There's only a few days left before Christmas, and if you're anything like us, you still have a lot more gifts to grab. Luckily, there were plenty of CDs released this year, so there's plenty of options for stuffing the stockings of the music lover in your life. In today's edition of the "Oh Snap! Poll," we hit the street of Times Square to ask people what album they want most for Christmas. Hopefully it will give us some insight into what to grab our loved ones.

Christen Estudillo was first in line outside of Footlocker waiting on a chance to buy a pair of Space Jam Air Jordan XI's. He said he was excited to get a copy of Jay-Z's The Blueprint 3. "It's pretty different, new kind of music. [He's] always coming out with something better to impress the fans."

Then we met mom Diane Lobell. She said she was in the city to drop her daughter off for an appearance on "Glenn Beck," but she couldn't wait to tell her daughter that she was on MTV News. She also couldn't wait to get her hands on a copy of Lady Gaga's The Fame Monster. "I love her. She's just so cool," Lobell said. "I saw her on some show a couple of weeks ago. She's just amazing."

Prince from Harlem wanted to get ahold of new albums from Gucci Mane and Alicia Keys, as well as a copy of Beyoncé's I Am ... Sasha Fierce for his wife. When we asked him why, he smiled and just replied "She likes Beyoncé."

What album do you covet most for Christmas? Do you want Eminem under your tree, or would you prefer the soundtracks from "Glee"? Leave your thoughts in the comments!

Today is an important day in the life of Chris Brown, as it marks the release of his new new album Graffiti. It's a big deal any time a high-profile artist like Brown puts out a fresh record, but this one is especially important, as it's his first release since pleading guilty to assaulting Rihanna. The question that has hung in the air ever since the incident last February was whether or not Brown would lose fans because of his actions. Would people swear him off no matter how contrite he seemed or would they be willing to give him a second chance to make things right?

We hit the street to talk to some people (including a whole host of and found out their thoughts on Brown and whether or not they would be purchasing Graffiti.

The comically unscientific results are in, and it turns out that 81 percent of the people we spoke to said that they would not be adding copies of Graffiti to their music collections. A handful said they simply aren't fans of Brown's brand of music, but there were many who cited the assault as a reason not to pick up the album. "I think that I probably would have supported him," one respondent told us. "I really enjoyed his music, but to hear that that's the kind of person he is and those are the kinds of actions he partakes in, that's not something I want to support with my money."

For what it's worth, Brown's new album is currently sitting at #2 on the iTunes sales chart (just behind the second entry in the soundtrack series to the TV show "Glee") and the single "I Can Transform Ya" has been moving steadily up the charts.

Celebrity couples are nothing new, but some are more intriguing than others. And the romances associated with the "Twilight" movies are even more fascinating, as they draw us ever closer to that fantasy world of morphing werewolves and shimmering vampires. While the world still debates whether or not Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are actually a couple, another "Twilight"-centric romance may be bubbling up. Taylor Lautner, the muscle-bound, oft-shirtless actor who plays Jacob in "Twilight," has been repeatedly spotted spending quality time with Kanye West's favorite interruption target Taylor Swift. The 20-year-old country superstar has denied that the two are dating (she says they're just "really close"), but rumors continue to build a case for their actual courtship.

But whether or not they're dating is hardly the issue. What's really at stake here is who the superior Taylor is. When was the last time we had two ultra-famous people named Taylor walking the Earth at the same time? Like "The Highlander," there can be only one, so we grabbed a video camera and our trusty MTV News microphone and found some people to weigh in on who their favorite Taylor is.

The spectacularly unscientific results are in, and in what might be considered an upset, Swift walked away the winner with 71 percent of the vote. In fact, it's pretty clear that even though Lautner is a heartthrob, his fame is nowhere near that of Swift's (one of the respondents who didn't know who Lautner was thought he was a woman).

What do you think? Is Swift the superior Taylor, or are you on Team Lautner? Leave your thoughts in the comments or head over to Your.MTV.com to make your voice heard!

In the wee hours of the morning, Adam Lambert unleashed the music video for "Time for Miracles," his debut single that is on the soundtrack to the forthcoming disaster film "2012." The clip borrows a lot of the destruction imagery from the film and places Lambert in the middle of the chaos. It's a big, bold, cinematic introduction for the "American Idol" runner-up and is an appropriate accompaniment to the classic-sounding power ballad.

