TMZ reports that Kanye West might face only misdemeanor charges in the paparazzi scuffle that happened at Los Angeles International Airport Thursday morning. While the camera his road manager smashed was worth around $1,400, the rapper only grabbed a $100 light unit.

In the future, stars might want to thank 'Ye for making their trips to LAX a bit less, er, flashy. According to the Los Angeles Times, two city councilmen have asked airport officials to evaluate how to keep the public safe when high-profile passengers have to deal with paparazzi who are staking them out in terminals.
