The Situation already has a workout DVD, a protein-infused vodka, and line of T-shirts and accessories called Dilligaf Couture by the Sitch. After last night's episode of "Jersey Shore," perhaps a book of relationship advice should be in the works. Because while comforting Ronnie following the post-brawl departure of Sammi, Sitch laid out the 11 rules for getting over a breakup.

1. It's good to cry, dog.
2. Think about what's going on in your life.
3. Walk around. Do something.
4. Do you, take care of you.
5. Go to the gym.
6. Listen to music.
7. Vibe out.
8. Remember that life goes on, time keeps ticking and if you don't keep going, you get left behind.
9. Never forget that if it's meant to be, it's meant to be, that life's not cookie-cutter, and that the Situation would rather die standing than live on his knees.
10. Put on a little Michael Bolton.
11. A little fetal-position action, you'll be OK.

Or not. As Ron Ron pointed out, listening to the Situation dole out relationship advice is like talking to a sailor about flying a plane. But hey, Sitch was just trying to make the best of a crappy state of affairs — much like the rest of the crew, who found themselves consumed with the particulars of poop: Deena couldn't go, Snooki needed to but Ron was in the john crying, and Vinny had to hold it while attempting to unclog the toilet. Oh, and there were soiled panties everywhere.

It was just that kind of episode. And the "Jersey Shore" kids attempted to make the best of it. They played pranks on one another, apparently didn't laugh when Sitch got his eyebrows waxed, and did their best to support Ron as he finally showed some genuine (though too-little-too-late) remorse. Ron, your heart might be in the right place, but flowers and chocolate aren't gonna mend Sammi's broken soul. Don't believe us? Follow along this week's "Jersey Shore by the Numbers" and see for yourself.

Even on relatively low-key days, the saga of Lindsay Lohan only gets weirder. As soon as the excitement began to build that the troubled actress (who is currently out on $40,000 bail from her felony grand theft charges) would be appearing on "The Late Show With David Letterman" to deliver the Top Ten List, it was just as quickly taken away.

The "Mean Girls" star, who was supposed to appear on Thursday (February 17) night's episode of the show (other guests scheduled to for that evening include fellow controversial celebrity party girl Paris Hilton), wrote on her Twitter page late on Tuesday (February 15), "I am NOT going to be doing David Letterman, I'm not sure how this happened, but I am sorry for the confusion."

As it turns out, LiLo wasn't pulling her followers legs. On Wednesday morning (February 16), CBS/Worldwide Pants (Letterman's production company) released a statement which read, "Lindsay Lohan will not be delivering a Top Ten list on Thursday’s 'Late Show with David Letterman,' as had been previously announced. We made a mistake. Someone purporting to be a friend of Lindsay’s reached out to the show yesterday, allegedly on her behalf, and booked her to appear. Clearly, this person was not authorized to make commitments on her behalf. We wish Lindsay well, and look forward to having her on the show in the future."

Apparently, the booking was made by none other than Lohan's dad Michael. He claims that Lindsay knew about the booking and gave her approval before the call was made. Like many things surrounding Lohan, it raises a ton of questions. Who contacted Worldwide Pants to tell them they had been duped? If Lindsay was never aware of the booking, what did Michael Lohan hope to accomplish? And if Lindsay did know about it, why did she back out? Oh, unknowable universe, we need answers!

Because we feel like we've been robbed of some quality late night television in the form of Lohan's Top Ten, here's a couple of Top Ten lists we would have loved to see the actress deliver on the show.

» Top Ten Ways Your Friend Tricks You Into Appearing On "Letterman"

» Top Ten Places To Inappropriately Wear A White Dress

» Top Ten Ways "Glee" Hurts All Of Our Feelings

» Top Ten Menu Items At The Los Angeles County Courthouse Cafeteria

» Top Ten Crimes Lindsay Lohan Hasn't Been Charged With (Yet)

» Top Ten Ways To Prank "The Late Show"

What Top Ten would you like to see Lindsay Lohan read? Let us know in the comments!

In the words of the guest of honor on Monday night's (February 14) episode of "Raw," "Finally, the Rock has come back!" Dwayne Johnson walked away from professional wrestling back in 2004 (his last appearance was at WrestleMania XX) to follow his dream of becoming a movie star (a goal he has accomplished several times over). In the years since his departure, plenty of stars have been made (John Cena, Randy Orton) and plenty of veterans have left and returned (Mick Foley, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin), but fans have been clamoring for the Rock to step back into the wrestling world in some capacity or another. On Monday night, they got their wish.

