Every day a multitude of stars wanders through the halls of MTV News to talk about their latest projects and goof around with our intrepid correspondents. But sometimes we catch stars elsewhere, and that's why we put together Spotted!, a daily compendium of stars in the wild.

Kelly Osbourne has been keeping herself pretty busy lately: She got engaged to fashion model Luke Worrall and has been pushing herself on the current season of "Dancing with the Stars." In fact, she's been pushing herself so hard that she managed to hurt herself during rehearsals for last week's show. But she managed to right herself on last night's show, where she danced with confidence and scored a 25 out of 40, which should keep her around for at least another week or two. That's good news for Osbourne, because it'd be a real bummer to get eliminated on her birthday (which is today). She celebrated turning 25 last night with Worrall and her "Dancing with the Stars" castmates.

She wasn't the only one partying last night, as Lindsay Lohan stepped out to Vibiana in Los Angeles for a festive evening and the Madden brothers from Good Charlotte celebrated at a BlackBerry event in Sydney, Australia. Click here for these photos as well as the entire "Spotted!" archive, which features nearly 400 candid shots of Britney Spears, Beyoncé, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Janet Jackson, Katy Perry, the Jonas Brothers and Adam Lambert!

Growing up watching MTV, I was always a big fan of the show "Making The Video." (Favorite episodes: Blink-182's "All The Small Things" and Lindsay Lohan's "Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father)" — so tragic!) Now that I work at MTV and I get to visit the sets of music videos, it's always a real exciting coup.

On Sunday, fellow MTV Newsfolk Lisa Millstein, Saimon Kos and I headed to the SubMercer to check in on Leighton Meester and Robin Thicke's video for Meester's debut single "Somebody to Love." It may not be a Queen cover, but it's some great pop music. (If it played at my little cousin's Bat Mitzvah, I'd be on the dance floor in a big way.) The premise of the video involved Leighton trying to find — you guessed it — somebody to love. Thicke shows up at a hotel, in a crowded club and on the street looking to love her. I'll keep it vague, as it'll be out soon.

More importantly: Costumes. Thicke was wearing a really well-tailored black suit made out of an unconventional-looking material (it looked like hammered silk). When I further pressed him on what his suit was made of, he explained that it was the skin of an exotic land and sea animal (he was kidding). But Leighton was totally wearing animal: a short, black leather dress with buttons going up the back and a pair of 99-inch silver Galliano heels that wrapped around her leg. I feel like she cheated death with every step she took.

Elaborate music videos take a long time to shoot, and there is a lot of "hurry up and wait." That's a lot of what we did while waiting to grab some footage. However, there's something to be said about what happens when they do start to roll camera, as you're watching television magic happen!

It's worth noting that one of the coolest women who every smart girl needs to look up to, Zoe Cassavetes, directed the video. She's Sofia Coppola's BFF, and together they starred in "Ciao, LA" (also featuring three guys "from the hit series 'Sabotage'"). So, Zoe, if you're reading this, I'm a really big fan. And when I apologized because I accidentally knocked my bag into your side, I totally froze up and couldn't tell you why.

Since he first dropped his debut album in 1996, Jay-Z became an instant classic on the hip-hop scene. Now that he is about to drop his 11th album The Blueprint 3, MTV News takes a look back at the history of one of the greatest artists in rap history with The J to Z of Jay-Z.

It seems that Jay-Z might be addicted to something. Or at least that's the impression he leaves from his performance of "I Know" on VH1's "Storytellers" back in 2007. Jay explains that the track, which originally appeared on Jigga's soundtrack to the Ridley Scott film "American Gangster" from the same year, deals with the different levels of addiction. Whether the song speaks to the drug addict or the compulsive shopper or the grinding gangster addicted to the lifestyle, Jay-Z understands and knows the feeling and has stories to tell.

On this episode of "Storytellers," Hova unveils the story behind each song and the album as a whole, "from genesis to the rise to the demise" of a young hustler. Though the album was inspired by stories about Harlem drug lord Frank Lucas (the focus of the film), it's easy to draw parallels to a young Jay-Z, who has often talked about his dalliances with hustling. His performance of "I Know" marks the climax of the rise just before the demise.

