We know you love Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe," but you know what would make it even better? If Al Green-covering sensation President Barack Obama decided to cover the infectious hit.

Well, your wish has been granted … kind of.

Our buddies over at MTV Act partnered with BaracksDubs, aka Fadi Saleh, the 19-year old University of Tennessee at Knoxville student behind the presidential pop renditions of LMFAO's "Sexy and I Know It" and Lady Gaga's "Born This Way," to let you guys vote on which song you'd like to see BaracksDubs give the Obama mashup treatment. You wisely chose Jepsen's parody favorite "Call Me Maybe," and viral video magic ensued.

While Saleh is of course hoping to entertain with his videos, he also hopes they will bring a little attention to the political process as the presidential election nears. "What my videos can do with the attention they've received is increase consciousness of the elections and remind people that they're approaching fast," he told MTV Act. "Sometimes, that's all people need – a little push to get them out and voting. If my videos are doing that, I must be doing something right."

Pink is having a rough week. The Grammy winner has been in the hospital, suffering from what she first announced was the stomach flu, though a recent tweet suggests she is now having problems with her gall bladder.

The hospital stay has sadly put a damper on the singer's plans to perform at a fundraising event for President Barack Obama and it forced her throw a rather unconventional first birthday party for daughter Willow in her hospital room.

Pink was scheduled to appear at an Obama event in Los Angeles on Wednesday (June 6), but has been replaced by 'Glee' star Darren Criss. "I'm so bummed I can't perform for The President of the United States this Wed night," she tweeted. "Thanx @darrencriss for filling in for me!! #badtiming."

She continued, "So now I've let down my daughter and the President. wow. great week."

We don't think little Willow made out all that badly. Pink tweeted that her daughter "just got a Gucci dress and a custom rocking chair for her birthday, plus some Toms, so it ain't all bad. Lucky little girl. I think I got a bag of cheetos and a teddy bear for my 1st birthday."

Check out Willow's delicious-looking birthday cake below! Read More...

Looking to shape up for the summer bathing suit season? Maybe take a cue from Rihanna and start sipping on some coconut water. The pop star and Vita Coco spokeswoman tells Us Weekly the electrolyte-heavy drink is the secret to her fab physique.

"I wasn't drinking enough water before, and I love coconut water," RiRi tells the mag. "It hydrates me just as much as regular water so it really started to affect my diet and the way my body was shaping up."

It's a sentiment the "Where Have You Been" singer echoes in a new behind-the-scenes video from the photo shoot for her latest campaign for the brand, which was shot by famed photographer Terry Richardson.

So what's her favorite flavor? "Tropical Fruit Punch … [It] completely dilutes the taste of coconut water, if you're not really into it."

We have a theory about the Kardashians. It's not a new theory, to be sure, but there is new evidence to support it.

On a recent trip to the Dominican Republic, the Kardashian klan decided to make an elaborate video of themselves lip-synching to Notorious B.I.G.'s "Hypnotize." We're not talking about a fun, single-take clip of them singing the song while chilling in their cabana. This vid is edited, features multiple takes and backdrops and some basic, slow-motion effects. They grind on a yacht, Bruce Jenner plays Kris Jenner's butt like bongos and they playfully toss faux money around. The whole thing doesn't agree with our stomach for a number of reasons (please feel free to list yours in the comments below), but mostly because it boggles our mind that this insanely rich family that lives their lives on television can't even manage to put the camera down while on vacation.

And here we are, yet again, watching the whole thing. We're not proud of ourselves right now either.
This isn't the family's first on-vacation lip-synch clip. As Buzzfeed points out, they've done this before – again and again. They've made these same clips during trips to Bora Bora, a ranch, while on the set of their Christmas card photo shoot and now in the DR. All of which begs the questions: Why can't they stop filming themselves? Even if they feel like making these videos, why do they release them to the public instead of keeping them for their personal enjoyment? Why do they think people care? (I suppose because we're writing about it right now, showing that we do – but this isn't a raving endorsement, you know?)

We've always been under the impression that vacations were best spent enjoying the company of friends and family away from the bothers of your professional life. Sure, plenty of people take video of their trips and fill their cameras (and often later their Facebook feeds) with pictures from their travels. But they aren't professional personalities like the Kardashians. You'd think these people would desire a little time spent away from the cameras. And frankly, it comes across like they are rubbing people's noses in their riches, which isn't the best look.

Check out the "Hypnotize" clip and a few other Kardashian vacation videos below. We apologize for any elevations in your blood pressure. Read More...

If you've ever seen Madonna's 2004 documentary "I'm Going to Tell You A Secret," you know her young son Rocco Ritchie is a bit of a ham, and now, all these years later, Rocco looks to be following in his mama's footsteps as an entertainer and even joined her on stage as a backup dancer at the launch of her MDNA world tour last night at Tel Aviv, Israel's Ramat Gan Stadium.

The 11-year-old is clearly comfortable in front of a crowd – Madonna performed in front of sold out crowd of more than 35,000 screaming fans. Like his pop star mother, he seems comfortable with costume changes too, sporting three different looks during the show, including flowing, priest-like robes, a sparkling blue tank and headphones and an all-black number.

And while he may have gotten his looks from his father – he's practically a mini-me of film director papa Guy Ritchie – he gets his moves from mom, and wowed the crowd with a dance routine, something he also did last year at the after party for Madonna's Macy's clothing line launch.

