Proving their hearts are in the right place, the members of Maroon 5 have donated a signed guitar along with two meet-and-greet opportunities – one with frontman Adam Levine on the set of "The Voice" and the other with the full band, including four concert tickets – to a charity auction to raise money for a sick toddler.

The money raised will help pay the medical bills for Zoe Feldman, who turns 3-years-old this month. Zoe was diagnosed with sarcoma botryoides – a form of muscle cancer – and must undergo chemotherapy to treat the condition.

The auction is set up at CharityBuzz.com, and Levine tweeted a link to the auction's page earlier today (August 6), urging fans to bid.

"Hey guys. Auctioning some sweet M5 items @Charitybuzz to benefit our friend #zoefeldman," Levine wrote. "You can bid here … thank you!!!"

Bidding on the Maroon 5 items closes on August 21. The concert meet-and-greet with the band is currently going for $3,800, while the separate opportunity to meet Levine and attend a taping of "The Voice" is up to $3,250.

Adam Lambert

Adam Lambert's latest album Trespassing debuted at #1 back in May, and now, nearly three months later, the former "American Idol" contestant is reassuring his dedicated fans that he does plan to hit the road in support of the set … but not until "the time is right."

The glam-pop star hit Twitter last night (August 2) to tell the nation of Glamberts that a Trespassing tour will indeed happen but that they might have to wait a while longer. "Have no fear, a Trespassing Tour WILL come. When the time is right," Lambert tweeted. "Trust me Glamberts! I won't let you down."

Lambert's second album Trespassing topped the charts with 77,000 copies sold in its opening frame. The singer's 2009 debut, For Your Entertainment, entered the chart at #3 and has gone on to sell more than 1 million copies.

When he's not busy representing his country at the Summer Olympics in London, diver Matthew Mitcham chills out in the – apparently very warm – Olympic Village with his ukulele. He's uploaded a video of himself crooning to his official YouTube channel, joining the U.S. swim team in its attempt to have a little viral fun with a Youtube cover of a pop hit. And what song is the 2008 gold medalist showcasing for all of his fans? Beyonce's "Single Ladies," of course.

Mitcham says he uploaded the clip "because someone on twitter asked me to upload a video of me playing the ukulele."

You can gripe that he didn't opt for a more current song, but at least he didn't toss his hat into the "Call Me Maybe" cover brigade. Also, it's pretty perfect and undeniably adorable!

Check it out:

"I profess to be neither a great instrumentalist nor singer, I'm just an Olympic diver who likes to strum away in his spare time," Mitcham wrote in the video's description. "I think this is where I am supposed to credit Beyonce or something."

What do you think of Matthew's crooning? Do we have an Aussie Jason Mraz on our hands? Let us know in the comments below!

Lady Gaga is touring the world on her "Born This Way Ball" tour, but she's already thinking about what's next. Hard at work on her hotly anticipated new album, Gaga tweeted a link to her littlemonsters.com social networking website with the caption "new ink new album." At the link, fans were greeted by a pic of the glamorous singer's new tattoo.

Situated on her right arm, the ink reads "ARTPOP" in simple black ink. Check it out:

Given the message in her tweet, some are speculating that the tattoo may have something to do with the title of her new album. Gaga has not revealed the name of the set, though she has performed a new song on her "BTW Ball" that may appear on the album and has been talking up the new record during her concerts.

"Let's just say I feel, I feel that when I wrote Born This Way, I demonstrated a sense of maturity. And I feel that, on the next album, there's a lack of maturity, it's a tremendous lack of maturity or sense of responsibility," Gaga told concertgoers in Perth, Australia.

She also announced that she will unveil the album title in September. She's had the name picked out for a while, as she revealed to MTV News in December. Watch:

The Spice Girls have yet to officially confirm that they will be performing at the closing ceremonies of the Summer Olympics in London, though the fact that they are allegedly set to perform two songs is just about the worst kept secret in music.

There have been sly hints and insider chit-chat, but none of the gals has stepped up to say it is 100 percent happening. So far the closest thing we've gotten to a confirmation has come from Victoria Beckham, who was asked about a possible reunion with her old bandmates by a British radio station in mid-July and said, "I don't know about a comeback tour, but I loved being back with the girls...we are very excited about the Olympics."

Today (August 2), the most coy of the Spice Girls tweeted yet another tease to stoke anticipation.

It comes in the form of a picture of a microphone encrusted with rhinestones and glitter. (Perfect, right?) Beckman tweeted the image earlier today along with the caption, "Look what I found!! X vb."

Check it out:

Posh sure knows how to stir excitement in Spice World!

Beckham revealed the pic at nearly the same time as Sunday Mirror entertainment columnist Dean Piper tweeted, "So the Spice Girls are all together rehearsing for the Olympics RIGHT NOW in London. #itsonb*tches."

Lady Gaga has been on a brief break from her "Born This Way Ball," having concluded the Australian leg of the tour on July 8 in Perth before storming Europe beginning August 14 in Sofia, Bulgaria. So what's she been up to? Well, we know she filmed a small part in director Robert Rodriguez's "Machete Kills," but lately it seems she's been busying herself the way many of us have – by watching the Olympics.

Yesterday, she revealed on Twitter that the Games are making her emotional, saying, "The Olympics is the best ever. But I went through a whole pack of tissues last night. Watching hard working athletes achieve their dreams."