The show had been hinting at the idea of having a host at WrestleMania XXVII (which will be held at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta on April 3) for a while, and last week WWE chairman Vince McMahon announced to the audience that said host would in fact be revealed this week. The rumors immediately began to circulate, and while both Bob Barker and Justin Bieber had been batted around the Internet as possibilities, most fans believed that this role belonged to Johnson (who went along with the Internet rumors and teased the reveal on his Facebook page).

In an attempt to throw the audience off one last night, the producers of "Raw" suggested that the host would actually be a woman (they shot footage of what was supposed to be the host's car arriving at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California). But after a complete blackout and a strange video package of a lightning storm, that old familiar music kicked in and the Rock walked into the ring for the first time in seven years.

He hasn't lost a step, either. Over the course of a 15 minute speech, the Rock explained why he came back and issued challenges to both top superstar John Cena and current WWE Champion (and MTV reality show alumnus) the Miz. He also took the time to rip into much-loathed WWE play-by-play man Michael Cole and hit on all of his classic catch phrases. It's uncertain exactly what his hosting of WrestleMania will entail and whether or not he'll actually step into the ring to compete (he certainly still looks in fighting shape), but the fact that the Rock has returned is enough to not only keep current fans thrilled but also to bring back people who loved Johnson the first time around.

What did you think of the Rock's return? What do you think he'll do at WrestleMania? Let us know in the comments!

While most of the MTV News squad was distracted by the events of the 53rd Grammy Awards in Los Angeles over the weekend, there was a small contingent (including MTV Splash Page editor Rick Marshall) who spent their Sunday (February 13) at Toy Fair 2011, the annual trade show designed to show off the best new action figures board games on the horizon. While the crew was mostly on the hunt for movie-related toys (including new products related to the upcoming "Green Lantern" movie and the forthcoming "Thundercats" project), they happened upon one item that was right in the MTV Newsroom blog wheelhouse: The official "Jersey Shore" board game, designed and distributed by Cardinal Games.

The trivia game contains over 500 questions about the show's first season as well as the sojourn to Miami. The questions range from very straightforward ("Which cast member has left the show both seasons?") to the incredibly specific ("What did the boys do with the shoes Angelina left behind?"). There's a little bit of chance involved (based on the roll of the dice) and there are steep penalties for getting questions wrong.

If you think you are a "Jersey Shore" expert, you'll be able to beat down your friends with the "Jersey Shore" trivia game when it hits store shelves in March. Until then, you should really bone up on all the events you might have missed, and prepare yourself for future editions of the "Jersey Shore" board game by tuning in every Thursday night at 10 p.m. Eastern for brand new escapades featuring Snooki, the Situation, JWoww and the rest of your favorite Seaside Heights residents.

If you're anything like the MTV Newsroom staff, then the 53rd Grammy Awards kept you up until all hours on Sunday night (February 13). So now that you're already used to staying up past your bedtime, why not spend the rest of your week staying up late and watching talk shows? It's a good week for it, as there are some truly top-shelf guests hitting the studios this week — many of them fresh from their Grammy victories. For example, Lady Gaga will sit down and chat with Jay Leno on "The Tonight Show" on Monday night (February 14), where she will no doubt discuss her much-talked-about egg-assisted entrance on the red carpet. Other guests on "The Tonight Show" this week include John Legend (Monday), Charles Barkley (Wednesday, February 16) and 30 Seconds to Mars (Friday, February 18).

Meanwhile, David Letterman has cast his lot in another direction this week, as both his Monday and Tuesday (February 15) shows will prominently feature models from the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. They'll read a Top 10 list on Monday (where Letterman will also reveal the cover), and the cover model will sit on the couch on Tuesday. Letterman will also chat with Paris Hilton on Thursday (February 17), which means it should be an epic week on "The Late Show." Jimmy Kimmel has a big week on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" as well, as he'll have Jewel (Monday), Jeremy Renner (Tuesday), Javier Bardem (Wednesday) and Keri Hilson (Thursday). Jimmy Fallon will have a big music week, as the performers on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" include Greyson Chance (Monday), Drive-By Truckers (Tuesday) and the supremely strange hip-hop collective Odd Future (Wednesday).

