Are you ready to be on a track with Beyonce?

Following her first public appearance since the birth of her daughter Blue Ivy Carter on Monday at Jay-Z's Carnegie Hall gig and 40/40 club, Beyonce had a major announcement for her fans on Wednesday.

The "Love on Top" singer is holding a contest to see which one of her fans can come up with the best remix to her song "End of Time" from her album 4. Fans can submit their remixes on Beyonce's website, where they can also download stems from the 4 song.

The fan that submits the best remix will win $4,000 and be included on a future release by Beyonce. While no exact details on the future release were given, the opportunity to be on any Beyonce release should have fans racing to make the best remix they possibly can.

The contest hints to “End of Time" – which following 4's release charted on Billboards Bubbling Under Chart based on digital downloads alone – possibly being the fifth single from 4.

For more on the contest, read on.

You can enter by submitting your version of the “End of Time” remix through BeyonceOnline.com . Your chances of winning might come down to having the most friends – the top 50 submissions with the most votes will be considered by Queen B's team.

Former Destiny's Child Michelle Williams already let us know that she does not need to congratulate her friend Beyonce on Twitter when she can do it in person, #thankyouverymuch!

So when Williams hit the red carpet for this weekend's BET Honors, reporters were curious if she'd met little Blue Ivy Carter. Well, she has and had nothing but glowing things to say. "She is absolutely gorgeous. We were all in love," Williams told USA Today on the red carpet. "They [Beyonce and Jay-Z] have already settled into their role of being parents, and it's just awesome to see. They might have inspired me a little bit, but this ring finger got to get a little more heavy first!"

Williams' happy words come on the heels of a Twitter tongue-lashing after she was criticized for not offering well-wishes on the social network following Blue Ivy's birth. "Let's get ONE thing straight....I do NOT have to say congrats to someone when they're NOT on twitter...ESPECIALLY when I talk or email them all the time....or when I'll be physically present as well," she wrote. "This is a beautiful, precious, private time between two people and excitement is to be expected but NOT disrespect! #churchdismissed"

Also on hand at the BET Honors was Kelly Rowland, who was a little more coy about B.I.C.

"That will be something that everybody will have to experience the same way I did," Rowland said when asked who Blue Ivy looks like. "That's for her parents to disclose, not myself."

With millions of inane tweets being pumped out every day, it can be hard to keep track of actual celebrity gossip, feuds and random observations that make Twitter so much fun. So we’re rounding up the week in Twitter drama – or Twama for those of you not yet sick of cutesy word combos!

By Kara Klenk

Katy Perry Tells Everyone To Step Off

Katy Perry's divorce drama intensified when her parents began speaking to the media and as usually Katy used Twitter as a way to silence the rumors.

Seriously, Mama and Papa Perry need to lock it up and drop out of Michael Lohan’s School for Parenting.

Read on for more!

Blue Ivy Carter Is Born, Conspiracy Theorists Salivate

All of the Illuminati conspiracy theories on the Internet are pretty laughable, but they jumped to another level at the birth of Jay-Z and Beyonce’s bundle of joy, Blue Ivy Carter. Her name was immediately dissected, diagrammed and made into an acronym for Born Living Under Evil and Illumnati’s Very Youngest. Blerg. Pretty sure even the name Suzie Jane could be somehow transformed into a devilish anagram. And Twitter was buzzing with the (ridiculous!) rumor that Blue Ivy backwards mean’s "Lucifer’s daughter" in Latin to the point that Eulb Yvi was trending. A semester of high school Latin, or a quick Google search, could have quickly put that to bed but alas, the conspiracy theories rolled onward.

Another rumor was that she was named after her parents desire that she attend Columbia University in New York City, who’s color is blue and is an Ivy League school. But does anyone really think that is necessary to get little Blue into Columbia’s class of 2034? Not when her college essay is about beating Kanye West at Scrabble or spelunking with Oprah one summer in Brazil!

Justin Bieber Won’t Stop Believin’

Justin Bieber has his Beliebers worked into a frenzy this week tweeting updates from the studio where he is working on his new album, Believe. He just announced that Black Eyed Peas rapper will.i.am will collaborate on a track, which is sure to be bumping at ever Bar Mitzvah in town by this time next year.

