As Nick Jonas prepares for his debut in “How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying,” he’s opening up to The Advocate about his history on Broadway, as well as his future on The Great White Way.

When asked if he’d ever consider going au natural on stage, like his “How To Succeed” predecessor, Daniel Radcliffe, he didn’t completely rule it out. “I love theater and I understand the difference between acting and who you are as a person. I don’t know that it’s something I would’ve done in the end, but I definitely would’ve considered it,” he said laughing. “You have to be open to everything.”

Nick does seem pretty open to a lot of stuff. He says that growing up in Broadway shows has always meant that he’s comfortable around gay people. While he clarifies that none of the JoBros are gay, he adds that they totally love their gay fans. “It was definitely cool when we realized that, because the more you can grow your audience, the more people you can impact. They’ve been incredible over the years,” he said. “My brothers and I totally look forward to meeting them, because they really respond to our style, and it’s cool to see how our influence has impacted what they’re wearing. They also give really good gifts at our meet-and-greets — hats, scarves, and other things. They always have good taste.” Read More...

She's taken the stage with her kids, but it's the guys that Britney Spears brings on stage to perform lap dances on that really make headlines. On Monday night, Joe Jonas ended his run opening for Spears in Europe and she rewarded the singer for all his hard work with a private lap dance during her song "Lace and Leather."

"What a great night! LONDON! you rule! what a way to end the @britneyspears tour," he tweeted, before this shout out for his Femme Fatale, "And.. @britneyspears thanks for the strip tease.. ;) "

Joe is, of course, only the latest recipient of Spears' sexy dances. Over the course of her last two tours, the singer has given some of her high-profile pals – and pals with benefits – a lap dance. Read More...

Sure Nick Jonas is prepping for a 2012 leading role in the hit Broadway musical "How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying," but does that mean we really won't see any new music from the Jo Bro any time soon?

The answer, in short, is yes. With a bustling career on the stage and behind-the-scenes working with artists like Charice and Greyson Chance, right now, Nick confirms to MTV News, he's more focused on writing for others than writing for himself.

"You know, I don’t really have any plans right now to release any of those [songs] on my own, but what I think is really interesting about this year is my focus really has been on other people," he told us earlier this summer. "[I'll be] using all that I've learned over the years and hopefully creating some great music for other people."

Full disclosure: I've been following the career of the Jonas Brothers for years now, so this clip of Joe Jonas being a very mature (and shirtless) with a girl in a hotel room in Paris is kind of like seeing my little brother's totally hot friend in a whole new light.

(Note to my little brother's friends, I don't think any of you are hot.)

That said, Joe's clip for "Just In Love With You" seems super steamy. And we're super into it. A teaser just dropped and it features Joe and his leading lady, Angele, being all in love and cuddling around in bed together. The teaser only lets us know that Joe is in Paris, romping around with Angele and that he has to leave soon. (Cue the tears!)

So, we're gonna imagine 5 other things we'd like to see happen before he bids au revoir to Paris. And they're all work-appropriate. We promise! Read More...

It's all about the actual All-Star Game today, with the big game set to take place in Arizona, but just days ago Nick Jonas had the pleasure of playing in the Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game, where he threw around the ball alongside celebs and legends like Bernie Williams, Mike Piazza and Ernie Banks.

"I was approached about being a part of the celebrity softball game at All-Star weekend and I'm obviously a huge baseball fan," he told MTV News about the chance to play alongside fellow celebs like Jordin Sparks and Chord Overstreet. "So I'm excited to get my softball in."

You see, the chance to play meant even more for Nick, since his team, The Road Dogs, isn't playing this season. Why? Well, Nick and his famous brothers, Joe and Kevin, aren't touring this summer.

(By the way, we were there with the Road Dogs in '09 and '10.)

"The Road Dogs are on hiatus this year, which makes me sad, but I can still go play some softball with celebrities and All-Stars," he said. "It'll be fun." He later added, "I've watched it every year for 18 years, so I'm excited to see it." Read More...

It was an all-out good time on Wednesday night in Brooklyn thanks to a fun fest thrown by Paper magazine that included performances from current cover boys Joe Jonas and Swizz Beatz.

MTV News had the pleasure of catching up with the musicians at the Sounds Like Paper Concert at the House of Vans in Brooklyn, NY, where they were celebrating their Paper magazine cover along with the night's DJ Jonjon Battles. We asked all the hard-hitting questions … like what cover they'd buy, if, let's say, they weren't actually on the cover.

Joe, being the sweet guy he is, told us that he'd be all about the Swizz cover of he were to buy one. "I would have to go with Swizz. I don’t know about the other guy," he joked. "I actually really like Swizz Beatz's watch [on the cover]."

Nick Jonas

By James Dinh

Attention Lady Gaga fans: there’s a new Little Monster in town, and he goes by the name of Nick Jonas. Yes, the youngest singer/songwriter of the JoBro trio put his paw up for the pop megastar on Friday by covering her latest single, “The Edge Of Glory,” during an acoustic performance in Los Angeles.

Like many of her fan covers that have flooded the world of YouTube, Mother Monster caught wind of the performance and took to Twitter to gush about his rendition. “Swoon! Nick Jonas singing The Edge of Glory … On my way to press conference in Taichung, listening to it. So dreamy! X,” Gaga wrote. Accepting her approval tweet, Jonas replied to the singer, writing “the pleasure is all mine. That is a beautiful song. Keep inspiring the world.”

Now, if Jonas’ Gaga fandom comes as a surprise, then you’re in for a treat, as the MTV Newsroom has decided to take a look back at some other noteworthy Gaga covers from even more friendly faces you might recognize. You know what they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Read More...

On Wednesday (June 8), Nick Jonas showed up on my turf here at the MTV News offices to shed some light on his latest venture, working with Quaker Chewy Superstar Search to find the next big thing. While here, he also chatted with VH1's Jim Shearer during a live stream Q&A session before performing three tracks off his 2010 solo album.

The acoustic set really showed another side of Nick. He was lighthearted, cracked some jokes and charmed the room with his soulful, acoustic pop. A true testament to his musicianship and star power, he managed to turn some non-believers (we know you're out there!) into fans.

What did he dazzle them with? "Rose Garden," a sad track about how hard life can be; "Who I Am," a midtempo tune on which Nick confesses his need to find love; and "Last Time Around," a funky track about remembering a certain love in your life.

After a rousing performance that had everyone in the room swooning, Nick chatted with us about some of his upcoming projects, including that Quaker Chewy contest, where he'll help make a kid between the ages of 8 and 14 star. He also talked about his onstage role in "Hairspray" this summer as well as what's up from him in Musicland. (Check out the video below for more on that!)

DALLAS — I don't know what happens when you sit me down with the Jonas Brothers, but it feels like magic. The four of us just have an indefinable chemistry that comes naturally to four kids who were all raised in New Jersey. We hit it off so well on my most recent visit — here in Dallas to talk about their tour launch next week — that they invited me to join them on the most sacred of Jonas Brothers activities: They invited me to go dirt biking with them. In all honesty, they get me so much. I've never been on a dirt bike, but there's a first time for everything, and I would want my first time to be with those guys (what girl wouldn't want that?). Plus, it'll be a great way to kick Kevin's butt for always thinking I'm a dude.

Although my sassy attitude may seem frightful to most everyone else I meet, the JoBros (as the kids on the street call them) just get it. They're not scared when I mention the names Miley Cyrus or Taylor Swift. In fact, they welcome those kinds of questions from me. We talked about their new album, their tour, their exes, actual fourth brother Frankie, "Camp Rock" and more, so you'll have to stay tuned to MTV News to get the whole scoop.
