Pink

By Meredith Goldberg-Morse

For those of you who can’t wait for Pink’s upcoming album, we’ve got a little something to tide you over. In addition to The Truth About Love cover art, we’ve got the track list for the sassy singer’s anticipated new album.

Check it out:

1. "Are We All We Are"
2. "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)"
3. "Try"
4. "Just Give Me a Reason"
5. "True Love"
6. "How Come You’re Not Here"
7. "Sl*t Like You"
8. "The Truth About Love"
9. "Beam Me Up"
10. "Walk of Shame"
11. "Here Comes the Weekend"
12. "Where Did the Beat Go?"
13. "The Great Escape"

The Truth About Love, slated for a September 18 release, will be Pink’s first full-length album in four years. It’s also her first since giving birth to musically-gifted daughter Willow Sage, who lends her bell and bass-playing skills to two of the album’s tracks. Not bad for a one-year-old, huh?

The album’s infectious first single, Blow Me (One Last Kiss), has already entered the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100. If this is any indication of things to come, expect Pink to take over radio airwaves come September.

Pink

Pink is ramping up for the release of her sixth studio album, The Truth About Love, and today (July 16) revealed the album's cover. Check it out (right)!

Looking great in a short black top and even shorter black shorts, with red heels and her hair giving off a soft, signature pink glow, the singer has already released the set's lead single, "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)."

Produced and co-written by Greg Kurstin, who is experiencing quite a run of success lately, having produced and co-wrote Kelly Clarkson's smash "Stronger," which has gone on to become the biggest hit ever for an "American Idol" contestant, the track is quintessential Pink – heavy on the attitude with a big beat and a catchy chorus. The song is one of several collaborations between Kurstin and Pink on her upcoming album.

In addition to his work with Clarkson and Pink, Kurstin is reportedly working with Lily Allen on her comeback album.

The Truth About Love is Pink's first studio album since 2008's Funhouse The pop star did, however, score two back-to-back smash singles, "Raise Your Glass" (#1) and "F**kin' Perfect" (#2), from her 2010 best-of package Greatest Hits…So Far!

Mark Wahlberg

Mark Wahlberg is a pretty successful guy. At 41, he has an Oscar nomination, five hundred million-plus grossing blockbusters and a slew of other critical and box office hits under his buff belt. What he doesn't have is a high school diploma, but the father of four is looking to set an example and is returning to school to get his high school diploma.

The actor dropped out of school in the ninth grade, and on "The Late Show with David Letterman" last night announced that he's going back to high school beginning later this month. Wahlberg will complete his education courtesy of a new online program.

"It's an actual diploma," Wahlberg told Letterman. "I've got to take up all the courses that I missed, and I'm a little nervous. … They're going to give me whatever credits I already have, which is probably like one or two. But I'm going to make it happen."

Wahlberg's announcement is no doubt linked to his involvement with Taco Bell’s Graduate-To-Go program as an ambassador. The actor has been involved with the program, which seeks to help at-risk teens graduate high school, for three years.

"Participating in this campaign with Mona [a student helped by the program] inspired me, and I hope it will inspire others to help teens like her achieve greatness against all odds," Wahlberg said in a recent press release announcing his continued involvement.

He told Letterman that he has "a lot of downtime on sets in the trailer and stuff," so he hopes to "blast through [his course work]—hopefully do it within six to eight months."

Wahlberg isn't the only celebrity who, despite fame and fortune, has put a premium on education, seeking out their high school diploma or GED after dropping out of school for one reason or another.

Pink is having a rough week. The Grammy winner has been in the hospital, suffering from what she first announced was the stomach flu, though a recent tweet suggests she is now having problems with her gall bladder.

The hospital stay has sadly put a damper on the singer's plans to perform at a fundraising event for President Barack Obama and it forced her throw a rather unconventional first birthday party for daughter Willow in her hospital room.

Pink was scheduled to appear at an Obama event in Los Angeles on Wednesday (June 6), but has been replaced by 'Glee' star Darren Criss. "I'm so bummed I can't perform for The President of the United States this Wed night," she tweeted. "Thanx @darrencriss for filling in for me!! #badtiming."

She continued, "So now I've let down my daughter and the President. wow. great week."

We don't think little Willow made out all that badly. Pink tweeted that her daughter "just got a Gucci dress and a custom rocking chair for her birthday, plus some Toms, so it ain't all bad. Lucky little girl. I think I got a bag of cheetos and a teddy bear for my 1st birthday."

Check out Willow's delicious-looking birthday cake below! Read More...

Pink, Twitter

Pop singer Pink is under the weather, but that's not enough to keep the "So What" tough girl down.

Late in the day yesterday (May 31), the 32-year-old shared a photo on Twitter that shows her layed up in a hospital bed with an IV in her arm. Despite the serious-seeming situation, however, she is sporting a big smile while sippin' on some juice (or water or something).

Why the happy face?

"Maybe it’s cause my mom was an ER nurse all my life – but throw me in a gown and a hook me up to an IV – and I’m a happy girl," she wrote.

So what's got our girl down? Seems she caught a bug … and maybe something a little extra for good measure.