Check out Jay-Z on stage performing the instant classic "I Know," and watch as he goes too far with a Lindsay Lohan joke and deals with his own form of addiction.

Today marks the release of Madonna's newest video, and by some count it may be her 70th — yes 70th — music video since the beginning of her career. And even though her new clip for "Celebration" isn't particularly noteworthy or interesting (air-humping in front of a backdrop again, Madge?), you have to toast Madonna for her incredible feat.

So in honor of Madonna's extensive videography, MTV News decided to dust off an old pilot of mine that never got off the ground. It's called the "Video Safari," and it's probably the most bizarre thing MTV has ever let me try. (And considering I produced this, and this and a TV show in which a giant Suri Cruise cardboard cutout came to life to save me from a suicide attempt, that's saying a lot.)

But first, some backstory.

In early 2007, an MTV bigwig approached me to brainstorm some creative ways to present an artist's videography that he could include in the then-new show "FNMTV." My trusty cohort CJ Smith and I came up with a bunch of ideas, one of which was this "Video Safari" treatment. We liked how old-school MTV it felt, from the oddball costume to the public-access green screen.

Unfortunately, the brass at MTV despised it. Our silly segment just didn't fit in with the super-slick, highly-produced, expensive-looking TV show they were making, so "Video Safari" was left to collect dust in the MTV library. Until today!

So check out this oddity from the MTV vault. Yep, it looks like it cost $15 to produce, and it's out-of-date since it was produced before Hard Candy came out in stores, but we still have an affection for it around these parts and I'm happy it’s getting seen by a couple of eyeballs today.

Fun fact: We produced this at the same time that I was having a complete and utter mental breakdown! I was recapping the seventh season of "American Idol" and the fifth season of "Project Runway" at the same time. I was averaging about three hours of sleep a night and about three triple espressos an hour. I literally lost 15 pounds in two weeks, and we had to push back shooting once because I was so delirious and dysfunctional. If you look closely, you can see how dead my eyes look in this video (just like Lindsay Lohan in her "I Know Who Killed Me" era!). Crazy, right?

The Jonas Brothers sure know how to draw a crowd. The boys headed to Toronto, Canada, to tape a live interview with MuchMusic before their concert at the Rogers Centre. Thousands of screaming fans flooded the streets around the MuchMusic headquarters to catch a glimpse of the boy band. Elsewhere in Canada, "Twilight" stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Ashley Greene were spotted on the set of "Eclipse" in Vancouver. Meanwhile, after performing a sold-out show at the Hollywood Palladium this weekend, Katy Perry had time to stop and take photos with her fans — one of whom looked just like the pop star herself!

Click here to check out all the photos in their full-sized glory, as well as more photos of other celebs we spotted this weekend, like Amber Rose, Ashton Kutcher, the Kardashian sisters, Victoria and David Beckham, Jon Gosselin, and Lindsay Lohan.

It's a little bit strange to think about, but "Weird Al" Yankovic has been scoring hits with song parodies for nearly 30 years. How has he managed to maintain a full career while other novelty songwriters fall by the wayside? He kept ahead of the game and stayed incredibly sharp. His commentary remains clever and biting, and he has been drifting away from parodying actual songs ("Smells Like Nirvana" and "Amish Paradise," for example) and getting into stuff that mocks things stylistically. (Not that he hasn't completely given up attacking specific tunes — his "Trapped in the Drive Thru," a fun-poker at R. Kelly's "Trapped in the Closet," was brilliant.)

His latest work is an Internet-only EP called Internet Leaks, which collects five singles Yanokovic has dropped in the past year. There's the Doors parody ("Craigslist"), a tribute to actor Charles Nelson Reilly ("CNR") and a sharp play on art school ("Skipper Dan"). The newest single is called "Ringtone," which is about people who have terrible taste in phone-related music. The video is an especially cool animated adventure that features a bunch of cartoon celebrity cameos. Can you spot them all?