She seems to have a particular affinity for women's gymnastics, cheering on Team USA with some encouraging words: "Those girls are tearing the floor up for the USA! #Olympics." She continued, "Woohoo! Gold for the ladies! Just want to squeeze them! So much talent and beauty. Did u seem all holding hands? There's no 'I' in team."

One of the members of the home team, 16-year-old McKayla Maroney, caught wind of Gaga's support and fangirl-ed out a little bit, responding to Mother Monster, "Thanks for watching @ladygaga!! <3 This team loves you & your music!! I also heard you were a gymnast??"

The pop diva seemed as excited by the back-and-forth as the teenage athlete.

"@mckaylamaroney tweeted at me! Why didn't anybody tell me!!! DEAD. You were brilliant give all the girls a kiss for me," Gaga tweeted this morning (August 1), continuing, "And no I did gymnastics for like a weeks and then dropped out for ballet!"

For her part, the talented Maroney thinks Gaga still has a shot. "Aww I will<3 Oh very cool!! Your so amazing I bet you still have a shot at gymnastics! 2016 maybe," she responded.

And so our two favorite national pastimes – celebrities and sports – collided spectacularly, and in the spirit of the Olympic games it was nothing but love!

Olympics

USA! USA! USA!

Michael Phelps won his 19th Olympic medal Tuesday (July 31), taking home gold in the men's 4x200-meter freestyle. With that win, he becomes the most decorated Olympian ever. Phelps now has 15 gold, two silver and two bronze medals earned at four different Olympics.

Earlier in the day, Phelps won the silver in an extremely close 200-meter butterfly race that saw him come in second to South Africa's Chad le Clos, a 20-year-old who counts Phelps as his hero. Phelps didn't hide his disappointed with the outcome of the 200-meter butterfly, his signature race, cradling his face in his hands after coming in second. Had he taken home the gold, he would have won the event at three consecutive Olympics, which itself would have been another record.

With that silver medal, Phelps tied Soviet gymnast Larisa Latynina, who took home 18 medals from 1956 to 1964. Little more than an hour later, he eclipsed the achievement with his 19th prize.

The audience at London's Aquatic Centre gave Phelps the standing ovation he deserved for such a history-making achievement! Congrats, Michael!

Yellowcard

Our buddies over at MTV Buzworthy always get the best song premieres!

Today (July 30), Buzzworthy debuted the first single from pop-punk act Yellowcard's forthcoming eighth studio album, Southern Air, which hits stores August 14 on Hopeless Records. The song, "Here I Am Alive," is all about looking back. Fifteen years after their 1997 debut, the guys are now veterans of the scene and are in full-on reflection mode.

Southern Air is the band's second, following 2011's When You're Through Thinking, Say Yes, album since returning to music after a two-year hiatus. Now that they are back, they are on a roll, and lead singer Ryan Key wants to keep it going. "We got back from tour, and we were still so excited about doing this," Key tells Buzzworthy. "We wanted to keep the ball rolling."

When you've been in the business as long as Yellowcard, you inevitably make some friends … and sometimes they come along for the ride and hit the studio with you. "Here I am Alive" was co-written by Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump and features vocals from We Are The In Crowd's Taylor Jardine.

So how did it turn out? Pretty fantastically if you ask us. But why take our word for it. Listen below:

Cher has been working on her new album for a very long time. It's been a year since we learned that she and Lady Gaga had recorded the Red One-produced duet "The Greatest Thing" for the record. The song was supposed to drop in the fall of last year, but has yet to see the light of day. Despite some strange back-and-forth over the song, Cher has insisted it will appear on her forthcoming album – her first since 2001's Living Proof – and if that's the case, we now know when we'll finally get a taste of the anticipated track.

The music legend took to Twitter late last night (July 29) to reveal that the still-untitled set should hit stores "near Xmas" and that the first single drops in October.

"The Greatest Thing" is not expected to be the first single off the album. Instead, Cher has been singing the praises of an as-yet-unnamed track that is "as good as 'Believe,'" the Euro dance-pop smash that dominated the singles charts in 1999.

She also tweeted several pictures of the ongoing recording sessions for the album. Check them out below!

Justin Bieber

In a statement that should come as a surprise to no one: an 18-year-old pop star with nearly unlimited resources and a penchant for the word "swag" makes for a loud neighbor. At least according to "Hit & Run" co-stars Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell, who live near Justin Bieber.

The pair were on "The View" today promoting their new film, and told the ladies that since Bieber began renting a house behind theirs things have been a bit crazier than usual.

"The music and the parties and the paparazzi, I mean, it’s like living in Lebanon now," Shepard said (via People).

Not looking to rile up those suffering from Bieber Fever, Bell was more diplomatic, saying that while she couldn't be 100 percent sure that Justin was behind the uptick in volume in their neighb, there's definitely been a surge in noise since he set up shop.

"In his defense, I will say we don’t know the exact house the music is coming from," Bell told the ladies. "We just know since he moved in, the music has been blaring."

In other Bieber news, the Los Angeles City Attorney Office is set to file four misdemeanor charges – including following another vehicle too closely, reckless driving with the intent to capture pictures for commercial gain, reckless driving and failing to obey the lawful order of a peace officer – against paparazzo Paul Raef, who allegedly chased Bieber down Los Angeles' 101 freeway last month.