Rocco isn't the first of Madonna's brood to take the stage with mom. Lourdes performed as a dancer at a concert on the Pop Queen's "Sticky & Sweet" tour in 2009 and appears briefly in her "Celebration" music video.

Pink, Twitter

Pop singer Pink is under the weather, but that's not enough to keep the "So What" tough girl down.

Late in the day yesterday (May 31), the 32-year-old shared a photo on Twitter that shows her layed up in a hospital bed with an IV in her arm. Despite the serious-seeming situation, however, she is sporting a big smile while sippin' on some juice (or water or something).

Why the happy face?

"Maybe it’s cause my mom was an ER nurse all my life – but throw me in a gown and a hook me up to an IV – and I’m a happy girl," she wrote.

So what's got our girl down? Seems she caught a bug … and maybe something a little extra for good measure.

"Thanks for all the get well wishes. And no-they don't give morphine for flu," she tweeted after receiving plenty of well-wishes from concerned fans. "I might have ulcers again. Because I care too much. It's a gift."

Get well soon, girl. We're really looking forward to that record you're working on!

Of course, she's not the first star to invite her fans into the hospital room. Rihanna recently caused a bit of concern after tweeting an image of an IV in her arm, but offering no real explanation for what was wrong. A source close to Rihanna later told People the singer was not suffering from anything serious: "She had a fever and flu since last week and needed an IV, but is fine now."

On what would have been her 86th birthday, Lady Gaga wished the late, great Marilyn Monroe a happy birthday the best way she knows how – by styling herself up with Monroe's signature big blonde curls and posting the image on her Twitter.

"#HappyBirthdayMarilyn They'll never take our blonde hair and lipstick," Gaga tweeted along with a black and white image of herself topless with barrel curls and dark lips, a look Monroe pioneered during her 1950s heyday.

Lady Gaga, Twitter

Nearly 50 years after her tragic death, Monroe's influence is still felt all over our popular culture. From photo shoot recreations to award-winning performances, Monroe – who was born Norma Jeane Mortensen Baker on June 1, 1926 – remains a stylistic gold standard and a major influence on today's stars. Everyone from Rihanna, Michelle Williams and Gaga to Christina Aguilera, Angelina Jolie and Madonna have sported her looks in pictures, music videos and films.

Gaga is currently in Asia on her "Born This Way Ball" tour, where she is apparently having trouble indulging in one of her favorite hobbies – buying costume jewelry from TV shopping networks. Luckily she has the Internet.

"Laying in bed looking at costume jewelry online. Only thing difficult about being on the road. NO QVC!!! Home Shopping Network where r you!" the pop diva tweeted early this morning. "don't judge me if 35 years from now I have a clothing line like Liza. sort of a suppressed dream. I WANT TO SELL VELOUR and sparkly CHARMS!"

Gaga recently added yet another Twitter milestone to her already-impressive social media cap – she now has 25 million followers, more than any other person on Twitter.

The 25th anniversary of Michael Jackson's landmark album Bad will be commemorated September 18 with the release of the Bad 25 deluxe package, which will include a unheard demos and newly discovered outtakes that didn’t make the original cut of the heralded album as well as live footage from Jackson’s massive 1988 concert at London’s Wembley Stadium – footage taken from Michael's personal VHS copy of his July 16, 1988 performance, which was attended by 72,000 rabid fans and even Prince Charles and Princess Diana.

Jackson's VHS recording of the concert is reported to be the sole copy of the performance. The album itself, of course, already features some of his biggest hits – "Bad," "The Man in the Mirror," "The Way You Make Me Feel" and "Smooth Criminal" to name a few.

The folks at Jackson's label have just released a teaser for the the anniversary reissue package to the set's official website that includes tons of previously unseen images from the King of Pop's famed London concert.

Maroon 5

No one is denying that Adam Levine is quite the ladies' man … especially not Adam Levine.

In a new interview with Details, the handsome "Voice" coach and Maroon 5 frontman, who is currently holding down the #3 spot on the Billboard singles chart with his band's "Payphone," gave his thought on why he is such a hit with the ladies – and rather than opt for the obvious "duh, look at me" he went into detail about why he understands women so well.

"One of my theories on why I'm so capable of understanding women is that after my parents split, my mom moved in with her brother's ex-wife - my aunt - who was also newly single," he told Details. "So I was living in a house with two jilted women, plus my cousin, who's more like my sister, and my brother, Michael, who we eventually find out is gay. Just the estrogen alone ... You know when you're 14 and terrified to talk to a girl? I didn't suffer much from that. It seemed very natural to me to talk to girls."

He also declared he is as far from a "misogynist" – an accusation that has been tossed around a bit concerning how he handled his dust-up with fellow "Voice" judge Christina Aguilera – as a man can get.

"There's two kinds of men. There are men who are f**king misogynist pigs, and then there are men who just really love women, who think they're the most amazing people in the world," Levine said. "And that's me. Maybe the reason I was promiscuous, and wanted to sleep with a lot of them, is that I love them so much."

Got that? He's just got a lot of love to give. And now that he's single again, we're sure he won't have any trouble finding a few ladies looking for a little innocent lovin.' Yeah, that's it. Lovin.' Read More...