Here's how it all went down:

"When Beyonce was a young girl, she met a magical witch named Grisora in the woods while gathering berries and Grisora told Beyonce she would make her sing with the unmatched beauty of a thousand nightingales in return for her first born child," gossip columnist Bryan Spees tells "StarFix."

It seems Grisora has been keeping tabs on Bey and was even in the front row at the VMAs when she revealed her pregnancy (a tough ticket to get, Bryan notes) and even though Jay-Z offered her a room full of gold to go away, Grisora would not be dissuaded.

Take a little breather from all the Blue ivy craziness and watch the Onion's clip below:

By Kara Warner

If you think you haven't heard of Diane Warren, you've definitely heard a dozen or so of her chart-topping, award-winning songs. The prolific songwriter has written songs for Celine Dion, Elton John, LeAnn Rimes, Mary J. Blige, Toni Braxton and most recently Cher, Justin Bieber and Beyonce. She is a double Grammy nominee this year for "You Haven’t Seen The Last of Me" from "Burlesque" and "Born to Be Somebody" from "Never Say Never" in the category of Best Song Written For Visual Media.

MTV News was lucky enough to catch up with Warren recently to talk about the stories behind her nominated songs for Cher and Justin Bieber, as well as some inside scoop about how "I Was Here" almost didn't make it on Beyonce's 4 album.

MTV News: Congratulations on your two Grammy nominations!

Diane Warren: Thank you. It is nice to be nominated, but I always lose [laughs]. I’ve never been up against myself and I’ve never had two songs in the same category. I’m happy to have had one. It’s pretty cool. I’ve been telling as many people as I can, "You have two choices guys!" It’s amazing, there’s almost a 50 year age difference between [Cher and Bieber]. It’s like, "Alright that’s diversity."

MTV: So how did you end up with a song in "Burlesque"?

Warren: It’s a good story. The director hated the song, Steve Antin just didn’t want anything to do with it. He sent back emails, "I don’t want that song, it’s not right." I ran into Cher’s best friend Laurie Rodkin at a restaurant and me being me I had my iPod on me I said, “I wrote a great song for Cher, she listened to it and loved it and asked for a CD. “I’ll be seeing Cher in Vegas,” she told me, and you never know how those things go so I didn't expect anything to come from it. Weeks later I get an email from Lindsay Scott, her music manager. I found out Laurie had played the song for Cher, Cher heard it when she was getting ready for a show with a hair dryer on her head, she heard it through the hair dryer and said, "I want to do that song." She had to fight for it. After they filmed it, the director still wanted to take the scene out - the one song she had by the way.

MTV: And how did you end up writing for Justin Bieber?

Warren: I was asked to do a song for the movie by Paramount and Scooter Braun [Biebs' manager] and I ran into each other at a restaurant. Restaurants are lucky for me! They said, "We need a song can you write something for me?" So I did.

MTV: What was your interaction like with Bieber?

Warren: I wasn't in the studio when he recorded the song, but I did see him after and got to tell him "Great job." He is very respectable. He’s a nice kid, a very talented kid.

MTV: In addition to the Grammy-nominated songs, what else are you working on?

Warren: I’m kind of all over the place. I did the Beyonce song on her album, "I Was Here," and I'm working with her on the music for “A Star Is Born.” I think she’s going to be great in that movie.

MTV: Tell us a little bit more about working with Beyonce on "I'm Not Here"

Warren: It was really fun. I was showing her the song, it was a cool moment to hear her singing it, learning. ...I have to say, [Beyonce] is awesome. She is such a nice person. I would do anything for her. I was there when she sang my song that’s on her album and seeing that process, that's a good story too. I literally called Jay-Z and played it on the phone for him. I played it for him, he had her call me and long story short she was in the studio two days later. The album was supposed to be mastered that week, so they held it up for the song. Seeing her work ethic, she was there for three hours singing better than anybody and I said, "Okay, that’s amazing," and she said, "No I’m just getting started. I’m going to go get dinner and come back." It’s like, "Holy s**t." It’s not an accident when people are that successful. It’s a) you’re talented and b) the work ethic that separates the great from the good. She’s a great.

Everybody is always running to Twitter to share their every thought and feeling. The same is true of celebrities, who share even the most banal details on the social-networking site. Recently, Twitter saw an influx of congratulations for a very famous singer and her hip-hop mogul husband on the birth of their new baby, but notably absent from the choir of congrats was Michelle Williams, former Destiny's Child and current gospel singer and Broadway star.