I found Sean Connery, Jonah Hill, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Perez Hilton, Owen Wilson, Diddy, Shaquille O'Neal, David Hasselhoff, Tom Cruise, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Clint Eastwood, Sylvester Stallone, Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Tom Hanks, Ice-T and Spedi. Did I miss anybody? Leave your other observations in the comments below. The EP is available on iTunes and is the first collection of new music since Al's Grammy-nominated Straight Outta Lynwood, which spawned the hit "White and Nerdy."

The summer movie season has more or less wrapped up (though this weekend's double dose of horror in the form of "Halloween II" and "The Final Destination" will certainly be getting my hard-earned dollars), so it's time to pick the winners and losers of the season. The clear top choice, at least in my eyes? "Star Trek." The iconic series got an almost-perfect reset at the beginning of the summer, owed primarily to the pitch-perfect performances from Zachary Quinto (Spock) and Chris Pine (Kirk). The latter celebrates his 29th birthday today. The actor was previously best known as the love interests of Lindsay Lohan and Anne Hathaway in "Just My Luck" and "The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement," respectively. But "Star Trek" represents his true breakout role, as he managed to capture the quick-thinking swagger of the Captain Kirk character, first established by cult legend William Shatner in the original television series. Up next for Pine? Outside of an assumed "Star Trek" sequel down the line, he'll star in the Tony Scott-directed action film "Unstoppable," which also stars Denzel Washington and is scheduled to hit cinemas late next year.

What better way to celebrate the birth of Hollywood's latest space star than with A Flock of Seagulls' "Space Age Love Song"? The band always did seem like they came from another planet anyway — especially considering frontman Mike Score's hair.

Times are tough for Lindsay Lohan. Her big film comeback was relegated to the ABC Family cable network, and now she's got security problems. Over the weekend, her Hollywood Hills home was broken into, and she was robbed of multiple fashion accessories and a safe that was ripped clean out of a wall. This was the second such incident in a year for Lohan, who shuttles between Los Angeles and New York regularly. Now it looks like her neighbors are banding together to try to get her to move out of the area, as they now consider her a security risk and that the narrow street creates a traffic hazard for the other members of the neighborhood. According to Perez Hilton, Lohan is actually planning on moving out. It seems a bit harsh to pile onto the star considering the break-in was no fault of her own, but the traffic and security issues are legit.

But what would you do? We hit the street in Times Square to talk to some people (including a number of Colbie Caillat fans waiting to get into today's episode of "It's On with Alexa Chung") and ask them what they thought of the Lohan situation, and if they would drive Lohan away if they lived in her 'hood.

The fantastically unscientific results are in, and it's a relatively even split for Lindsay, with 56 percent of the respondents saying they would give her the boot. They cited her penchant for partying as the biggest issue that stuck in their collective craw, though at least a few people just didn't like her work. As for those 44 percent who would support her right to stay where she wanted, they preferred the "celebrities are humans too" argument, with at least one person saying that she was allowed to stay as long as she got invited over for a party.

Her return to movies was less than triumphant, but it seems that nothing can stop Lindsay Lohan, who recently took some time out to do some shopping in West Hollywood. Though the actress and singer spends a lot less time in the spotlight these days, that doesn't mean she's just kicking back living a life of leisure. She just launched a production company that she's calling "Unforgettable" (current projects include a reality show and a dating game show), will appear in the upcoming season of TV's "Project Runway" and has been cast in three upcoming movies. With all that going on, she could use a sugar and caffeine fix. Jay-Z had a big day yesterday: Not only was the MC nominated for a pair of MTV Video Music Awards, but he also spent time in Brooklyn shooting a commercial with legendary film director Spike Lee. Jigga hung out in the DUMBO section of the borough where he grew up to shoot a new commercial for his Rocawear clothing line. While hanging out at the shoot, Jay talked to MTV News about the album cover for The Blueprint 3 and shared some more details about what is fast becoming one of the most hotly-anticipated releases in years. Check out our behind-the-scenes look at the shoot and also follow the link below to see who else MTV News spotted, including Shakira, Lindsay Lohan and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz.