Meanwhile, Conan O'Brien might have everybody beat this week, as his Monday show features both Justin Bieber and Grammy winners the Black Keys. This week will also see visits from Dr. Phil (Tuesday), Fred Armisen (Wednesday) and Miami Heat star Chris Bosh (Thursday).

"What'd I do?"

That's what Ronnie was wondering after he trashed Sammi's room, threatened to sleep with half the women in Seaside Heights, then trashed her room again. If Ron can't make the connection between action and consequence — if he's unclear why Sam had devolved into a sobbing puddle of emotional goo and hopped a cab outta Seaside Heights — we don't even know what to say.

Let's just knock back some Ron Ron juice and stumble through the madness that was last night's (Thursday, February 10) episode of "Jersey Shore." Children, cover your ears, because the string of insults Ron and Sam tossed each other's way is part Judd Apatow-comedy absurd, part horror-flick frightening. To wit: Sam accused Ron of being a sick pervert, a douchebag and a psycho, while Ron argued Sam was a dirt bag, a useless stupid bitch and a dog. And that was just during one stretch of the episode-long fight. It got ugly early and often. As the Situation asked at one point, after Ron went on a rant about girl code and guy code, "Where's general human code?"

Truth! And what's more, where are the rest of our "Jersey Shore" friends? Pauly D hardly showed his face at all this episode, his appearances largely reduced to shots of him cleaning his sneakers and laughing about how crazy it is that a relationship not his own is causing him so much stress. Pauly, we miss you dude, and can only hope that with Sam out of the house, our favorite reality show DJ will command a little more screen time. And hey, here's to hoping Sam will soon return to Seaside — stronger, single-er — and she won't fall for Ronnie's final line of the episode, "I miss her. I love her."

We'll pretend, bro, you didn't actually say that and instead proceed with another edition of "Jersey Shore by the Numbers."

The conversation about the Super Bowl continued through Monday (February 7) as people continued to talk about Christina Aguilera's national anthem performance, Aaron Rodgers' championship belt, the Black Eyed Peas' eye-popping halftime performance and this year's batch of high-profile commercials. The latter group inspired a particularly intense debate online, as no one spot seemed to be the "winner" this year (the way that the Betty White ad for Snickers did during last year's big game).

According to Tivo, the top-rated ad of the night was the reinvention of that same Snickers commercial, this time starring Richard Lewis and Roseanne Barr. Meanwhile, USA Today reported that the two highest-rated commercials both involved dogs (the Bud Light spot with the trained pooches and the Doritos ad with the pup who breaks down the door). And according to a poll hosted by the MTV Newsroom Blog, Eminem's two-minute tribute to Detroit (which advertised the new Chrysler 200) was the clear winner.

The commercial (which was the longest in Super Bowl history) picked up nearly 60 percent of the vote in the poll, handily beating the Volkswagen ad that featured a kid in a Darth Vader costume (that spot finished in second place with 27 percent of the vote). (Also, the Darth Vader spot finished just behind the top-rated winners in the USA Today poll.) With six percent of the vote, the third place position went to the Bridgestone ad that starred a helpful beaver. Eminem's other ad (for Lipton Brisk iced tea) came in fourth place with three percent and Chevrolet's "Lassie" spoof picked up two percent.

Eminem's appearance in the Chrysler ad — which was kept a secret up until its premiere on Sunday night (February 6) — has inspired a great deal of chatter. Many people raised their eyebrows at the idea of Eminem as a mouthpiece for a corporation, but advertising experts lauded the rapper for his authenticity. Either way, the commercial was not one that anybody will soon forget and will go down as one of the signature moments of Super Bowl XLV.

The biggest headline to come out of Sunday night's (February 6) Super Bowl wasn't the incredible performance by Green Bay Packers quarterback and game MVP Aaron Rodgers, nor was it the batch of high-profile commercials (lead by Eminem's dramatic endorsement of Chrysler), nor even the fact that 111 million people in the viewing audience made it the most-watched American television show in the history of the medium. Rather, people were still talking about Christina Aguilera's performance of "The Star-Spangled Banner" before kickoff, which contained a pretty high-profile lyric flub.

