Enough is enough. One of the big jokes at last night's Emmy Awards came at the expense of British "Office" star Ricky Gervais. Gervais was famously rough on some of Hollywood's biggest stars when he hosted this year's Golden Globes and has been getting shamed for it ever since.
Gervais introduced the Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series category with a pre-taped, heavily (and purposefully) edited segment that made light of the controversy that followed his Globes hosting gig – which reportedly got Gervais banned from hosting duties at the Globes indefinitely. Afterward, Emmy host Jane Lynch added, "Poor little Ricky Gervais. Someone didn't get enough hugs from mommy and somehow it's Hollywood's fault."
Jeez! Is it just us, or is all the hate Gervais has received since the Globes pretty ridiculous? Sure, his jokes were cutting, but at least they were funny (something Lynch and the Emmys mostly missed out on being), and the fact that Hollywood just can't move on only hits home that, as a community, Hollywood has no sense of humor about itself whatsoever.
This isn't a surprise, of course – Hollywood is notoriously thin-skinned – but it's also kind of exhausting because, well, nobody really cares that Ricky Gervais made fun of Robert Downey Jr. and Angelina Jolie nearly nine months ago. No one except awards show writers, that is, and they just will not let it go. Read More...

Watching last night's Emmy Awards telecast was a painful experience. (Hey, crazy old lady from "Desperate Housewives," nobody doubts that you can deliver a Bruce Vilanch punch line. Get over yourself!)
Every time Emmy nominations are announced, you hear about the snubs. You know, who should have made the list but got cut instead. So we decided it was time to take control of the Emmy nods, which were announced earlier today (