You see, Miz Williams didn't think it appropriate to hit the tweet button to congratulate Beyonce on the birth of little Blue Ivy. She apparently got a little ribbing from fans for not issuing a statement the way many of Bey and Jay's other friends, from Rihanna to Gwyneth Paltrow, did and finally took to Twitter to let us all know why.

"Let's get ONE thing straight....I do NOT have to say congrats to someone when they're NOT on twitter...ESPECIALLY when I talk or email them all the time....or when I'll be physically present as well," she replied to one irate fan.

"My friendship with people aren't always for twitter display," Williams continued. "Respect that and get a LIFE!!! Enjoy this FINE day!!! God bless!!!!"

But that's not all!

"This is a beautiful, precious, private time between two people and excitement is to be expected but NOT disrespect! #churchdismissed"

Church dismissed indeed! It seems Michelle Williams has her head on straight and chooses to live a little bit of her life offline. Good for her! And wish Beyonce congratulations for us … in person or on the phone!

By Zachary Swickey

We often read crazy stories in the news that seem too wildly outrageous to be true, but when there’s a police report to back-up the insanity it’s hard to argue. Case in point: Ronald Deaver, a 31-year-old man who shanked a dude for not knowing the marital status of Jay-Z and Beyonce. (Now, that s**t cray!).

Fox News reports that one hour before we rung in 2012, Deaver allegedly stabbed a 48-year-old man outside his apartment in Parma, Ohio, and has been charged with felonious assault for the incident. Det. Marty Compton says the fight began “because the victim did not know that singer Beyonce’s husband is rapper Jay-Z.” The officer says authorities were called following the stabbing and the victim was rushed to a local hospital before being transferred to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he is currently in good condition.

Police tracked Deaver to his apartment, however, he was nowhere to be found when they arrived and a woman at the residence said he was no longer living there. Police caught up with the culprit a short time later and the woman was arrested for obstructing justice (filling in the blanks – she was likely hiding him).

Me gasping at my roommate’s lack of knowledge of Katy Perry’s divorce from Russell Brand seems pretty insignificant at this point.

For our favorite celebrities, the red carpet is the place to make a big statement. From outrageous fashion to borderline crazy antics, it all happens on the way into an event.

Check out MTV News' Most-Memorable Red Carpet Moments!

But who really brought their A-game to the carpet in 2011? Well, Lady Gaga for one. People will be talking for years to come about her arrival at this year’s Grammy Awards. No, she didn’t have on another meat dress. She arrived in an egg, silly! It had something to do with being in gestational creative state or something. Some thought it was pretty awesome, others considered it just plain weird. Love it or hate it, if you were watching, you won’t soon forget it!

Also causing a stir at the Grammy was our girl Snooki, who co-hosted MTV’s coverage with Sway Calloway. But the real buzz came from MTV’s own red carpets. At the Movie Awards, “Twilight” starlet Nikki Reed announced her engagement to “American Idol” finalist Paul McDonald (the pair wed in October). And at the VMAs, Justin Bieber introduced us to his snake, Johnson. His pet snake, a baby boa constrictor, just to be clear.

Then there was Beyonce. Oh, Queen Bey! Without warning the R&B superstar, who was one of MTV News' Top Newsmakers of 2011, showed up on the VMA red carpet in a striking orange Lanvin dress, and though she didn’t talk to the press, she caressed her belly in a way that pretty much said it all!

Which red carpet moment was tops in 2011? Let us know by voting in our poll after the jump!

The time has come!

Last week, we opened voting to find out which 2011 videos from fan-favorite artists Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Britney Spears, Beyonce and Chris Brown were your favorites of the year and after several thousand votes were cast, we have the results!

So which videos ruled the roost in 2011? Check 'em out below.

Katy Perry, "The One that Got Away"

Katy's most recent clip dominated the competition, taking 54.76 percent of the vote. "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" held it up in second with 30.73 percent while Katy's spring smash "E.T." nabbed only 14.51 percent of the vote (probably because the visual spectacle is further back in people's memories than her more recent vids).

Read on for the fan-favorite videos from Swift, Brit, Queen Bey and Chris Brown!

Taylor Swift, "Ours"

Taylor Swift - Ours (Music Video) from nhoclink on Vimeo.

