For Taylor Swift's new music video for her song "You Belong With Me," Miley lent Taylor her "Hannah Montana: The Movie" onscreen love, Lucas Till, to have as her own for the clip.

Lucas — who took to his MySpace blog to announce the good news — said, "I may or may not have been shooting a music video for Taylor Swift. I may or may not play the 'main guy' in the video and he may or may not be the captain of the football team."

He added, "Seriously it was awesome to shoot the video, we had a lot of fun. We shoot at a local high school and the school's football team (+ me), cheerleaders and the marching band were involved and we even had a prom scene... I can't wait for you all to see the video. Hope you like it."

Lucas, who was the irresistible cowboy in "Hannah Montana," is not the first flame that Miley has shared with Taylor. For Taylor's "Love Story" music video, Miley allowed her to borrow her real-life boyfriend, Justin Gaston, who then later appeared onstage with Taylor at the CMA Awards.

Sharing secrets is one thing, but the true sign of friendship is sharing boyfriends.

Amy Winehouse is back in trouble! The Brit soul sensation threw another assault charge onto her ever-growing rap sheet for allegedly beating a fan who requested a photo with her last September. In other news, it's Friday.

There's a lot to be said about last night's episode of "American Idol," (TATIANA, I MISS YOU ALREADY!) but much of the wild-card show was centered on Anoop Desai. In addition to being chosen as lucky number 13 to round out this year's hopefuls, Desai gave a shout-out to an elusive "Eve" at the end of his song and critique. Curious? We've demystified the announcement.

Taylor Swift just fulfilled her ultimate dream! No, it wasn't to have the #1 album for the past zillion weeks. Rather, she was killed on an episode of "CSI." Did you see it last night? What did you think of her performance?

Taylor has given some work to Miley's boyfriend, "model" and "musician" Justin Gaston, when he starred in her video for "Love Story" and then reprised the role for her performance at the CMT Awards. And the two have probably bonded about their Jonas Brothers exes (who, by the way, will also be at the Grammys.) But it's about time that the ladies join their combined teen-star forces.

According to Ryan Seacrest's Twitter, he pair will sing "Fifteen," from Swift's seemingly unstoppable album Fearless. I want to be quick to point out, though, that neither Taylor nor Miley is nominated for a Grammy this year, which makes it kind of awkward that they're gracing the stage — although it's a big ratings win for the Academy. The kids just want to see their favorite singers together on one stage!

It will be interesting to see what these two pop stars have up their sleeves. And, it'll be fun to see if Justin Gaston manages to squeeze in on the act. I wait with baited breath. But, really the next big question that springs to mind is: What are they going to wear? Will they match? Only time will tell.

Taylor Swift is now one of those people on the "cry me a river" list. Recently, Blake Lively of "Gossip Girl" had the distinction of making the list when the very pretty blonde complained to Vogue about how she was made fun of in school. Now, in March's Teen Vogue, Swift (who also happens to be a very pretty blonde ... a trend perhaps?) is complaining that she, too, suffered the wrath of mean girls.

"Junior high was actually sort of hard, because I got dumped by this group of popular girls," the singer/songwriter told Teen Vogue. "They didn't think I was cool or pretty enough, so they stopped talking to me.

"The kids at school thought it was weird that I liked country [music]," she added. "They'd make fun of me."

So what did Taylor do? She moved from Pennsylvania to Nashville in ninth grade and became a superstar. And guess who suddenly wanted to be Taylor's friends? "They showed up, wearing my T-shirts and asking me to sign their CDs," she said. "It was bittersweet, because it made me realize that they didn't remember being mean to me and that I needed to forget about it too."

And, as is the case in this classic tale, Taylor became a famous pop star and is now here to remind everyone that they were mean to her.

"Really, if I hadn't come home from school miserable every day, maybe I wouldn't have been so motivated to write songs. I should probably thank them!"

We guess you showed them, right?

MTV News likes to make celebrity dreams come true. And we'd like to think that because we put it out there in November that Taylor wanted to do a cameo on "CSI," CBS executives talked to "CSI" exec producer Carol Mendelsohn, who just cast Swift for an episode on the show.

Perhaps a CBS exec had a Google Alert on "CSI" (or on Taylor Swift, you never know) and was directed to our article. Or, perhaps the suits at CBS are avid MTV News readers.

"I could be a crook," Swift proposed for her hypothetical guest stint in our interview. "Hopefully one that's really twisted, that took, like, four episodes to figure out."

She also said she'd like to be on "Grey's Anatomy." "I would play a corpse, 'cause I love it that much," she said. If she lands herself a gig on "Grey's," we're going to say it's more than just a fluke.

Then again, we could just be taking credit for what is actually the result of Swift's amazing wave of success in recent months. Either way, we like thank-you notes.

Earlier this week, I got the offer from Taylor Swift's publicist to stop by the "SNL" rehearsals to interview Ms. Swift, as well as the show's host, Mr. Doogie Howser himself, Neil Patrick Harris. What was I going to do, say no?

So, I rolled up to 30 Rock with my crew and embarked on the exciting chance to check out the famous studio for myself. As I said yesterday, the studio was smaller than I expected. It's unimaginable how they turn a pretty sparse room into weekly TV magic. Although, it was cool to see the music stage, as well as the stage that they do the monologue in front of.

Not to get all Hollywood on you here, but I've met Taylor Swift on several occasions, and it seems like every time we meet up, I have a new hairstyle (for those keeping track, I now have bangs) and she is a bigger superstar than the time before. And I never mind when she gives me one of her famous hugs.