"Thanks for all the get well wishes. And no-they don't give morphine for flu," she tweeted after receiving plenty of well-wishes from concerned fans. "I might have ulcers again. Because I care too much. It's a gift."

Get well soon, girl. We're really looking forward to that record you're working on!

Of course, she's not the first star to invite her fans into the hospital room. Rihanna recently caused a bit of concern after tweeting an image of an IV in her arm, but offering no real explanation for what was wrong. A source close to Rihanna later told People the singer was not suffering from anything serious: "She had a fever and flu since last week and needed an IV, but is fine now."

Never one to hold her tongue, Pink lit into Chris Brown during last night Billboard Music Awards, accusing the hip-hop star of lip synching his dance-heavy performance of "Turn Up the Music."

"One day if I lip-sync, I hope I do it as well as him," the 32-year-old singer tweeted during the show.

To be fair, she was far from the only one – our Twitter feed lit up with the accusation during the show, which also featured performances from Katy Perry, Usher and Jordin Sparks, who remembered her "Sparkle" co-star Whitney Houston with a stirring rendition of her signature "I Will Always Love You."

Pink had far kinder words for two of the night's other major performances, lavishing praise on both Carrie Underwood and Justin Bieber. Of Underwood, Pink tweeted, "Sing that song woman. Ms Underwood sounds lovely."

She also gave props to Bieber, saying, "I like this boyfriend song.... I also would really like one of those glow in the dark dancer outfits!!! Hawt."

Pink

By Zachary Swickey

One of our favorite female voices in music, Pink, has been out of the spotlight for a while because she has been busy with her beautiful baby daughter at home with husband Carey Hart. In a new interview with Cosmopolitan, the singer opens up about how motherhood has changed her.

Willow Sage Hart was born last summer and Pink has been playing mommy full-time ever since. It’s been four years since she dropped her hit-heavy ("So What," "Sober") party album Funhouse, and the singer is finally back in studio working on a new album … but the process is a little different this time around.

"I'm used to going into the studio and smoking and drinking until three in the morning. But I can't drink as much because I'm breastfeeding,” she told the mag.

"See this glass of wine? Before, I'd have, like, four of them. Now, one is good. Oh, and I quit smoking," she continued. "I've exorcised a lot of my demons, but I'm still working on myself. I think I'll be a work in progress for the rest of my life."

She's also coming forward to say that despite the way culture sells it, pregnancy is no picnic. "I thought I’d feel like a goddess. They sell you on that, like you’ll never feel more feminine," she said. "Really, I just felt like a mess."

Pink took to Twitter to celebrate her first Mother’s Day (May 13) with her fans, tweeting, "It's my first mothers day- and I'm just filled to the brim with gratitude. My mama bear love goes out in the form of a mama bear hug to all."

No word on when we should expect Pink’s new album to drop, but even if it only included her doing a dozen different Guns N’ Roses covers, we would still be satisfied. Read More...

Pink

One of our favorite popsters, Pink, hit Twitter to reveal that she is set to return to the studio to begin work on her sixth studio album … and to celebrate she added a dash of her signature color to her short blonde locks and tweeted a pic to get her fans super excited.

The record will be the Grammy winners first full-length studio album since 2008's Funhouse. She released a best-of package in late 2010, Greatest Hits … So Far!, which brought her the #1 hit "Raise Your Glass" and a #2 with "F**kin' Perfect."

The set will be her first released on RCA Records after Sony Music Entertainment consolidated several of its labels, including her previous home, Arista, along with Jive and J Records, into RCA.

Are you as excited for a new Pink record as we are? Let us know in the comments below.

The last year was a big one for Pink. She welcomed a daughter with husband Carey Hart, released a smash greatest hits album and scored her second number one solo hit, "Raise Your Glass." Today, she celebrates her 32nd birthday, so let's, um, raise our glasses to Pink!

Incidentally, before we realized it was her birthday, we were already planning on toasting the pop star today, but for a different reason. We simply can't get enough of Pink on Twitter.

Since the birth of her daughter Willow, Pink has taken some time off to bond with her baby and nurture her growing family. It's pretty rare these days for such a high-profile celeb to set her career on the shelf for so long, but it's made us appreciate Pink all the more. We've always loved her tunes, but by opting away from full-on familial magazine spreads and "HOW I LOST THE BABY WEIGHT" headlines, we've gained an enormous amount of respect for the singer. She started her career as the bad-ass of the early aughts pop princesses, but Pink turned out to be the one to respect that some things are sacred. And that's pretty awesome.

On Twitter, Pink brings humor to the challenges of being a new parent. She also frequently responds directly to her fans and those who criticize her with the same snappy, take-no-s**t attitude that made us love her in the first place. After the jump, a few of our recent favorite tweets.

PinkPop-rock queen Pink took a page out of Britney Spears' flamboyant concert manual when she and a small army of carnival-inspired dancers hit the stage in Glasgow, Scotland, on Saturday during the European leg of her Funhouse tour.

Perhaps fueled by the reunion with her ex-husband Carey Hart last week, Pink delivered a high-octane show that featured a carousel set and stunning acrobatics true to the theme of the tour. Her European tour kicked off in France in February, with dates set across the continent through May. North American dates have yet to be set but are surely on the way.