Here again, the most recent video won by a landslide. "Ours" took 36 percent of the vote, leaving Taylor's four other clips, "Back to December" (15.47 percent), "Mean" (17.69 percent), "The Story of Us" (18.35 percent) and "Sparks Fly" (12.19 percent), to fairly evenly divvy up the rest.

Britney Spears, "Hold It Against Me"

Weird things to report here … the first of Britney's four 2011 clips held up the best in this competition (which also drew the most votes of the five stars we asked you guys about), snagging 33.94 percent, a marked difference from the results we got for Katy, Taylor and Beyonce. Behind it were "I Wanna Go" (24.39 percent) and "Criminal" (21.95 percent). "Criminal's" ranking is particularly interesting because the video, which co-stars Brit's new fiancé Jason Trawick, made it all the way to the final two in MTV News' Britney Spears Tournament: 30 Videos for 30 Years. Sure, it lost to "I'm A Slave 4 U" in the end, but on the heels of a Britney-loving tweet, the video roared through that competition only to fall to third in this much smaller face-off. Also interesting, Britney's video for "Till the World Ends" came in last, pulling in only 19.72 percent of the vote despite winning a VMA for Best pop Video and being the most successful chart hit from her Femme Fatale album.

Beyonce, "Dance For You"

Beyonce – Dance For You ( 2011 ) from 3rkan on Vimeo.

We can only chalk this one up to "Dance for You" being Queen Bey's most recent video because while it is a fine effort, you're just not going to tell us it's better than "Run The World (Girls)" (31.17 percent) or, our personal favorite, "Countdown" (21.19 percent). "Dance" took 37.68 percent of this second-most-voted-upon category and with "Girls" and "Countdown" left Beyonce's four other videos – "Love On Top" (2.93 percent), "Best Thing I Never Had" (2.62 percent), "Party" (2.15 percent) and "1+1" (1.83 percent) – in the dust.

Chris Brown, "Beautiful People"

Another shocker! We thought Brown's VMA contender "Look At Me Now" had this in the bag but nope, no sir … "Beautiful People" turned out to be the fan-favorite by almost ten percent, 38.34 percent to "Look At Me Now's" 29.29. That left 16.82 percent of the vote for "Next to You" and 15.55 percent for "She Ain't You."

By Zachary Swickey

Jigga man Jay-Z may have 99 problems but chivalry ain’t one – the rap superstar is showing his support his pregnant wifey Beyonce by joining her on a strict dieting regimen.

A source tells Us Weekly that the duo have been maintaining a "partially vegan diet," which will surely help Queen B get her notably drool-worthy physique back after her baby is delivered. (No one’s exactly sure when she’s due, but our best guess is early in the New Year.)

Discussing Hova’s new vegan-centric diet, the source states, "Jay’s trying to be disciplined, and he needs the energy to support her."

Beyonce previously talked to "20/20" about her eating habits, saying, "I’ve been really conscious [about food]. I’ve been trying my best not to lose control!"

The source also adds to Us that the couple were "dancing up a storm" at The Spare Room gaming lounge at the Hollywood Roosevelt – partying ‘til 4 AM, while Jay blows off steam from his monumental Watch the Throne tour with chum Kanye West.

It’s been quite the year for Jay with the wild success of Watch the Throne – his joint album with his partner-in-crime West. The disc has been nominated for a Grammy in the Best Rap Album category with the duo also picking up a nom for Best Rap Performance for the track “Otis.” Of course, their biggest jam, “N**gas in Paris,” – which they performed a total of 26 times over 3 nights at the Staples Center in Los Angeles – just took the No. 8 spot on MTV’s first Best Songs of the Year list, while also coming in at No. 4 on the Best Artists of the Year list. What else can you expect when the two biggest powerhouses of rap combine forces?

Beyonce had no problem basking in the limelight either this year. While some critics weren’t feeling the R&B nature of her newest album, 4, most of them were still loving it as much as we do. Of course, she also made our Best Artist list coming three spots behind her hubby at No. 7. You’d think a pregnancy might be a career setback or incite a momentary lull in productivity, but that doesn’t seem to be the case with Bey, who dropped a whopping seven music videos this year alone.

Don’t forget to vote in our poll for Beyonce’s Best Video of 2011. We’ll reveal the results on Monday!
