Today just happened to be the official opening day at the new Yankee Stadium and Kelly Clarkson was on hand to sing the national anthem. Decked out in Yankees gear, the former "American Idol" champ wowed the crowd, who gathered for the first official game at the new stadium on a very sunny day New York City.

Maybe the girl-pop world is taking inspiration from President Barack Obama's renewed interest in green technology, but for whatever reason, there's a lot of song recycling going on lately.
