Yes, voters hit the polls early, braving long lines to make their voices heard today. But even those who can't step into the booth are helping out. Our Pennsylvania Choose or Lose Street Teamer, Cassidy Hartmann, came across two 13-year-olds in Philadelphia hoisting a banner reading, "Don't forget to vote today." One of the students said his teacher asked them to go outside and remind people to vote. But his friend admitted, "At first, I wanted to get out of class." Although they aren't old enough to vote (and aren't fully decided on a candidate), they do understand the importance of voting this Election Day. So why were they there? Check out Cassidy's video to find out.

The Obama campaign has reportedly asked some of his famous supporters stay away from his rally Tuesday night in Chicago's Grant Park, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. Although the campaign is reportedly grateful for the high-profile support, several prominent celebs have reportedly been asked "politely but very firmly" to skip the rally and focus on attending the Obama inauguration in January, should that occur.

An Obama insider reportedly told the newspaper's Bill Zwecker that Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, Sean "Diddy" Combs, Susan Sarandon, Tim Robbins and Ben Affleck were among those asked to stay away from tonight's festivities.

Chris 'Boomer' Berman and Senator John McCainBy Nicole Guanlao

It doesn't matter which teams are playing. Millions of people tune in to "Monday Night Football" every week for that one matchup because they love the game. What better way to reach those Americans — all the "Joe Six-Packs" and "Joe the Plumbers," not to mention many females — than by getting some face time in between all of the helmet bashing.

So, can you really blame Barack Obama and John McCain for putting on their game faces for an interview with Chris "Boomer" Berman the night before Election Day?

There are as many reasons to get out and vote today as there are citizens in these United States. For 26-year-old Elizabeth from New York City, it's all about civic duty. "As Americans, it is our responsibility to vote and make a choice," she says.

Kortnie, 22, in Big Lake, Arkansas, agrees: "I'm voting because I have no right to complain about the government if I don't."

For others, their vote is all about issues. For 20-year-old Kelly from Newark, Delaware, it's about choice. "I'm voting because I don't want Roe v. Wade to be overturned," she says.

Sarah from Norman, Oklahoma, is voting for the environment. "I voted to stop global warming," she says.

We've more than exhausted our allotment of boxing metaphors to describe the presidential campaign. But here goes one more: Whoever is in charge of picking the music played at Republican candidate Senator John McCain's rallies is either punch-drunk or down for the count.

You'd think after getting smacked down by the Foo Fighters, John Mellencamp, Heart and Jackson Browne (who actually filed suit against McCain for using "Running on Empty" in an ad broadcast in Ohio) that someone, anyone, in the McCain camp would vet song choices at least as thoroughly as they vetted vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin (OK, maybe that's a bad example).

But in the latest song snafu, the guitarist for '80s rockers Survivor has asked the McCain/Palin campaign to stop using their "Rocky III" anthem "Eye of the Tiger" at events, according to a post on the band's official Web site.

Bad Brains' Paul D. HudsonOn November 4 — which will undoubtedly be a momentous, historic Election Day, no matter the outcome — hardcore legends Bad Brains will be revisiting their own history. The band will be performing in their hometown of Washington, D.C., where, in 1979, the band found themselves the subject of an “unofficial” ban by many of the city’s clubs and performance venues (a move that inspired their song “Banned in D.C.”).