Aguilera subsequently apologized and also got a little back-up from Fergie (who later participated in the halftime entertainment as both a member of the Black Eyed Peas and as a stand-in for Axl Rose), but that didn't stop the late night hosts from poking fun at her mishap. Just about everybody who performs a monologue ended up cracking a joke about Aguilera, including David Letterman (who noted "I know all about public humiliation") and Jay Leno (who said "Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano told everybody if you see something at the Super Bowl that isn't right, tell somebody — and immediately 50 million people called after Christina Aguilera did the national anthem"). But leave it to Conan O'Brien to take it a step further and cut together an especially biting piece of video to poke fun at the flub.

"Everyone is talking about how Christina Aguilera screwed up the lyrics to the national anthem," Conan joked. "Some people noticed right away, and they were not happy." O'Brien then threw to a clip of Aguilera singing the song and getting a rude interruption care of a jet pilot in the midst of a flyover.

"That's a gutsy pilot to make that decision!" O'Brien noted after the clip.

"I read on the Internet that was for 'Burlesque.' It had nothing to do with the words," quipped Andy Richter.

All throughout the NFL season, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been making a name for himself not only because of his impressive statistics and clear leadership skills, but also because of his signature touchdown celebration. Whenever the 27-year-old Rodgers scored a touchdown, he made a motion with his hands as though they were wrapping around his waste — the sign that boxers, professional wrestlers and MMA fighters use to let the viewing audience know that they want the championship belt.

While some stuffy sports writers got all uppity about Rodgers' celebration (because apparently professional football players should be boring, charisma-free workhorses), but the crew here at MTV News (which includes a handful of hardcore wrestling and MMA fans) totally endorsed Rodgers' celebration. So when Rodgers received the Super Bowl MVP award following his team's 31-25 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night (February 6), the moment became just a bit sweeter when linebacker Clay Matthews appeared behind Rodgers and placed the WWE World Heavyweight Championship belt on his shoulder.

The belt, introduced into the WWE championship arena in 2002, is a tribute to the old NWA/WCW "big gold belt" that Ric Flair carried around the country for years. Since its inception in WWE, the strap has been worn by the likes of Triple H (who has openly praised Rodgers for his gesture), John Cena, Shawn Michaels, Batista, the Undertaker, Rey Mysterio and Chris Jericho (though Edge currently holds the strap — his sixth reign overall). It's easily the coolest-looking prize in all of professional wrestling, boxing or MMA, and it's extra cool that Rodgers incorporated it into his Super Bowl celebration.

Rodgers will probably get the chance to continue his heavyweight champ celebration, as the WWE's "Smackdown" show just happens to be in Green Bay this week.

Though the game itself was pretty thrilling (the Pittsburgh Steelers really did seem primed to make a heroic comeback until the Green Bay Packers' defense stood up and closed the door in the closing minutes of the fourth quarter), much of the conversation regarding the Super Bowl has been about what it is always about: the high-profile, super-expensive commercials that run during the game. Considering the Super Bowl is always the most-watched thing on television all year (prognosticators were expecting Sunday night's game to be the most-watched event in the history of American television, which means it would have had to have been seen by over 107 million people), the ad time is prime real estate for companies to sell their wares, introduce new products and just remind the universe that they exist.

Of all the awesome ads this year, no one spot has been talked about more than Eminem's appearance in Chrysler commercial that plugged the greatness of Detroit (and thus of the auto industry). The two minute spot (the longest in the history of the Super Bowl) was a dramatic endorsement of the new Chrysler 200 and of American-made cars in general, all set to Em's "Lose Yourself" and featuring a steely-eyed performance by the Detroit native. It was a heavy surprise that has launched a number of conversations about both the car company and Em himself.

But was it the best ad of the night? Many of the spots seemed to cover familiar territory (while funny, the Snickers spot starring Richard Lewis and Roseanne Barr hit the exact same notes as last year's Betty White breakout), while others just seemed sort of flat (none of the Pepsi Max ads ever really got out of the gate). Still, there was Bridgestone's "Helpful Beaver" spot, the Lipton ad (also starring Eminem) and Darth Vader's interaction with a Volkswagen, all of which were pretty entertaining. And of course, there were trailers for the upcoming films "Captain America," "Thor," "Super 8" and the new installment in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise.

Which one was your favorite? Vote in the poll below and make your arguments in the comments!