MTV News' James Montgomery and Jim Cantiello already weighed in with their opinions (they are both fans of the clip and compare it to the video for Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" (which came from the 1998 summer blockbuster "Armageddon"), except better. But what we really want to know is what the public thinks, which is why we grabbed our parachutes, crashed through the 29th floor window of MTV News and landed in Times Square so we could talk to some fans about "Time for Miracles."

The hopelessly unscientific results are in, and it appears as though most of the public (or at least the people waiting in line to catch John Mayer and Kristin Davis on a new episode of "It's On with Alexa Chung") endorsed Lambert's video. 71 percent of the people polled gave "Time for Miracles" the thumbs up, with many commenting on the greatness of the effects and the overall feel of the presentation. Those opposed were mostly down on the song, as they thought it wasn't a good fit for Lambert (a concern Cantiello shares). But overall, the video is a winner.

What do you think: Is "Time for Miracles" an early candidate for a 2010 VMA, or should Lambert have left the fireballs at home? Leave your thoughts in the comments below or head over to Your.MTV.com to make your voice heard!

It's been a long, odd year for Rihanna. She kicked off 2009 still riding high on the success of her hit 2007 album Good Girl Gone Bad, which featured smash singles like "Umbrella," "Disturbia" and "Don't Stop the Music." But then her year got derailed by the domestic violence incident involving boyfriend Chris Brown. After what has seemed like an awfully long road, Rihanna is back with a new album (Rated R, which hits stores on November 23) and a new single in "Russian Roulette," which made its debut this morning. Though many people (especially those of us in the MTV Newsroom) were expecting a hyped-up banger, "Russian Roulette" is actually a slow-burning ballad that puts the confessional lyrics front and center. Still, it retains the same sort of attitude and atmosphere that has made Rihanna such a definitive artist.

But that's what we think. The real question is what the public thinks. There's only one way we know of to find out what the people are thinking, which is why we repelled down the side of 1515 Broadway into New York's Times Square to play the track for some fans (many of which were itching to catch Shakira and Paramore on "It's On with Alexa Chung") and find out what their knee-jerk reactions were.

The ridiculously unscientific results are in, and the news is good for the Barbados-born singer, as 83 percent of the people we talked to gave "Russian Roulette" the thumbs-up. Though many of them brought up the fact that they were expecting something different, most saw that as a positive. Rated R promises to be one of the most fascinating albums of the year, and "Russian Roulette" appears to have gotten it off on the right foot.

"Gossip Girl" star Leighton Meester has become the latest actress to unleash a song on the masses in an attempt at a crossover. The track, "Somebody to Love," features a guest spot from Robin Thicke and is the first single from Meester's forthcoming debut full-length album. It's bright, shiny dance beat (produced by Mike Caren and Oligee and written by Usher collaborator Rico Love) borrows heavily from classic Madonna tracks and provides a good base for Meester's shape-shifting voice. The track is also miles away from the type of music that "Gossip Girl" castmate Taylor Momsen has been producing with her band Pretty Reckless.

We know what we think, but what do the people thing? We decided to hit the street outside of MTV News headquarters, play the tune for some folks and get their initial reaction to it. It's a chilly day in Times Square today, but did Meester's "Somebody to Love" help provide some warmth?

The delightfully unscientific results are in, and the majority have sided with Meester and "Somebody to Love." 72 percent of the people we talked to in Times Square said that they were on board with it, citing the propulsive beat and the subtly catchy melody. Even the 28 percent who didn't like the track wanted to let Meester down easily. "I like the song, but she's better as an actress," said one respondent.

What do you think? Does "Somebody to Love" deserve heavy rotation or the old heave-ho? Leave your thoughts in the comments or head over to Your.MTV.com to make your voice heard!

Perhaps the most hotly-anticipated aspect of "Michael Jackson's This Is It," the forthcoming film that documents the rehearsals for the late superstar's planned residency at London's O2 Arena, is the unveiling of a never-before-heard song from Jackson's apparently deep vault. The song, "This Is It," made its way online today (it premiered over at Jackson's official Web site), and it's a vintage midtempo Jackson ballad that features his iconic voice and an ambling melody that recalls his hit "Heal the World." (That association may not be too far off, as the song may have come from the sessions for Jackson's 1991 album Dangerous.)

But does the song live up to Jackson's towering legacy? There's only one way to find out, which is why we took the elevator down 29 floors, walked out the front door and headed into New York City's Times Square to get some immediate reactions from some fans on the street.

