twitter.

"Please stop bombarding my friends twitter pages with rude comments. NOTHING gives you the right to threaten people. I love u @MissKellyO," she wrote, shouting out her "So Undercover" co-star, who had already taken to Twitter to defend the pop star.

"Let me make something very clear after @MileyCyrus salvia incident we started calling her bob miley as a JOKE! the cake was also A JOKE! it makes me sick that @MileyCyrus so called 'friends' would sell her out and lead people 2 believe she is someone that she is not!" she explained. "u guys if @MileyCyrus is not recording/filming/touring she is works everyday how could she possible do all that if she was a stoner! #think."

Apparently the Tweeters of the world didn’t think too much, and began bombarding Kells with "rude comments," as Miley put it. The bottom line, according to Miley’s rep, is that it was all meant in good fun. Read More...

We are now in the third round of the competition in our Britney Spears Tournament: 30 Videos for 30 Years! From now until Friday, Dec. 2, 30 of Britney Spears’ hottest, sexiest and most iconic videos are battling it out for the title of the Best Britney Video of All Time. We know that this is not an easy decision to make, which is why we are here to help! We will be taking a look back at several of Ms. Spears’ videos throughout the years to get insight from directors, set visits and Britney herself.

Next up is Britney’s video for “Toxic.” In probably the fiercest match-up of the competition, “Toxic” will try to edge out “I’m a Slave 4 U” for a spot in the final four.

"Toxic" has become one of Britney’s most recognizable videos and had her teaming up, yet again, with "Stronger" and "Womanizer" director Joseph Kahn. "The plot is pretty nonsensical," Joseph told MTV News of "Toxic" in 2009. "It's just fun. [It's like] James Bond flicks and sex."

"Toxic," which was the second single off Britney’s 2003 album In the Zone and scored Spears a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording, shows off the singers sexy side as a secret agent in disguise. "It's basically about a girl addicted to a guy," Britney told MTV in 2003. "I really like 'Toxic.' It's an upbeat song. It's really different, that's why I like it so much. This villain girl, she'll do anything to get what she wants. She goes through different obstacles."

Probably the most challenging obstacle of them all was just how Director Joseph Kahn was going to pull off Britney’s biggest request. Read More...
