After original drummer Chris Mars left the band, Foley was recruited to replace him in 1990. According to "All Over But the Shouting: An Oral History of the Replacements," frontman Paul Westerberg and guitarist Tommy Stinson met Foley in a Minneapolis bar and hitched a ride with him to the drummer auditions they were holding. Their album All Shook Down happened to be playing on his stereo, prompting Stinson and Westerberg to declare, "You're already in."

He stayed on with the band through their farewell tour, which ended on July 4, 1991, in Chicago's Grant Park. After the breakup, Foley and brother Kevin joined Stinson's band Bash & Pop. He was most recently working as a car salesman in Minneapolis.

The Tribune reports that visitation will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Washburn-McReavy Funeral Chapel in Edina, Minnesota, with burial to follow at Lakewood Cemetery.

According to People.com, police claim no major injuries were sustained in the crash, which they've said was Bynes' bad.

"Ms. Bynes was driving a BMW when she made an unsafe turn and another car hit her," police told People.com. "It was determined that she was at fault, but no crime was committed. The other driver complained of minor injuries. Drugs and alcohol were not involved. It was just a typical car accident. There was no serious damage to either vehicle."

Back in February, Bynes was of several drivers involved in a multi-car collision in Beverly Hills, according to TMZ.com. No one was injured in that accident either, but rush-hour traffic was disrupted for some time.

Is it time for Amanda — along with the majority of Hollywood celebs — to consider hiring a driver?
