A lot happens in Lady Gaga's "Marry the Night" video. She goes crazy AND goes to a crazy house, is a ballerina (OBVS!), practices a "Fame"-esque dance routine (ALSO OBVS!), dances on cars, gets her dreams destroyed and then resurrects herself as a pop star like the phoenix that she is. By the way, she says it's all a metaphor for events in her own life (like when she was dropped from Island/Def Jam and then signed to Interscope and became an internationally renowned pop superstar).

In the sea of everything that happens in the video (AND EVERYTHING HAPPENS IN THIS VIDEO), Gaga’s breakdown, which is simultaneously tragic, bizarre and comical, happens to be a standout moment. It all goes down shortly after her ballet director tells her she should just quit. With her dreams dashed, she goes bonkers. She’s naked! She’s smooshing Cheerios all over her body! She’s naked, in a bathtub, dying her hair! She pretty much just doesn’t care anymore because, really, what’s the point!?!?

We won’t spoil it too much for anyone who hasn’t seen it, but post-meltdown it all works out for Mother Monster. She also bedazzles some denim. So that kind of rocks. The video was shot in New York City last month. It’s the first time the singer has helmed a clip solo. While the video serves as a "Dear John" letter to the darker moments that shaped her as an artist, the song is a love letter to the Big Apple.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand: Still Married, Perpetually, According To Him

Katy Perry and Russell Brand can’t seem to shake off those divorce rumors. In a new chat with Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show (airing Friday), the British funnyman is hoping to shut everyone up once and for all by explicitly saying he’s not getting divorced from his wife of one year.

"There are always rumors, aren't there? In the end you have to just not engage with Internet technology, which is difficult because a lot of the nude women websites I quite enjoy,” he joked, before going on to pledge his undying love for his pop star wifey.

"I've treated the whole Internet now like it's a wicked little liar. Yeah. I am really happily married,” he added. “I'm married to Katy. Perpetually, until death do us part was the pledge."

Russell’s comments come just one day (YES, THAT WAS ONLY YESTERDAY) after Grammy-nominee Ms. Perry (or Mrs. Brand, depending on how you view things) took to Twitter to slam all that split chatter. “First I'm pregnant & then I'm divorced. Hanson Set To Brew 'MMMbop'-Themed Beer ... Yes, You Read That Right

Hanson has a new venture they are getting ready to unleash onto the world. Having found success with their breakthrough, still-catchy pop tune “MMMBop” back in the '90s, the brothers are hoping to find a whole new brand of success in the new millennium with their own beer, the aptly titled “MMMHop.” (Oh! Puns!)

Rolling Stone reports that the beer, described as “an Indian Pale Ale,” will hit shelves in early 2012. "We are soon going to be selling our own beer, I'm not even joking. MMMHop IPA, anyone?" Zac Hanson told reporters at Oxford University Union in Oxford, England, on Monday, of the new project. "We of course make records, they are fundamental to what we do, but we wanted to create a brand so that our fans have a greater experience. What is vital is that Hanson merchandise is quality and not made solely with the purpose of profit. It's vital our fans have trust in everything Hanson do. "

Grammy Nominee Katy Perry Denies She's Getting Divorced, OK, Y'all!?

Remember last week when Katy Perry was rumored to be pregnant and it turns out she was just bloated? Well, this week, it seems, Ms. Perry is getting a divorce from her hubby Russell Brand. (But, she isn’t, obviously.)

Ok, so here’s how it shakes out. According to E! News, the Internet began speculating that the pop star and her funny man were going their separate ways when a report surfaced on TMZ that the twosome were looking to be onesomes in the near future. TMZ leader Harvey Levin denied that a report like that ever existed on his site.

Regardless, it seems that the rumor picked up enough steam for Katy to address it on Twitter. “First I'm pregnant & then I'm divorced. What am I All My Children?! #ericakane #pshhh #ifihadadollarforeverytime ...” she tweeted, displaying her signature sense of humor and sass. Read More...

Video Premiere: 'Lie To Me' By Howie D

Howie D wants someone, really anyone, to lie to him in his new video for "Lie To Me." His latest single off his first-ever solo album, Back to Me, is a sweepingly romantic song about heartbreak and loss.

The video follows Howie as he shoots a music video (how meta!), while also trying to reconnect with the woman he thought he'd spend forever with. The look and vibe of the video sort of reminds us of the classic Backstreet Boys video "Shape of My Heart."

The song and video was a long time coming for the Backstreet Boy, who recently chatted with MTV News about the album, which dropped earlier this month. "I started working on this record a little over five years ago. ... I really felt like I wanted to make sure it was the right record," he explained. "I didn't want to rush something out there. I believe that first impression can be the last impression, and the last thing I wanted to do was have people be like, 'Oh, wow, he should be in that box.'"

And if the song and video are vaguely reminiscient of something BSB would have cooked up, well, Howie thinks that's just fine. Read More...

