Frankie Jonas took some of us MTV News-ers costume shopping in preparation for the spookiest day of the year, Halloween. We all headed over to Abracadabra costume shop here in NYC, where the Bonus Jonas himself weighed in on the two costumes he's thinking of wearing this year.

"I chose the zombie because I was a zombie for two years in a row ... zombies they're like the full on, everyone loves a zombie," the "R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour: The Series" star explained. "Zombies are the base of Halloween 'cause you get dead, you get living and you get creepy."

"I like Chucky because it's really, like no offense to Chucky, but he's kind of cheesy," the 11-year-old continued. "But that's what I like about him. I love old cheesy horror movies. I love horror movies. My two favorites are probably 'Sweeney Todd' and the original 'Nightmare on Elm Street.'"

If, as they say, three's a trend, then we are knee-deep in one, folks. As hip-hop stars and pop stars continue to choose to work with one another, the two types of music continue to meld, mashing things up and making genre a thing of the past.

With everyone from Joe Jonas and Justin Bieber to Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift all embracing hip-hop, the guys on the other end of things are also getting on board with the shift. Drake, Kanye West, T.I., Nicki Minaj and Tyler, The Creator are all jumping at the chance to work with these performers.

No longer is it taboo to crossover; in fact, it's kind of cool to give shine to other genres. Sure, there's already been a lot of cool collabos banked, but it got us wondering who we might want to see hit the studio together next.

We came up with a few suggestions and now it's your turn to tell us if we got it right. Vote below to tell us which collabo you'd most like to see!

Did we miss anyone? Let us know in the comments!

Beyonce

Beyonce is set to drop her live DVD special "Live At Roseland" on November 21. Filmed over four nights in August, the special will take fans right inside the venue for B's intimate string of sold out shows in New York City. Not many had the chance to see it for themselves, so this is a nice holiday treat from the expectant singer.

We got the chance to be there (you're so jealous, aren't you?) and since the night remains ingrained on our memories forever, we decided to share the few moments you should be most excited to see once it drops. Read More...

Beyonce dropped her candy-coated, trailer park party-themed video for "Party" last night, and while she switched out Andre 3000 for J. Cole, we have to say the cheeky clip didn't disappoint.

Beyonce kicked off her 4 era with the hard, dystopian video for "Run The World (Girls)" but her more recent clips for "Love on Top," "Countdown" and now "Party" have proven more lighthearted and fun. In "party," the colorful couture fashions, the summer BBQ vibe and the celeb cameos (hey there Solange and Kelly Rowland! But, wait, where are you Kanye?) really recall the summery vibe of R&B videos from the '90s. Its' happy! It's sexy! It's cool! … It's crazy, sexy, cool. See what we did there? Shout out to TLC.

While much of Beyonce's Alan Ferguson-directed "Party" video is certainly a big, well, par-tay, the key scene really comes close to the end of the video. What stands out most to us is when her Destiny's Child sibling Kelly Rowland appears, dancing side by side with her bestie. Sure, B's real sister is also in the clip doing her downtown hipster DJ thing, but there's something really cool about seeing Kells and B chilling out, looking ghetto chic and having a laugh with one another.

Drake Bell released his EP, A Reminder, earlier this year as a sort of reminder to his loyal fans that between acting gigs he's still always in tune with their desire to hear new tracks from him. So when he dropped a music video for the feel-good song "Terrific" (which sort of reminds us of something you'd hear in "That Thing You Do"), fans immediately became excited.

"You know we shot that video a while ago in my house," he told MTV News about the clip, which debuted last week on his Facebook page. "We just wanted to … it’s a really, really cool song. It's really, I think, the reason people are digging it [is] cause it deals with a lot of things young people deal with every day. It's sort of like, 'You don’t have to change who you are just so you can fit in over here, you can be yourself.' I think that they connect to it in a way."

Drake is hard at work on his next album and since he doesn't really know when that will drop, he wanted his fans to have something to hold them over. "That's why I released the EP. I've been writing so much, but I haven’t had any time to actual sit down in a studio and construct an entire record. I realized I hadn’t put out a record for quite some time, so I felt like I was robbing the fans," he said. "I got to get them something, so I had enough time to get in there and do these four tunes and these four songs were the most different from the stuff that I'm writing now .I wanted to get those songs out cause I loved those songs."