I've never had the chance to meet this week's host, Neil Patrick Harris, and it was cool to meet a TV legend like him. I got to see him act in a scene with "SNL" favorites, like Fred Armisen and Kenan Thompson. I also scoped out Kristen Wiig, Darrell Hammond, Bill Hader, Will Forte and head honcho Lorne Michaels. Sadly, I didn't get the opportunity to hand Lorne my reel of celebrity impressions.

Even for someone who works at a TV network and can admittedly get pretty jaded by meeting famous people, being at "SNL" was still a really enthralling experience. And, Lorne, I promise next time I'll have my reel all ready to go.

It was interesting being in the "Saturday Night Live" studio at 30 Rock — it's much smaller than it appears live from New York every Saturday night. But you get the sense that comedy magic is brewing in that room. We arrived just as Taylor was finishing up her soundcheck, but we had the opportunity to catch a bunch of other fantastic moments.

We got a little peek at one of the sketches set to possibly air on Saturday — Neil plays David Frost and spoofs the film "Frost/Nixon" by interviewing other famous people of the '70s.  It was really funny, so hopefully it will make it to air.  We also had the opportunity to meet one of the newer castmembers, Bobby Moynihan, who, needless to say, made us chuckle a few times.

Neil and Taylor made us all laugh pretty hard when they taped their promos, set to air in the days before the show's live taping at 30 Rock. In one promo, TV vet Neil Patrick Harris tries to teach young Taylor Swift the subtleties of working in TV — he lets her know it involves a lot of waiting.

In the next promo, Taylor tells Neil that "Doogie Howser, M.D." used to make her cry. Neil seems moved by the revelation, until she admits it's because she was a baby when the show was on. Wah wah!

Let's face it, 2008 was the year of the pop artist. And, since I am the resident pop expert around these parts, I decided to make my top 10 list all about the greatest pop albums to hit the charts in the last 12 months.

10. Pink, Funhouse: Her tough-girl attitude paid off with this album. She performed her single, "So What," at the VMAs and soon after, it was everywhere.

9. New Kids on the Block, The Block: They took us all back to 1988, and that time-traveling paid off. They had a hit album, some catchy singles and a successful tour.

8. Leona Lewis, Spirit: "Bleeding Love" was inescapable, because Americans love a sultry British songstress.

7. Katy Perry, One of the Boys: Love her or hate her, "I Kissed a Girl" left its mark on 2008 and she solidified herself as a kitschy pop artist.

6. Beyoncé, I Am ... Sasha Fierce: Beyoncé split her personality in an attempt to prove to everyone that she isn't boring, with pretty good results.

5. Miley Cyrus, Breakout: Miley, and her album, were more of a phenomenon than anything else.

4. Jonas Brothers, A Little Bit Longer: The Jonas Brothers showed everyone that some catchy music and skin-tight jeans will always set teen girls' hearts aflutter.

3. Demi Lovato, Don't Forget: Demi, how could we forget? This year she went from that girl in "Camp Rock" to a certifiable pop star.

2. Britney Spears, Circus: OK, so it seemed like Britney Spears should have been at the top. And, admittedly, she had an amazing comeback. She proved to everyone she's still hot and sexy and can bust out a great song or two about being all of those things.

1. Taylor Swift, Fearless: Despite (or because of?) her tendency to over-share details about her relationship with Joe Jonas (which is both annoying and amazing), she certainly ruled 2008. She was nominated for a VMA, and Fearless has sold over 1.5 million records. If that doesn't make her album the most successful pop album of 2008, I don't know what would.

Your music is great, don't get us wrong. We can't stop bopping to "Single Ladies" here in the newsroom. But we suspect that the album-buying public can't get past the fact that you come across as, well, boring. Even though you cooked up this crazy, metal-glove-wearing alter ego Sasha Fierce, people still don't know how relate to you, and perhaps your record sales are being affected.

This isn't a problem for Taylor Swift and Britney Spears, who live their lives constantly in the media. We know everything about them. Where they shop, what kid of coffee they like (Fraps, y'all), whom they date, what happens on their dates ...

Taylor's always out there talking about how badly Joe Jonas broke her heart or her awesome (read: antiquated) rules for dating (never call a guy first, girls!). She posts MySpace blogs about her broken-heart mixtapes. Meanwhile, Britney went on the record in her documentary and talked candidly about her breakups with Kevin Federline and Justin Timberlake. This is in addition to the fact that she's popping up everywhere, trying to show the world that she is Britney the pop star again, not Britney the tabloid queen.

Taylor Swift has sold nearly 1,300,000 copies of her album Fearless since its release a month ago. And Britney claimed the top spot this week, selling over 505,000 of Circus in its first week. Then you, Beyoncé, find yourself at #3. Selling over 893,000 copies of I Am ... Sasha Fierce in three weeks is impressive, but you're still the bridesmaid and not the bride.

Speaking of weddings, you still won't really talk about your new hubby, Jay-Z. Privacy is one thing, but you guys barely even take pictures together. And maybe you do like to go out and have a good time, but how are we supposed to know this? It kind of takes away from the fun of your party anthems if we think you're actually sitting at home embroidering pillows or something.

So, here's a new game plan: Maybe the kooky wild Sasha Fierce can get out there and start gossiping about Beyoncé. Take this split-personality thing a little further and allow her to tell us a little more about you. Until she does, you'll always be a few steps behind Britney and Taylor.