Miley Cyrus Tells Twitter To 'Stop Bombarding My Friends' Post 'Stoner' Video

The always-controversial Miley Cyrus found herself in some hot water again when a video surfaced of the star, at her 19th birthday party, telling her pals (including Kelly Osbourne), "You know you're a stoner when friends make you a Bob Marley cake—you know you smoke way too much f***in' weed.”

That comment quickly spread across the Internet like a wild fire and once again reminded everyone that Miley may always be Disney’s baddest girl. As everyone woke from their turkey comas on Monday and headed back to work or school or whatever people do on Mondays, Miley decided to address the situation on Twitter.

"Please stop bombarding my friends twitter pages with rude comments. NOTHING gives you the right to threaten people. I love u @MissKellyO," she wrote, shouting out her "So Undercover" co-star, who had already taken to Twitter to defend the pop star.

"Let me make something very clear after @MileyCyrus salvia incident we started calling her bob miley as a JOKE! the cake was also A JOKE! it makes me sick that @MileyCyrus so called 'friends' would sell her out and lead people 2 believe she is someone that she is not!" she explained. "u guys if @MileyCyrus is not recording/filming/touring she is works everyday how could she possible do all that if she was a stoner! #think."

Apparently the Tweeters of the world didn’t think too much, and began bombarding Kells with "rude comments," as Miley put it. The bottom line, according to Miley’s rep, is that it was all meant in good fun. Read More...

Lady Gaga Talks About Boys, Heartbreak In Vanity Fair

Maybe Lady Gaga should just stick to marrying the night. In the latest issue of Vanity Fair, Mother Monster opens up about her sometimes contentious relationships with the men in her life.

Despite being beloved by millions of fans, Gaga admits, “I have never felt truly cherished by a lover. I have an inability to know what happiness feels like with a man.” That’s a pretty deep revelation from a pop star to admit during a magazine chat. Gaga was in an on-again, off-again relationship with New York City bartender Luc Carl before it ended earlier this year and has recently been linked to “Vampire Diaries” hottie Taylor Kinney, who co-starred in her “You and I” video, but says her best and healthiest relationship is with her Little Monsters.

“I say this honestly, and this is my new thing as of the past year: when I fight with someone I’m in a relationship with, I think, ‘What would my fans think if they knew this was happening? How would they feel about my work and about me as a female if they knew I was allowing this to go on?’ And then I get out,” she said, noting that her fans have “saved me from myself… I only know the happiness of putting a smile on someone’s face from the stage.”

Admitting that she tends to date creative types, she says her own creativity gets in the way.

A Recent History Of Katy Perry's Pregnancy Denials

We have one thing in common with Katy Perry. That’s a hard statement to make given the fact that she is a chart-topping international pop superstar and we are not. That one thing? Well, we both really like food. Now, this is where we stop having anything in common. You see when Katy packs on a few extra pounds the world assumes she’s pregnant. When we do it, the world (or like 2 people) just assume we’ve gained some weight.

Over the course of the last few months, Perry has been pretty adamant that any bumps anyone is seeing on her have more to do with her diet than her plans to expand her family. Back in October, during a tour stop in London, the singer told the packed room, "I didn't know if I was going to be able to show up tonight. I'm not rubbing my belly because I'm pregnant, I'm rubbing because I ate beans on toast. You were going to need a crane to lift my arse in here."

She once again had everyone talking at this weekend's American Music Awards, where some people thought she looked a little like she was in the family way. However, she once again cleared up that she’s only carrying food in her belly.

"Hell, no!" was her response to Hollyscoop, PEOPLE reports. The site further reports that she added to “The Insider” that "I like In-N-Out Burger and Taco Bell and if you want to make that pregnant that's your problem. I still love drinking alcohol so not yet."

Still not convinced that she and Russell Brand aren’t expecting? Reportedly at a NYC tour stop last week, she said that her "bloated belly" was a symptom of NYC’s “delicious food.” Read More...

Rob Kardashian: The Only Kardashian With A Skill?

Tonight someone will win the mirror ball trophy on “Dancing With The Stars.” Given the fact that the judges are loving Rob Kardashian and he’s in the final three (along with talk show host Ricki Lake and soap actor JR Martinez), the lone brother in the Kardashian Klan could end up winning the whole thing.

At this point, he’s pretty much the most well-liked Kardashian. Kim sort of ruined her good will with the public once she announced her split from Kris Humphries and perhaps the world is just tired of Kourtney and Khloe’s shenanigans. Rob has done what his sisters couldn’t: he’s earning headlines for actually doing something, not someone.

Over the course of the show, Rob has acquired a skill. He can now ballroom dance, making him, quite possibly, the only Kardashian with an actual talent. Since the Kardashians launched themselves as international sensations, the big question has also been: What exactly do they do? Sure they attach themselves to lots of brands, launching themselves as a brand as well, but, well, that really doesn’t mean much. Rob, on the other hand, joined “DWTS” and now he can dance. We mean, he may not do anything with it once the show wraps tonight, but he can. And, well, at least that’s something.
