Our girl Hilary Duff is loving the family life and posted an adorable new picture of herself, husband Mike Comrie and baby Luca to her Twitter this morning. Check it out:

Hilary Duff, Twitter

Since becoming a mom, Duff has been hitting Twitter hard with all sorts of mommy-related advice and observations that make us believe she's probably going to expand her empire into the baby realm – think Stuff by Hilary Duff baby clothes, bottles and blankets – and since she's already an author, we wouldn't be surprised if her next heroine is a mama on a mission.

And lest you think baby Luca is going to keep Hilary out of the studio, think again. She told MTV News' own Christina Garibaldi that after a few months getting her mama on, she'll be ready to get back in the studio and maybe even hit the road for a tour.

"Before I got pregnant I was really starting to work on a new record," Duff told MTV News. "I want to have a few months with my baby, and then I think maybe touring with a baby could be easy."

It's been a very busy day on the celebrity pregnancy front.

The big news, of course, has been that MTV's own Snooki is expecting her first baby with new fiancé Jionni LaValle. And now, about-to-burst Hilary Duff is starring in a very funny new FunnyorDie video warning of an, um, unexpected side effect of pregnancy. Take note, Snooks.

(Also, Jessica Simpson posed nude for a Demi Moore-reminiscent Elle magazine cover. Unfortunately for her, it's not exactly the first thing that comes up when you Google "pregnant stars" today.)

Anyhow … In "Hilary Duff's Pregnancy Secrets," the "So Yesterday" songbird sings the praises of a new product called No-Groactive, which will help you deal with the "rampant, excessive hair growth" associated with pregnancy. "Seriously, who has time to shave their back twice a day?" Duff asks. Who indeed?

Watch:

And lest you think it is only for pregnancy-related hair growth, think again. Regardless of whether your hair is from a rare genetic disorder or you hit an old lady with your car and had a gypsy curse put on you that caused hair to grow all over your body, No-Groactive will take care of all your problems.

You know it works because it's from the makers of Proactive. Just watch out for the side effects.

Check out Hilary's tips on how to have the perfect celebrity pregnancy, including advice on live tweeting the birth (sponsored by Red Bull, of course), unique names and whether you should have a Kardashian be the godparent, in a behind-the-scenes featurette after the jump.

When the beautiful Hilary Duff stopped by the MTV Newsroom to talk about her second novel, "Devoted," she also dropped some pretty big news – she's looking to get back in the studio soon to record a follow-up to her 2007 album Dignity and doesn't see why her growing baby bump should stop her.

She also joined the fun to play our favorite getting-to-know-you game: Two Truths & A Lie. Is Hilary a natural redhead who dies her locks blonde (sort of like her former nemesis Lindsay Lohan)? Is she obsessed with the cinema classic "Drop Dead Gorgeous," starring Kirsten Dunst and Denise Richards? Or is the LA-based starlet one to watch out for when she hits the freeway?

Watch the video below to find out.

First time mom-to-be Hilary Duff is hard at work getting ready for her new baby and also hard at work on her career. The former Disney star, who just announced that she is having a baby boy, recently released her novel "Devoted," the second in her trilogy series "Elixir." Yet, being an author isn’t the only thing Duff is doing to keep herself busy before the baby, she recently told us that she really wants to get back into music.

"Before I got pregnant I was really starting to work on a new record," Hilary said. "I hadn’t gotten into the studio yet, but was meeting with lots of people and kind of just figuring out where I fit now and what direction I want to go in. I still want to do that."

Hilary, whose last album "Dignity" was released in 2007, doesn’t have a plan to release the album anytime soon, she has one thing in mind: spend some quality time with her new baby. But watch out, Baby Duff, you might have to pack your bags for a little road trip!

"I think there’s no reason why I can’t be in the studio working on that while I’m knocked up," Hilary joked. "But I would obviously wait. I want to have a few months with my baby, and then I think maybe touring with a baby could be easy." Read More...

Hilary Duff's Disney princess days are "So Yesterday." These days, she's an actress/singer turned author and mogul who is busy being a full-fledged, fully-functioning adult. (Hear that, Lindsay Lohan!) She's also a hockey wife and expectant mother. So, at the ripe old age of 24 (yes, only 24!), she's managed to make the transition of tween queen to full-fledged adult star pretty seamlessly.

And for that we have this message for the Duffster: Happy Birthday! For those of you youngsters less familiar with Mrs. Mike Comrie, you might be more familiar with the Disney actresses who have followed in the grand Duff tradition. Without Hil, we wouldn't have a business model followed by the likes of Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato, to name a few.

One decade ago, Duff became a household name as the star of "Lizzie McGuire." The show was an instant success with early millennium tweens and launched Duff into mega-fame. Thanks to the show, she was able to transition successfully into movies like "Cheaper By The Dozen" (and its sequel), "Agent Cody Banks" and "A Cinderella Story." Read More...

Back in the early part of this millennium, there was a love triangle between three of the tween world's biggest stars – Hilary Duff, Lindsay Lohan and Aaron Carter. That's right, long before they grew up (and Duff announced her pregnancy over the weekend) and the world took them in very different directions, teen dreams LiLo and Duff were once in a bit of a heated feud over the affections of Backstreet brother Carter.

Duff and Carter began dating back in 2001. They met on the set of her hit Disney series, "Lizzie McGuire." Things were going great for the two … until flame-haired love sorceress (and then-major movie star) Lindsay Lohan came along. Carter reportedly cheated with Lohan while still with Duff and eventually it all came crashing down in a very public way.

At the time, it seemed they all had a pretty good shot at making the transition from teen star to adult superstar. But a decade later, things turned out … um, different. If someone had told us then that Duff would go on to best Lohan in not only the boy department but also with her career and image, we would have been a little surprised. OK, so Duff was kind of the Miley Cyrus of her day, but Lohan showed so much promise that nothing seemed like it could knock her off her Hollywood trajectory. As for Carter, well that's a whole other story. Read More...