The hilariously unscientific results are in, and the crowd has given an overwhelming thumbs up to "This Is It," with 87 percent of the people interviewed endorsing the song. Many seemed to be excited just to hear Michael's voice again, though more than one noted that they were really attracted to the positive nature of the lyrics. Of the minority who didn't like the tune, most had issues with the tempo.

What do you think: Does "This Is It" a worthy addition to Jackson's songbook or should it have stayed in the vault? Leave your thoughts in the comments below or head over to Your.MTV.com to make your voice heard!

Despite all the fireworks on last night's episode of "Dancing with the Stars," Miley Cyrus still grabbed the biggest headlines of the night with the short preview of the "Party in the U.S.A." video. This morning, the entire clip premiered, and it features Cyrus in short shorts and cowboy boots hanging on the back of a pickup truck and singing in front of an American flag (in a scene that reminded MTV News' Jim Cantiello of the opening scene of the 1970 biopic "Patton"). The buzz surrounding the video — the first from Cyrus' new EP Time of Our Lives — was mostly about Cyrus' sexier approach to presenting herself on video.

But we never really know what the general public is thinking until we ask them, which is why we grabbed our trusty cameras, took the elevator to the lobby and headed out into Times Square to play the video for fans and get their reactions to Cyrus' latest video. Is it a winner, or is it just too much?

The painfully unscientific results are in, and it looks like "Party in the U.S.A." has people sharply divided, with 71 percent of those polled coming down on the side of "Not feeling it." Most people found the clip to be "too sexy" and several aren't buying her transition from Disney diva to actual diva. Still, a handful of people did enjoy the video's energy and thought that the added bit of sexiness was a healthy progression for Cyrus.

What do you think? Does "Party in the U.S.A." rock or should it be rejected? Leave your thoughts in the comments or head over to Your.MTV.com to make your voice heard!

It seems like the music world is only just recovering from the MTV Video Music Awards, but it's already time to move on to the next huge event on the calendar. Tonight, VH1 brings back "Divas," which will air live from the Brooklyn Academy of Music in Brooklyn, New York, tonight at 9 p.m. ET. The show will feature performances from next-gen divas Leona Lewis, Adele, Jennifer Hudson, Miley Cyrus, Jordin Sparks and Kelly Clarkson. But the entire show may be hijacked by host Paula Abdul, who will be taking part in her first television show since her departure from "American Idol." In the show's history, "Divas" has featured just about every huge female name in music, from Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Tina Turner, Cher, Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige and Beyoncé. But just about every year has one dominant diva, a single lady who sets herself apart from the rest of the pack. Who will stand slightly taller at tonight's show? Will Jennifer Hudson reign supreme or will Kelly Clarkson declare herself queen? Will Miley Cyrus elevate herself to diva status or will Jordin Sparks rise above?

Because there are so many diva experts in the MTV Newsroom, we decided to pass the microphone around the office and get everybody's thoughts on who their favorite diva is.

The fantastically unscientific results are in, and Clarkson narrowly gets the nod with 29 percent, but she has Miley Cyrus nipping at her heels with 26 percent. But looking down the list, there's also a healthy contingent who think Abdul could steal the whole show.

On last night's premiere of "The Jay Leno Show," the host welcomed Kanye West to the stage for a three minute chat about his storming the stage at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday. West was already scheduled for the show as its first musical guest (later, he joined Jay-Z and Rihanna for a blistering blast of "Run This Town"), but Leno made it sound like West wanted to take some time to talk about Sunday night's incident. While he never actually said the words "I'm sorry," he did acknowledge the rudeness of his actions and seemed to have some genuine remorse over what happened. He even hinted that he might need to take some time off to re-evaluate some things in his life. This was the third of a total of four apologies, but the Jay Leno visit was the most public and talked-about.

Just about everybody has voiced an opinion in one way or another, but we wanted to know what was on the minds of the public. So we hit the streets and talked to a random sampling of fans to find out whether or not they believed West's apology.

The hilariously unscientific results are in, and it appears as though West's road to redemption runs straight uphill. 68 percent of the people we spoke to said they weren't buying West's apology, with most of those suggesting that while he may have meant it, that doesn't mean he wouldn't do it again. West still has his supporters, though, and the 32 percent of people who responded to our question said that they would still support West despite his unfortunate actions at the VMAs.