Over the weekend, Jennifer Lopez took the stage at Mohegan Sun's 15th anniversary celebration in Connecticut and paid homage to her many past loves in a tear-filled performance. During her tracks "If You Had My Love" and "Until It Beats No More" the singer brought a number of dancers on stage that resembled her and the men she's been connected to over the years. "I took a trip down memory lane" she told the room, before showing a photo of her twins, adding, "There's love – and then there's love."

Well before there was that kind of "love," there was a heck of a lot of other kinds of "love." So we thought we'd take a look back at some of JLo's greatest beaus.

When Rihanna spoke to her "We Found Love" director, Melina Matsoukas, she had one directive about casting the video's leading man. "I mean, in the casting she was like, 'You just need to find me some hot a** guy ... so then he had to be somebody she found attractive," Matsoukas explained. So, Melina did her girl one even better by casting the hotness that is British model/boxer Dudley O'Shaughnessy.

The green-eyed up-and-comer certainly caught our eye, and when we spoke to Melina she complimented his demeanor on set. "He's really good. I'll work with him again," she told MTV News. "He' so good and so sweet and so professional."

Dudley was chosen to play Sid to Rihanna's Nancy after Melina put out a call. We imagine the casting notice for the dark, dizzying clip read something like "hot a** guys need only apply" and boom there was Dudley, being all smoldering.

"Even with the actor we cast, we had a casting and there were tons of people that we looked at and I saw him," she said, noting that he had to look like he "was supposed to be some London rough kid and that's what he looks like to me. He's perfect because he doesn't feel like he American and he fit. We just saw pictures and I was like, 'His look is definitely good, but can he act?'" Read More...

Britney Spears and video director Chris Marrs Piliero certainly have some kind of magic together. They've made memorable clips for "I Wanna Go" and now "Criminal," but are the two cooking up something else?

When we caught up with Chris this week, he teased that Spears will likely appear in his first feature film, which he is currently in the process of penning. Asked if he'd work with Spears again, Piliero said, "I mean, definitely," before adding, "Well, besides any future videos, I'm writing a screenplay and I'm definitely saving a role for her, for sure."

Piliero takes MTV News behind the scenes of the "Criminal" video:

Wait a second! Does that mean fans will finally get to see Spears on the big screen for the first time since her lead role in "Crossroads" (which, by the way, Piliero made a little joke about in the "I Wanna Go" video)? "She will be in my first film. I can't really go into detail about what it's about," he said. "I would say it's gonna be crime drama-ish, but with my quirk [and] my approach. But definitely there'll be a role for her, for sure."

However, the size of Brit's role appears to be up in the air. "That I don’t know yet cause I'm still in the writing process," he explained. "So I'm not totally sure, but 100 percent she has to be in it and I know she's already expressed interest. So we'll make that happen." Read More...

It's easy to compare Lady Gaga and Britney Spears to Madonna and have the two of them vie for her throne. But could it be that there's another pop star secretly working her way to Queen of Pop status and doing it more in the spirit of Madge herself? Well, there's an argument to be made that Rihanna is certainly following in the footsteps of the Mama of Pop.

"I think that Madonna was a great inspiration for me, especially on my earlier work. If I had to examine her evolution through time, I think she reinvented her clothing style and music with success every single time," Rihanna said earlier this year. "And at the same time remained a real force in entertainment in the whole world."

While some of you may be scratching your head at the suggestion that Ri – and not Gaga or Brit – might be the new Madge, we've come up with some reasons why. Follow us here for a second, okay?

Rihanna on WhoSay

Rihanna got everyone buzzing this week when she dropped her video for "We Found Love." It was hard to imagine what type of video she'd cooked up for the sunny, Calvin Harris-produced clip, but she certainly threw us for a loop in the best way possible.

The dark, edgy video, directed by Melina Matsoukas ("Hard," "S&M," "Rude Boy" and "Rockstar 101"), takes a close look at a couple fueled by their love for one another and their passion for drugs and partying. While the video opens with the pair (Rihanna and British model/boxer Dudley O'Shaughnessy) seemingly in love, it ends with them broken by the weight of having meant so much to one another and letting themselves get swept up in drugs.

The key scene comes at about 3:33 into the clip. It's when things really start to take a turn for the worse and Rihanna passes out in the street, perhaps from an overdose or exhaustion or both. By this point, Rihanna and Dudley's fighting has gotten worse as their dependency on drugs and partying deepens. The beautiful parts of their love affair have gotten ugly, and Rihanna begins to question it all after a very public meltdown.

In the end, she leaves him, perhaps to get clean and get her life together. That's at least what we hope happens. Read More...
